Hi everyone,
Hope everyone had a lovely weeekend, no snow here down in the south east, boo!! Would love a snow day!
Went completely off plan at the weekend as was with friends etc, too many vodkas, football and then boxing, meant a lot of naughty indulging. Despite this, somehow my first week on SW, I have managed a -2lb loss
I'm definitely staying on plan this week, although football tomorrow eve and Saturday, this is where I struggle to say no to a sauage roll or something to keep me warm.
Regarding overnight oats, I think they're lovely, proper enjoy them. If you do them properly, then they're delicious and filling.
Good luck everyone for this week, and well done for losses and STS!! :T:T:T0 -
No weigh-in for me this week as we've arranged a last minute mini-break to Devon for 3 days. I'm so looking forward to it, but I've done what I normally do and have started eating things I shouldn't as I know I'm not being weighed!!! Just trying to do my best, then will have 3 lovely days of eating and drinking and get back on track at the weekend!!0

A very non SW weekend - think I've only got about 10 syns to last until Wednesday!
I'm another who doesn't like overnight oats. I prefer them hot rather than cold anyway so usually make them with water with a Mullerlight stirred through with some fruit on top.
Today's plan:
B - porridge (HEB) made with water; mixed frozen fruit
L - pulled pork roll (5 syns); salad
D - sausages (1 syn - low fat ones from butchers 0.5 syn each), mash, veg. Might also do some onions.
HEA - milk
HEB - roll
Syns - sausages; white roll

Betty, I have a pair of NYDJ (found on a clearance rack) and honestly, any of the stretchy jeans that say they've got tummy control in them do much the same. I'm wearing the M&S "sculpt and lift" ones at the moment, I got this pair off eBay for about a tenner but even at full price they're much cheaper than the alternative!
muso, I'd be excited about the new fridge too. My dream is to one day have a kitchen big enough to fit one. Although my in-laws have a TINY kitchen and they put one in anyway. It takes up about half the wall and they don't care. :rotfl:
Today...
Breakfast - Arla, berries, grapenuts and a latte (0.5A, B1, 1.5 syns)
Lunch - Wrap pizza with ham, spinach, beetroot and goats cheese (0.5 A, B2)
Dinner - Spag bol using "boodles" instead of pasta
Pudding - syns!0 -
June - My kitchen itself isn't huge but it's part of a big open plan kitchen diner which has a completely free wall, so it's there. it's in now and looks nice and shiny. Another hour before I can turn it on!0

Hi everyone
I heard on the radio that today's supposed to be Blue Monday - as everyone's depressed that they've broken their resolutions or the christmas credit card bills are coming in or payday's still so far away! However I'm a happy bunny today, I no longer feel like I've got a ton of bricks resting on my chest stopping me from breathing. I'm still coughing up god knows what, but definitely on the mend :j
queen of cheap the first time I tried overnight oats I had to throw them away. I made them with natural yoghurt and they were just bleurgh. Lemon yoghurt with strawberries seems to be my favourite combination so far. They can take a bit of getting used to though as it's basically cold porridge which just sounds awful :rotfl: Have to agree with shala it does tend to look horrible but then the presentation of most of my food leaves a lot to be desired, masterchef I am not
I've been off tea and coffee now for a whole week, and I'm wondering if I should just kick the habit altogether. Have any of you lovely SW-ers stopped drinking caffeine and noticed any benefits? I've just not fancied cuppas while I've been poorly but have been drinking water and twinings fruity teas by the gallon. I definitely feel less bloated so maybe I'll continue with it
Well done everyone with losses so far this week :T
Have a great day everyone0 -
Hi anyone know what Fish Chips from a "taka-a-way" are synned at?
I believe there is a difference between dry looking the smeared in grease, fish and chips, I always go for the dry looking version for obvious reasons.
Potato and fish are both free, but they are both fried in this case!
The SW syn book mention "Chip Shop" Fish and Chips but these are a brand from Young's and not take away.
Small Chips
Medium Chips
Large Chips
Small Fish
Medium Fish
Large Fish
Well done to all the losers since my last post.
I enjoyed my Xmas break, I stuffed myself with a years worth of bad foods in a month, but with minimal weight gain.
I am really positive that the plateau barrier will be broken this time.
Thanks allSW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -

Stolen from a google search
Regular Chips (227g): 17½ Syns
Large Chips (340g): 26 Syns
Battered Fish, Small (120g): 10 Syns
Battered Fish, Average (180g): 15 Syns
Battered Fish, Large (225g): 19 Syns
But I think if you don't eat the batter the fish is free.0
