    Pleased for you beanie.:T

I did succumb to an ice cream but it was a very small tub;). As I only had a squirt of HP sauce all day as syns I'm OK. AND we walked about 3 miles as well.

    Pleased to meet you, Irrelev4nt.

Yippee! You can uncross your fingers now, beanie. BTW it’s very hard to eat anything with your fingers crossed!

Bet that peshwari naan was good, maman.

That’s brill, shala (hope you get good news about your mum) and mary.

I have the LMcC roro sausages quite regularly (the coop is my stockist) and I really don’t feel as if I’m missing out ever.

Oh thank you lantanna, for your wise words of comfort. That’s exactly what I did! Today my only syns went on some butter on the bread I had with my soup. I also found an apt quote for my word of the year, DETERMINATION: Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough. ~ Og Mandino

On to Friday – my really risky day (hoping to have the lunch with my friend that she postponed last week)

Breakfast: papaya and ML Greek luscious lemon yogurt ( ½ )
    Lunch: heaven knows!
Dinner: hm parsnip soup (it was a HUGE pot), fruit & yogurt
Snacks: to be decided, depending on how I behaved at lunch time.

    Good luck everyone.

I meant to say I now have a soup maker and I find it fab.
I get three very generous portions to go in my Simesta soup mugs or 4 smaller ones.
    Can highly recommend!

I do my soups in a slow cooker, mine holds 4 litres and has a soup setting too.
If I ever need to blend it down, I use a hand blender.
I am so lazy, throw it in and forget!

    Hi everyone :)
Reporting in with my weekly weigh-in. 1lb gone.
I'm happy with that as I'm maintaining now so a pound or two fluctuation is ok
    Happy Friday peeps! :)
  • Lantana - sorry to hear about your mum - hope the tests go alright and the results are not too scary - hugs.
  • Lantanna - hugs to you and your mum.

    Today:
breakfast: NAS Squash and peppermint tea...not actually hungry yet but once I am I will have my melon.
snack: 30g slice soreen malt loaf ( I even weighed it myself as I cut it from an unsliced loaf) 6syns I think
lunch: salad: lettuce, spinach, baby plum tomatoes, chicken breast prices (we've started buying bags of these frozen from asda and I just defrost some every couple of days for me an OH - really easy and tasty!) and a handful of pasta. is the Kraft fat free light French dressing still free/low syn??
tea: using up what we have in the freezer before payday:
can anyone help me with the sysn of asda southern fried chicken steaks? they are these ones:http://groceries.asda.com/product/breaded-chicken-turkey/asda-southern-fried-chicken-steaks/910000312342
will have mine with salad as I am going to go at lunch and buy some fresh bits seeing as I won't get to the shops tomorrow (visiting my dad whilst OH works then straight to another clubs training session!) and I won't get to a grocery store sunday (other than makro but we don't often buy fresh fruit/veg from there) or Monday before lunch (as I have the dreaded dentist first thing).

I am thinking of giving up sweets for a bit as I seem to have a post Christmas sweet tooth and adding an extra £1 a day to the bridal pot for everyday I manage! The money will then go on the presents for my mum and the flowergirls on our wedding day (personalised hangers, hair accessories etc for the girls and my mums make up will be done by the make up artist and she will have a few little presents too :) )
