Glad you enjoyed the pulled pork Mary, I forgot to take the pork out the freezer for tonight so I'll have to do mine tomorrow now
Instead we'll be having SW chicken tikka sauce with cauliflower rice, I'm dreading that as I can't bear cauliflower, but You have to try these things don't you :rotfl:
Hope everyone enjoys their synful days :j always nice to have a treat...
I had a cheeky weigh in this morning as I started my healthier eating last Saturday and I've lost 6.5lbs since then.. I will loosen the reins a little this week as it's not sustainable to be as strict as I've been doing but as a boost to weight loss it's been good.. I guess it's been a bit like SP for a week..
So meal plan for today EE
B - Apple, yogurt
L - courgette based pizza topped with cheese (hea), bacon, peppers, onion
T - SW tikka sauce, chicken, sweet pot bhajis, poppadum(2) left over veg that needs using up, cauliflower rice
S - milk in tea (2) nuts (heb)
Wow great loss! :j STS for meDebt free 2018
Wins for 2020: April - Flowers, Keyring0 -

no Crunchie for me today as it's an away game. Fortunately I'll be in the theatre with my phone switched off so will have to wait for the news. Anyone can beat MUFC can't they?? (Sorry tweets

Popping in to report a 2lb loss this week, making a total of 7lb over three weeks. Considering I had a very naughty weekend last week I am pleased with that.
I am having a reasonably naughty day today so won't advise of my meal plan - suffice to say that Saturday is the best day of the week for me!
I have also decided to change up the way I manage my Syns. I struggle to eat them - I am used to feeling deprived on a diet and still don't believe that if I have a permitted bar of chocolate or glass of wine I'll lose weight. It's a mindset I'm trying to get rid of! So anyway, I am going to start with 105 Syns and count backwards, starting today.
Have a great weekend everybody!I had to celebrate passing my first post grad module though... Also got a bit of January blues I think. Payday this week so that might cheer me up a bit too!
Congratulations on your first module. Id suggest you write yourself a meal plan and a shopping list (full of Speed;)) ready for when Pay day comes.
Thanks for the link to the Systema smedley. It seems worth getting one even if it's just for when you're pushed for time. Let us know how you get on with yours shala.
I've had a tiny SW breakfast (Puffed Wheat) and then like lioness, it's probably best that I keep quiet about the rest of the day. The plan is a pub lunch and an Italian dinner.:o0 -
I was thinking of buying a Davina Fitness DVD - something quick like her 7 minute one. Can anyone recommend one or report if they're worth it? I do cycle and walk the dog but want to tone up and get fitter. I don't have the time or money to attend the gym.0

Afternoon
Well done Shala, that's a brilliant loss in a week.
Mary hinge - red and green days are quite easy to do even though SW no longer provides info about them. The good thing about them is that you can have an extra HEB. The Syns Allowed Facebook page provides syn values for red and green although they won't be able to update them if recipes change.
Selement - well done for the result of your post grad module :T
Thanks for the links to the Sistema items Smedley, I have their soup cup and it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Right, DH and I are off out for a walk, so I'd better get my trainers on.
Have a good weekend everyone.

I love Davina's fitness DVDs, I have her High Energy 5 and Fit in 15 - both are a bit dusty though on my book shelf :rotfl: think I need to start exercising again! There's previews on youtube of a few of her dvds if you type in 'davina dvd' so you can see what you're getting before you buyAm liking the look of her smart carbs book as well.
I like charlotte's belly blitz dvd as the workouts are only 3 mins long by which point I'm normally lying on the floor with a red hot face0 -

:T that's a good loss lioness. I'm sure you know you don't have to feel deprived on SW but it's a difficult mindset to change. If it suits you better to have a day off plan and have what you like then it can work. Enjoy it!!

Thanks all, I remember doing red/green days when I did SW back in 2005!
Late start today.
B: Over night oats (B) aldi yoghurt (1) frozen raspberries
L: Sw burger in a wm roll (6) with cheese (A) and bacon with loads of salad. chopped up melonchicken stirfry with noodles and veggies, meringe with strawberries and flavoured quark (0.5)
Milk for teas (2) 1 aldi light bar (3)
A busy day of housework today and baking for the little Hinges.... must resist the cake mix!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

shala, you can use the 20 calorie rule for nakd bars as nothing free in them. So 7 syns for 135 calories. I haven't been impressed with any of their flavours, but I think it's more the texture than anything else. The crunch versions are slightly nicer.
Reporting a 3lb loss today - nearly at my next shiny! :j
Plan today...
Breakfast - Fruit and toast (B)
Lunch - Cheese salad (A)
Dinner - OUT!
Am flexisynning dinner as it's three courses and I'm going to enjoy it! But keeping other meals lighter than usual and not having any other syns today so I don't think it'll be too bad.0 -
Hello
Would love some advice please.
Lost 6lb first week 5lb second week, got weighed this morning and have gained 0.5lb. I have stuck to plan and wondering where I've gone wrong.
I have my healthy extras and used 12-15 Syns every day.
Anyone got any ideas on what I've done wrong?
Thank you0 -

First of all well done of such big losses. It took me something like a couple of months to lose 11lb as I only ever loss 0.5 or 1lb a week.
You probably haven't done anything wrong! Sometimes our bodies just seem to do their own thing:mad: and give us a gain when we're not expecting it. It also works the other way sometimes when you expect a gain and get a STS or a loss.
It may be hormonal (ie star week, as SW call it). Hopefully things will get back to normal next week. Just stick with it.
If you think it would help you could post up your meal plans as lots of us do and if we spot anything we can let you know.
