Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Musogirl for SOTW.:T

Maman and BEG - we're here for 21 weeks so we passed the half way point at Christmas. The time flies by, but then the summer does the same and I always seem to be aiming to have lost weight by the end of one or the other!

Have a great week everyone - onwards and downwards.

  • I had a really bad day at work on Friday (to the point where I actually think I might be getting bullied by my boss), and then I just ate rubbish all weekend :( Now I'm not only annoyed at my treatment but also that I've let it get to me and it's sabotaged my weightloss :(
I haven't planned my meals for the week or been shopping or anything but I do have a lot in the freezer so should be ok.

    Today:
B - Mullerlight, passion fruit, apple
D - Bacon and lentil soup
T - Campfire stew (1 syn for Heck zesty chicken sausages), Tesco frozen sweet potato mash (syns?? 3 for the butter?), carrots, cauli and broccoli.
    HEA: Milk
    HEB: Alpen Lights
Syns: Sugar in coffee (3), TOTAL: 7.

    Tomorrow:
    B - Mullerlight and fruit
D - Something from the freezer
T - Something from the freezer

    :D
    Weightloss: 14.5/65lb

    :hello: Everyone,

I am also in the STS club as no weight loss to report,Feeling positive I can lose by next Monday so here's hoping,I am learning so much as I go along.
    well done Musogirl.
  • Only a 1lb loss loss this week, but I was expecting a gain, so I am happy enough with that.

Today has been horrible. I can't face eating first thing in the morning, and I was at the dentist at 10am (my usual "breakfast" time) enduring a huge filling in a wisdom tooth. I wasn't allowed to eat for three hours after wards, so I didn't have anything until about 2.30pm. I had overnight oats.

But I consoled myself by remembering that I had a lovely vegetable curry in the slow cooker to look forward to for dinner. Except when I opened the door this evening the stench was unbelievable. Not only did it not smell of curry, it had overcooked and burned. It was vile smelling.

Fortunately I freeze leftovers, so there was something in the freezer. But it wasn't the curry I had looked forward to so much.

Let's hope tomorrow is a better day.

And now I've had a moan, I will go back through today's posts for some inspirational chat :D

Sorry to hear that wiz. I think all you can do is a beanie and keep plodding on. I don't suppose it would do you much harm to just eat fruit if that's what you fancy but I wouldn't overdose on bread and butter though. Hopefully you'll manage a small bowl of soup:).

I snacked on cold pork and beetroot when I got home tonight and the 3 Melba toasts (1.5 syns) I had left in the packet. I'll definitely buy more of those.

    Good morning everyone,

Congrats Musogirl for SOTW. I contemplated whether to post this or not +2lbs. I have been quite upset with this. I have 2x days off plan and it has meant a pro-rata gain of 1lb per day. This has been worse then the Christmas and NY overindulgence for me. I have told myself to grow up and get on with it, but for some reason I'm really pi***d off with this.

Sorry for the rant, I have drawn the line and that's it:(.

Also, I have a poorly dogga log who had a toe amputated and a tumour removed yesterday. He's nearly 11 so I am very worried for him. Only animal lovers understand how much they become part of your family. I won't mention the vet's bill......ouch.

Thanks Shala for the chart and big well done to musogirl :)

Weighed in last night with a 0.5lb loss. I generally try to be of the mindset that any loss is a good thing, but it just feels like things are moving so slowly at the minute which is quite frustrating. I'm away on holiday for a few days next week which should be a nice break, and I'm thinking after that I may try and do SP for a while to try and give things a bit of a nudge!

    Morning :)

Hugs to all those who suffered the Blue Monday blues yesterday, hope everyone feels happier today.

Arkers - weight fluctuates all the time so it's quite likely that your gain was a result of that, not a direct correlation with having had 2 days off plan. Keep going, it will soon come off. Sorry to hear about your dog.

Tate - sorry to hear about your boss, do you have an HR dept? I would recommend having a chat with someone to air your concerns. Also, keep a record of events in case you end up in court (i.e. If you make a claim for wrongful dismissal further down the line).

Wiz - hope you get your appetite back soon. Or is it that you're bored with food? I get like that if I have something too often and I have to stop eating it for a few weeks until I have a fancy for it again. DH doesn't understand - he would quite happily eat the same things week after week.

Well done to everyone who managed a loss this week, let's all aim to be in the Loser's Club next week. :D

Have a great day. I'm off to a veg market to stock up on speed food.
