Meant to also say congratulations to Candyapple who has already reached her challenge target :T:T I think you should make it harder now, let the rest of us catch up:rotfl:

Don't panic shala I'm totally heading for a gain this week ;) I've been all over the place food-wise, we've ended up with takeaway twice since last WI because I couldn't muster up the energy to cook anything. I'm shocked to even make this 7lbs target as I've not hit challenge target for months now. If by some miracle I have a loss this week I'll increase it to have something to work towards :)

Now Candyapple has reached her target - I think its only fair she should help me out with mine :p :rotfl:

(oops don't know why but that quote's gone a bit wrong)

Happy to lend you my germs beg I think that's what's made me lose the majority in this challenge :D

Tonight is another bad food night - going out for a curry and some G&Ts, I'd like to say I'm using flexi syns but I'm really not I've had about 10876 syns this week already :rotfl: but I don't see this group of friends very often so I'm planning on enjoying myself and worrying about it later.

Have a fab day everyone, see you all tomorrow for WI

Enjoy the curry and the G&T's Candyapple, my favourite usage of syns! You definitely deserve them!!

I went to University in Dundee Greentiger and I can safely say you will need warming up when you come back from there. I do miss the place sometimes and think of it fondly! I'd love to go for a visit sometime and see how its changed in 15 years!

Ah BEG that truly sucks. So frustrating I know how that feels as well. But focus on the positives you have done so well and I am sure that many people would give their eye teeth for half of your success so ignore them and be proud. Its so annoying though when you don't really know why. My body started to mess around like that on me once I hit a size 14 and it was a real battle to get down to a 10 / 12. It does and will come good in the end though.

You have inspired me to try a new veg this week though, maybe something ugly :rotfl: I will let you know who is the lucky candidate!

Re the Programme last night, seriously what is the point of it. :rotfl: There can't be too many more of them.

    Sugar Free Farm tonight :D

Talking of sugar I was reading something last night that claimed there is two 2 teaspoons full of sugar in a Muller Light...... I eat them frequently at the minute. I may reduce that intake :rotfl:

Great losses there people :T Lots of people nailing the challenge.

Oh re the Veg here are my findings!

BNS Noodles - You can get it in a microwaveable Bag from M&S for a £1 and its really nice, didn't go mushy at all.

Cauli Rice - Best and cheapest one is Tesco £1 or on 2 for 3 with other veg. They actually call it Cauli Cous Cous. I really like it and its so easy - just dry fry for a few minutes. Great with something saucy. I don't like to fry it for too long so it retains a bit of a crunch.

I haven't tried them but I've heard that the Uncle Bens type Cauli Rice bags which are much more expensive are very smelly and obviously they have lots of other things added to them to make them stay fresh for longer.

Courgetti - Tesco £1 is ok but don't fry for too long as it goes watery. Needs using up quickly and IMO before best by date due to it going watery.

M&S is the same as the BNS ones - microwave in a bag and was grand.

I did get bought a spiralizer for xmas but haven't tried it yet and not sure what make it is. Will get it out of the cupboard one of these weeks.

    Hi Everyone,

I am glad to report a loss of -4lbs:j. After last weeks fiasco things seem back on track. Beg, I was like you last week. I felt I had to do the walk of shame and sit in the naughty corner. There's nothing worse then having to listen to others who have hit big numbers and claim to have been on the raz all week. Take this with a pinch of salt. They've either spent the rest of the week at the gym, been very lucky (it will probably catch up with them the next week), or there may be the odd porky or exaggeration there;).

For those that wish to know Tug had the all clear from his pathology on the tumour, so I am in a much better place this week. He's still running round on three legs, he's as mad as a box of frogs.:rotfl:

Shala - thanks for the chart, and well done all the losers, and as for those who are having a bad week, keep going.

  • Arkers - glad to hear Tugs doing better

Thanks for the chart Shala Well done for SOTW Belseyboop !:j

Well done to all the great losses coming in :j

Diet program was just ridiculous last night with the nose feeding and I thought the woman that was having it done looked better before the weight loss!

    Menu:

    B - Layered oats (heb)
L - eating out, if I'm good a jacket potato, if I'm naughty a panini
D - Thai beef salad with wild rice

The snacks I have will depend on what happens at lunch!

    Morning :)

Thanks for the chart Shala, well done Belsyboop for SOTW and Candyapple for hitting your target.

I actually got to see the diet programme last night as we didn't go out. There were some good results but I wouldn't go for the nasogastric tube one, it's a bit too much like the Cambridge diet in that you don't eat any actual food. That was the last in the series and they asked for volunteers for the next series - anyone fancy being publicly humiliated on TV? :rotfl:

Catch you later, have a good day everyone.

Congrats to everyone with losses, STS's and hugs to any gains.

    Have a lovely day everyone,
