Sending you a big, comforting hug, wiz. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh HurdyGurdy, hugs for you too; what a terrible experience for you all. I hope your daughter is on the mend now.

b_e_g, we love celeriac in the tiger household.

I am soooo jealous of your trip, Cheese; it sounds like you’re having a fabulous time.

    Hello again, Pennies.

Come on in, marcsshell – it’s fun and friendly here. Sounds like you should go and buy a lottery ticket this week!

Well done, Rebster, BettyBoof, Lois, New Me, marcsshell and HurdyGurdy.

Thanks, tweets and HurdyGurdy. Wise words, lantanna. I LOST 3lbs! Must be a catch up from last 2 STSs. However, no laurel resting - last weekend is waiting in the wings to ambush me!

Shopped today and 7 syns consumed and no more planned/desired.

    Anyway, here goes tomorrow’s menu.

    Pre Breakfast: banana
Breakfast: hexb porridge (made with water & salt), very little hexa milk,
Lunch: chicken pasta salad (red onion, spring onion, cucumber, green pepper, celery, cherry tomatoes), xl mayo (2)
Dinner: salmon steak, new potatoes, broccoli & asparagus, WW yogurt & mango
Snacks: wine gums (4) for the footie, if I remember to take them, WW cranberry & orange biscs (2 ½), Sainsbury’s BGTY chicken noodle cup-a-soup (3) to warm me up when we get home from Dundee.

2.5lb lost today. Would have liked a bit more but to be honest if I can do that every week I will be very happy.
Also won the raffle which was a little embarrassing as my daughter drew the ticket out:rotfl::rotfl:
I also won Slimmer of month :D Xx

3lb lost this week really pleased as I've had problems sleeping and it's been a difficult week. 7lb star award too :)

I need to be very very good the next few days as I'm away at the weekend so hoping it will all balance out.

Well done to you both on your fab losses :T:T:T

Thanks for the chart Shala :A. Congratulations BelsyBoop
    on SOTW :T:T:T

Thinking of withdrawing from this Challenge Shala after tonight's weigh in which resulted in a +3lb :eek::eek:. Absolutely gutted as I had had good week in my mind. I have quite a strop going on atm (poor DH ;)). My consultant has given me an SAS log to fill in (sabotage against slimming?). Bless her, she was totally gutted for me. When other members were telling me that they had got big losses after going out for meals/drinks/takeaways and the like I just wanted to punch them - that definitely was not what I wanted to hear. Oh well hopefully I will get up in a much better mood tomorrow. :)

Do what feels right BEG, just let me know and i'll delete you out...

Could it be anything else (other than food) that made you gain? water retention, hormones, 'clogging up' issues, lead lined shoes, did you leave some stones in your pockets???:D

I'm sure it's just a blip.. here's hoping next week your body behaves and the loss from this week catches up and then some!

I suppose it could be some water retention so going to try and drink more water as well as usual teas etc. I start off doing this and then go back to old habits. Not really affected with all the hormone stuff as I am past all that stuff ;). Usual loo issues but no worse than normal :o. Now the lead lined shoes and stones in pockets - that could be where I went wrong :rotfl:

OMG they are sticking tubes up peoples noses now on this diet programme. Bit better than last week's coffee enemas I suppose :rotfl:

Some great losses rolling in tonight. Well done all!:T

Sorry you're feeling , hang on in there and you'll get back on track.:A

Can those of you who have spiralisers recommend a brand? I was watching Mary Berry tonight and she was using one like a big pencil sharpener. I want something that ideally can go in the dishwasher and not take up too much space.

The fish parcels were a big hit. As I ended up in a hurry, I did savoury rice with them as no time for chips. So, briefly, white fish fillets spread with a mixture of ginger, garlic, chilli and lime juice. The I foraged in the fridge and put courgettes, mushrooms, asparagus and mange tout on top but you could use any veg to hand, pour over some soy sauce. All this in a parcel of foil which although carefully sealed needs to be big enough to have room on top to steam. I just baked them for the time the (frozen) fish said which was 25 mins.

Lovely snack this evening: multi grain melba toasts with blue light Laughing Cow and sliced cornichons. They'd be 1 syn each although I'm not counting the cheese as I've not had much milk today. I'm already planning tomorrow's snack as I've taken some YS smoked salmon scraps from the freezer.;)
  • Sounds nice maman I love the blue cheese LC!

Well done to betsyboop and candyapple on the SOTW and reaching target.

I'm sorry you were feeling rotten b-e-g but your comment 'I just wanted to punch them' made me laugh :rotfl: we've all been there!

We are having an amazing time greentiger real life seems very far away at the moment. I was wondering if you indulged in a wee burns supper?

    Some really good losses! :j
