    Hiya

Welcome to the new people and good luck with your goals.

Feeling really lazy today so its going to take some effort, but DH and I are going out for a walk later. There's definitely no excuse not to, the weather here has been lovely, unlike the UK. Hope everyone is coping with whatever's being thrown at you.

Had some lovely news yesterday - DS and his wife are expecting their 2nd baby in the summer :D so the knitting needles will be coming out. I brought a knitting project with me just in case so now I've got a reason to get on with it. Pity knitting isn't body magic! :rotfl:

Dinner today is going to be roast beef that I cooked and divided up into meal portions for the freezer, so I'll only need to cook vegetables and roast potatoes. I've kept to the ban on wine Syns since New Year's Day and I did say I wasn't having any for a week but I might break my promise and have some wine with dinner.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

    LL :)

What lovely news lois. One good thing about knitting is that it keeps your hands occupied so less likely to snack.:D

Hopefully you'll be back with us very soon beanie.

gbatey you're right about wiz. She rarely misses a day with her menu and her WI is Sunday morning. Hope all is OK wiz.:)

Weather is poor here but only wet and miserable not like in the flood areas fortunately. I won't be going out today though. Have been busy taking down all Christmas Decs. I'm glad to see the back of them. After a week or so it just feels like clutter. I got rid of a tin of chocolate biscuits with DD1 yesterday but the Celebrations keep calling me of an evening.:o Funny how satsumas don't have the same appeal.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: not sure probably soup
D: roast lamb, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, swede/carrot mash, cabbage
Syns: scrape of spread, gravy (and some extra syns as I won't be removing all fat and will be having some stuffing), weekend wine:D (back on the wagon tomorrow lois;))

Wiz last posted on the other thread on New Years Eve so it has been a while since she posted. Hope she's alright.

Wi with STS, lucky I guess what with the usual tummy issues :(

Woke up at stupid o'clock this morning, getting stressed about work. Not so much about tomorrow but Wednesday when I have to go to the unit with my 1-1. Worried the taxi won't turn up or that I will be expected to pay when its supposed to be contracted to the school. Not that anything was booked before the holidays so that's adding to the stress :(. Will find out tomorrow I suppose but not helping with my stress .

Good luck all those going back to work/already back. At least there will more regular meals being back in routine :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Happy New Year everyone :)

Pleased to say since going back on plan last Tuesday I've managed to stick to it - so optimistic for a good result tomorrow. Thanks for the new thread Shala - I'd like to set a target loss of 10lbs please. I didn't quite achieve this in the last challenge, but that was thanks to last minute gains at xmas - hopefully I can do it this time around!

Done a load of batch cooking today, so that should help keep me on track for a while. Was also happy because for the first time, my local Asda had some Jaffa Cake Alpen Lights in, which I've been wanting to try for ages! They also had some banoffee ones in, which I hadn't heard of but sounded tasty so I got some of them too! Also stocked up on muller lights thinking I was out (popped to Asda on way home after being away for weekend) - got home to discover I had quite a few in, so now got a fridge full of them!!

How dare you suggest we're muddling along!! but you're very welcome to join us on our carefully planned healthy eating programme.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do dip in and out of the thread as you wish but it often helps to post menus if you have time. What was it got in the way before? Do you want to set a target for the challenge?

Is there a very nosy smiley?;)
