No snow (thank goodness) here in Somerset.

DH and I went for a lovely walk along the beach, but I walked a little (!) too far and am now feeling a bit broken. Oh well. I should get my Bronze Body Magic award this week, as I've actually managed to keep up enough (3 x 20 minute sessions on the exercise bike across the week and a beach walk of 30 mins to an hour on a weekend) to get it. It helps having the exercise bike in the lounge (the only place it could currently go - we're in a 1 bed flat until this time next month when our builders estimate we should be good to move into our 4 bed, 2 reception, mortgage free house!) so I can pedal away to crap afternoon TV!

    Today's food:

Brunch: Bacon, omelette, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato. Tassimo cappuccino (2.5 syns)
Post walk snack: Babybels (HEA), apple, 3 satsumas.
Dinner: Roast beef, yorkshire puddings (6 syns), roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, proper gravy (10 syns).
Snack: Hifi bars, more satsumas, yoghurt.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Afternoon all - hope everyone's staying warm with the snowy conds :).

Here's a question for a quiet Sunday - what do people who have several stone to lose do about clothes while they're shrinking? Do you buy a few new bits that then become too big as you continue to get smaller, wear the stuff that you've kept that used to fit you last time you were that size (even if its not really in style anymore), or be very MSE and wear your original clothes cinched in with a belt?

I think I have done a bit of all of these :D. Most new purchases I tend to restrict to Sainsburys/Asda type stuff which means that it is fairly up to date and not too bad a price especially with TU 25% off times. I also think Sainsburys clothing is a better fit than George - at least for my funny old shape ;). Things that have got too big for me have been eb*yed with quite a good success rate (especially the bigger stuff). The proceeds of this selling has been used to fund my new purchases - happy days ;).

Sorry not been on for a while. After a whopping 6lb loss last week and I got slimmer of the week. Lost 1.5lb this week and got my 3st award! Am so happy. :j

    Hope everyone is doing well.

Learnt how to do the weighing in at group yesterday, as I will be filling in next week. Seems quite easy....has anyone else here done this?

Great losses Abbafan and well done on the award :T:T:T. I do weighing at our group and quite enjoy it. If any of our members are due to an award I send them to the next desk where we have an 'awards lady'. Have only done the pay desk a couple of times a long time ago and could do with having a bit of a refresher in case I have to stand in any time. Apparently we are getting a card machine for paying. Not something that bothers me but I know quite a few people prefer to use card these days.

Well done to all the super losses that are rolling in - you are all amazing :T:T:T

The Hairy Bikers appeared on our menu again last night maman - they never fail to please with their steak :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Here's hoping we all have a good week.

I love snow – to look at or to walk in (in the countryside – just as well I live there then), but I hate to drive in it, which (because I live in aforementioned countryside) I have to do! Like beanie, we’ve had snow since Thursday.

Yup, BT tv game, maman - and it was dire for most of the time. But we are still 2nd Oh well, I’d have taken a point before we started. And I forgot my wine gums! I did look at the chocs when I was paying for my diesel, but I resisted!

Still felling fat, so not hopeful for tomorrow’s WI.

    Good effort, Abba and shrimpy.

    Monday’s Plan
    Pre- breakfast: banana
    Breakfast: fruit & yogurt (linessa 0.1% fat 2 ½ )
Lunch: meat salad sandwich (hexb), fruit
Dinner: chilli con carne with rice
    Snacks: to be decided

    Good luck, everyone.

Thanks for that Shala, that is very interesting and ticks a lot of boxes! Although I developed hay fever in my late 20s (pregnant via IVF) so that goes against the under 20 bit :rotfl:. Most of the other 'risk factors' fit though. Might get it checked out if it becomes more regular but at the moment its occasional.
    Thanks again :A

Oh and my IVF baby is 22 tomorrow
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
