Congratulations on all the great losses, it's inspiring to see it happening for so many. Well don eon your SOTW Belsey and thanks Shala for the chart.
Blue Eyed Girl - maybe you could reduce your target for this challenge rather than leave? It would be a shame to lose you.
DH is away with work a bit this week and I find it easier to be "good" when he's not around! Hoping to lose a bit more than 1lb this week.0 -

I'm not really a violent person Cheese - but just sometimes when certain buttons get pushed:rotfl:

(oops don't know why but that quote's gone a bit wrong)
Happy to lend you my germs beg I think that's what's made me lose the majority in this challenge
[/QUOTE]
Think I will pass on the germ-sharing Candyapple if you don't mind. Enjoy your synful nightAh BEG that truly sucks. So frustrating I know how that feels as well. But focus on the positives you have done so well and I am sure that many people would give their eye teeth for half of your success so ignore them and be proud. Its so annoying though when you don't really know why. My body started to mess around like that on me once I hit a size 14 and it was a real battle to get down to a 10 / 12. It does and will come good in the end though.
You have inspired me to try a new veg this week though, maybe something ugly :rotfl: I will let you know who is the lucky candidate!
Re the Programme last night, seriously what is the point of it. :rotfl: There can't be too many more of them.
Sugar Free Farm tonight
Talking of sugar I was reading something last night that claimed there is two 2 teaspoons full of sugar in a Muller Light...... I eat them frequently at the minute. I may reduce that intake :rotfl:
Oh I'm back on it today lantanna.Met a lady on way to Mum's this morning and she told me how fantastic I looked and thought I had lost more weight so that perked me up. It's funny you should say that once you hit a size 14 - that's is the size I am mainly buying now so you could well have a point. I suppose the nearer we get to target the harder it will be. It's truly making us work for it. One point that p!sses me off is when people say - 'oh its alright for you - you can do it' Not without a certain amount of willpower and determination I can't
. Right that's it rant over for today. :rotfl:
Looking forward to Sugar Farm tonight. Why are we addicted to these programmes.

:T to arkers and queen of cheap.
Sorry you're feeling  BEG, hang on in there and you'll get back on track.:AThere's nothing worse then having to listen to others who have hit big numbers and claim to have been on the raz all week. Take this with a pinch of salt. They've either spent the rest of the week at the gym, been very lucky (it will probably catch up with them the next week), or there may be the odd porky or exaggeration there;).
Completely agree. It's rare that a bad few days catches up instantly. How often have we been to WI and been surprised with a loss we don't 'deserve'? I think it always catches up eventually good and bad. I know we all feel devastated when we've been 'good' and no result but it will come good in the end if we keep plodding. IT WILL!!!DH is away with work a bit this week and I find it easier to be "good" when he's not around! Hoping to lose a bit more than 1lb this week.
I know lush finds that when her OH is away with his team.
Thought of you last night when I saw the moon cheese. I was out dancing (Scottish) last night and to celebrate there was shortbread at our tea break. I politely refused.:D
:wave:hope you're OK wiz and you too meg if you're lurking.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks (mostly)
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and beetrootAustrian hash with cauli and broccoli
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, chorizo (about 2 max) in hash sprinkle of cheese on top but hope that's from HEA0 -
I am glad to report a loss of -4lbs:j. After last weeks fiasco things seem back on track. Beg, I was like you last week. I felt I had to do the walk of shame and sit in the naughty corner. There's nothing worse then having to listen to others who have hit big numbers and claim to have been on the raz all week. Take this with a pinch of salt. They've either spent the rest of the week at the gym, been very lucky (it will probably catch up with them the next week), or there may be the odd porky or exaggeration there;).
For those that wish to know Tug had the all clear from his pathology on the tumour, so I am in a much better place this week. He's still running round on three legs, he's as mad as a box of frogs.:rotfl:
Fab loss Arkers :T and great news re Tug :jqueen_of_cheap wrote: »Sorry I'm late - I was out all day yesterday then got caught up with other stuff - I lost 1lb this week
Well done on your loss queen of cheap :Tmusogirl295 wrote: »Diet program was just ridiculous last night with the nose feeding and I thought the woman that was having it done looked better before the weight loss!
Don't think I will try the nose-feeding anytime soon musogirl
That's a good thought Betty re the reducing of Challenge target but as I am about 4lbs in debt with it so far and we only have about 4 weeks left I think I might be lucky to break even this time.. It probably sounds a bit defeatist and I you're right I should probably hang in there even if I tweak my target.
Oh dear DH is doing Batchelor's Pasta n Sauce for an quick easy lunch and it has just boiled all over cooker top :rotfl:. Better go and investigate (not smirk you understand).
b_e_gSPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
That's exactly where I am now BEG and have been since last summer - stuck in the land of size 14 :rotfl: Theres something about that size clearly...... for me there def is anyway. My sticking point lol.
Tell DH he can go to my house, there is a half a pack of Pasta N Sauce in my fridge from last night. It took great efforts to ensure I didn't eat the whole pack myself in one go.
I bought the new smoked cheese and pancetta and pesto flavours the other day when they were on offer. Haven't tried those ones yet but would need to check the syns before I do.
I used to get that all the time from people silly little comments etc, its no easier for you than anybody else. The way I look at it it was just my time to do it when I did and its your turn right now and it will be somebody elses turn another time. Its a mix of jealousy with admiration, they don't understand your motivation, how you've done it and are a bit fascinated by you lol:T
Take it as a compliment! :A
Its ok don't worry I have 4 weeks to lose 11lbs - which clearly won't happen either but for me right now a loss of 7lbs or more will make me feel like a right winner!!0 -
I know lush finds that when her OH is away with his team.
I certainly do! Can't wait for him to go tomorrowhehe
yesterday wasn't so bad; couldn't eat until gone 1pm (after a 9am apt which I didn't eat before!) but I had:
HeB bread with free ham, muller greek style coconut (0.5 syn) - free with purchase of 3 sw meals/meats at IcelandChicken tikka slices (free)
and tea was chicken breast with lean bacon medallion and HeA cheese with a potato waffle and a heap of saladsome other sneaky syns was half a bag of hula hoop 3syns and a kit kat finger 3 syns
overall could have been worse or could have been better but I'm happy with it
today:
breakfast:
heb cereal with milk from hea and a peppermint tea
lunch:
big salad with spinach, lettuce, salad toms, chicken, cucumber and some free dressing
muller greek style yogurt (0.5)
choc digestive (5)
tea:
not 100% decided yet but I think chicken breast with rice and veg sauce (5.5syn) plus a heap of mixed veggies is sounding most appealing
other drinks: free flavoured water, rest of HeA milk in tea
body magic; walk up to town then to my afternoon meeting and back************************************

