Another one who had a bad day yesterday. Dear me something must have been in the water.................
I had ate about 15 syns of pure rubbish last night after having a massive row with my sister and my mother telling me she's caught my dad having an affair........again.
Least I stopped at the 15. I could have easily hit the wine too.
Not feeling it for weigh in, definitely wasn't as good this week as last, but I'll be going even though I have a banging head and swollen eyes from crying.
You would think when they are in their 70s your parents might behave, clearly not!! :mad:0 -
Good morning everyone,
Congrats Musogirl for SOTW. I contemplated whether to post this or not +2lbs. I have been quite upset with this. I have 2x days off plan and it has meant a pro-rata gain of 1lb per day. This has been worse then the Christmas and NY overindulgence for me. I have told myself to grow up and get on with it, but for some reason I'm really pi***d off with this.
Sorry for the rant, I have drawn the line and that's it:(.
Also, I have a poorly dogga log who had a toe amputated and a tumour removed yesterday. He's nearly 11 so I am very worried for him. Only animal lovers understand how much they become part of your family. I won't mention the vet's bill......ouch.
Arkers x
Good Morning
Arkers don't worry about the gain I think I would have had a bigger gain if my girl Poppy dog was ill like your boy. :grouphug: for you and your boy .
I understand fully how you are feeling about your boy and wish him well. I understand about them being part of the family . What breed is your boy please ?0 -

Hi Tweets,
My boy is a Jack Russell terrier called Tug, if you've had terriers then you'd understand the name:D. He's very handsome, and has the greatest character. My youngest DS is obsessed with him I thought the novelty would have worn off by now, but no. The love goes both ways, with Tug waiting for him at the window when he is due home from school. I always wonder how dogs can do this, it's that sixth sense.
Poor chap is in quite a bit of discomfort this morning, so he's having lots of extra cuddles, and chicken and rice for tea, so quite SW!
Thanks for your support.

Congrats musogirl for SOTW! :T Well done to everyone else posting losses. I weighed in this morning and lost 2.5lbs . I'm really pleased with that after a disappointing STS the week before. I'm finally moving in the right direction. Just got to keep it up now.
Sorry to everyone that's struggling. I am definitely one of those people who eats their feelings so I know how you feel. It's often hard to concentrate on a diet when there's loads of stress. I guess it's when one day at a time comes in.0 -
Arkers - I had a little Jack Russell, I loved her to bits. They are a great breed. She gave me many years of happiness. Tug is a lovely name. I love Jack Russells faces and their little expressions and mannerisms.
Mavers - That's exactly it, one day at the time for many at the minute. Get through one day half wisely and on to the next.
Each day is a battle but we will all get there.
I did want to eat more things last night, but stopped myself with the thought of what is getting fatter going to achieve, these problems will still be here and you'll be even fatter.
:rotfl:
I could go back to bed:rotfl:0 -
morning all. HAd a group last night and another -1 lb for me.
I'm a bit disappointed that I'm losing only a pound each week but I guess it is better than gaining!0 -
Hi everyone,
Thank you Shala for the chart and your hard work and HUGE congrats to Muso for SOTW.
Lantana well done for not hitting the wine, I would have. I know how you feel, I have a 'drama' family as well, you know what they say - you can pick your friends!!
I hope you can work out things with your sister. Big hugs!
Sorry to hear of your dog akers he sounds cute, waiting at the window for your so. To come home!
Well done on the early week losses rolling in!0 -
