Hiya
Happy New Year everyone, hope you had a great night doing whatever you like to do on NYE. DH and I ended up on the beach with a crowd of people, there was a bonfire although it was so mild we didn't need it to keep warm, and fireworks. We celebrated Spanish New Year, then an hour later we celebrated again for the UK.
Started the day today with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, toast and Buck's Fizz which is a family tradition on New Years Day, but that's the last alcoholic drink I'll have for a while, I'm going to have a week off, having overindulged over the Christmas period.
Hugs to anyone struggling with bad weather or floods in the UK, it's been a terrible winter for wind and rain, hope things improve for you soon.
Have a good day.

 welcome (or welcome back) to all you SW people.
I'm another who's craving a bit of normality tie. As it's Friday then I'll have my usual high syn weekend but then back to it on Monday proper.
I've still got one small portion of Christmas pudding to eat and then everything else left over DH can work his way through. I'm not planning to buy any sweet stuff for him hopefully for most of January.
We're scratching about a bit for meals as I've not shopped since 23rd other than milk. I'll do my meal plan later but hoping lots can come from freezer or cupboards to try and rein in spending a bit too.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast
L: lentil and veg soupburger, SW chips, fried onions, salad
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, 1 syn for burger, Christmas pudding? weekend wine:D0 -
Hello and happy new year everyone
Thanks shala for the shiny new thread and I'll aim for 7lb loss for this challenge please
I'm starting 2016 off loaded with cold  I was in bed by 7pm last night with a throbbing headache so missed all the fun of seeing in the new year. My wine that I planned to drink is still chilling in the fridge so I'm fancying that for tonight.
My sensitive teeth are playing me up something rotten today meaning I can't eat anything overly crunchy or chewy so I've not been on plan today either - having eaten mostly weetabix with hot milk, soft boiled eggs and bananas! I'm hoping to be right back on the SW wagon by Monday at the latest. Am getting an online shop delivered on Sunday so I'll spend tomorrow doing a meal plan, I'm excited to get back into eating properly though after the festivities. I'm sure the headaches and heartburn I've been getting are linked to the rubbish I've been stuffing my face with. I gained 3.5lb last week but hoping to get that off pretty quickly.
Have a good night everyone xx0 -
Happy New Year everybody :j:j
Shala could you put me down for -21 lbs please.
Yes, yes I know that is ridiculously ambitious but I have just realised that we're on holiday in 3 months and I wanted to be at target by them ( I do like a goal) and to be on target I have 2.5 stones to lose so...
Need to carry on with the eating but up the exercise I think!0 -
HI I'd like to join the gang if that's ok. I go to sw on Tuesdays so I'll count the 5th as my start point. I am going to say 14lbs for this challenge.
I have a lot to lose but have disability problems which makes it harder for me. I only just found that iceland do online shopping, with free delivery, so I'm going to make use of that when I'm laid up and can't really cook. If I find some energy from somewhere soon I'll try and do some batch cooking as well.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000