Yes Beanie, I graduated in 2001 though so it was quite some time ago now. But yes I really enjoyed it and Scotland overall. I had 4 fun filled years there - apart from the odd bit of studying they made me do lol :rotfl: I went to Stirling a couple of times and thought it was lovely!
Just checked the Pasta N Sauce and the new ones are on there, there is an Ariabatta one too. Oh dear the Smoked Cheese and Pancetta is 5 syns  It shall be saved. The Cheese & Brocoli remains my favourite followed by the Chicken and Mushroom. I only have them once in a blue moon but when I'm in the mood for one I love them! I add my HEa Cheese in the form of laughing cow light usually - yum

Afternoon... well done losers and sts's and gainers - keep plodding!
I didn't think the diet programme was as bad last night as previous weeks, the med diet and the volume one was quite 'sensible'. Can't believe they're making another series? How many stoopid diets are out there to try!
Thanks for you input izzybella, HIIT and weightlifting only help if you're following a healthy diet too, which SW gives you(if followed in the correct way). Some of already do HIIT and weights.
I quite fancied trying that smoked pancetta pasta n sauce Lantanna until you mentioned the syns
Great news on Tug Arkers :T:T

Hi everyone
No lunch with me today, so I'm off to see what's tempting in the staff canteen.
beg I realise I'm one of those annoying ones who are cheating loads and still losing overall, but I put on 2 stone from end of Aug to the beginning of Jan, and I think if you put it on that quickly through diabolical eating habits then it comes off a little easier. I'm sure you've been mostly well behaved which means that any naughtiness makes a huge difference. My mum was bemoaning this last week, she put on half a stone over Christmas and she's not even lost half of that yet despite being 100% on plan.
beanie and lantanna I'm a (half) scots girl myself, my sister went to Dundee and my dad was a porter at one of the halls of residence at Stirling uni. I went south as soon as I could though, and the rest of the family are in the north east of England now. Always strange seeing Scottish references on the forum!
Glad I missed the ridiculous diet program last night, I think nose feeding is probably a step too far. I need to catch up on the sugar one though, that seems much more my cup of tea. Does anyone know if it's on iplayer?0
