Oh dear, this has been a rather bad month for me in terms of clothes spending, and a good month in terms of 'clothes acquiring'
spent £40 today on clothes-£25.60 on wedding clothes and £14.40 on a nice kimono for me.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

So last month I spent a total of £121 on a dress and 2 cardigans . The dress was, unfortunately, needed for a memorial service so I got a black cardigan to go with it and also a pink one which I've worn it with since to another event. Feel all 3 are items I'll get a lot of wear out of long term so shopping smarter
The current total is £191.03/400 so I'm still on budget for the year. I just need to avoid those pesky sales....

Ooh are there sales on at the moment?! Think I'll give them a miss.
I NEED a new pair of trainers but think I'll ask DS to get them for my birthday. He gets a discount where he works too.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I'm trying to stay out of the sales, nothing I really need, have lots of clothes I've bought while away with work (travel over the weekend so got to do some shopping) and don't really have time to be shopping with the new house ATM.
Was clearing things in the garage from the move yesterday and now have a large box of all the car boot clothes (which had come from the loft in the prev house) set to one side. I know there's a few more bits to add so just need to get a date to do one.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I have been awol, mainly because I have been lurking and catching up on the NBI thread and make do, mend and minimise thread. I bought two cropped cardies for the bargain price of £4 and £6 at Sainsbugs. They are the sort of thing I can never find when I need, so at that price I had to snap up. I have also amended my yearly budget to exclude shoes. I decided £150 per year was unrealistic if I included shoes. I haven't gone crazy but have bought a pair of sandals for £45 and a pair of walking shoes for around £45, both good quality which will last. It's hard to know in January what will break etc and need to be replaced.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930

I had to buy an emergency pair of jeans yesterday. I was at an outdoor event & was freezing. Popped in TK Maxx to buy a pair of tights and found a pair of skinny jeans in the clearance section (vero moda) for £4.00. That would have been justifiable but I then came across a lovely pair of Rachel Roy Jeans that fit like a glove - ended up buying them too.
£20.00 to add in total
