I think you're on the telly so fingers crossed.:)

No snow here in the sunny south, but duller than yesterday.:(

Still energised by finally having lost a few more pounds rather than seesawing for the last month. Having family over for lunch so have large potatoes simmering in their skins ready to cool and skin for SW roasties . The hanger steak from butcher has been seared and is in the oven with stock , white wine vinegar, herbs and onions and mushrooms. I have matchstick carrots, mange tout, broccoli and peas to cook later.

You and DD did brilliantly elona. You seem to have such a good menu.

I don't pre-cook my roasties. Does it make a difference from peeling them first?

If you enjoy the hangar steak like that you'll love HB braised steak. Give it a try:drool:.

I made a WW jalfrezi in the end last night. Was more too our taste than the BBC recipe but I'm still searching.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: thinking soup but not had anything yet
D: roast pork (on carrots/onions/celery), roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, broccoli, cabbage
Syns: squirt of syrup, gravy, weekend wine

Will try hard to bin the crackling before I can eat any;).

Here's a question for a quiet Sunday - what do people who have several stone to lose do about clothes while they're shrinking? Do you buy a few new bits that then become too big as you continue to get smaller, wear the stuff that you've kept that used to fit you last time you were that size (even if its not really in style anymore), or be very MSE and wear your original clothes cinched in with a belt?

To start you off kaz (before I go off for my belated lunch), I tried to keep clothes buying to a minimum until I got to target. So I wore my 'old' clothes until they got ridiculously big (could take off trousers without opening them). Then I bought a few cheap essentials from places like Matalan, Asda etc. I also bought bits from the charity shops which I re-gifted after they got too big for me. Another bonus of the CS was that I tried out colours cheaply because previously I'd worn black from head to toe.

I buy new tops, but cheap ones like maman said. Because I have a large chest, I look really huge if I wear loose tops as they hang straight down. So I'd rather spend a few quid on a cheap one than not be happy when I look in the mirror. I have a very minimal wardrobe though, and not at all bothered about brand names, so it's not that expensive to replace the whole thing!

I do hang on to bottoms as long as possible though, as jeans that actually fit me well are pretty expensive by my standards. But because of that, I've also kept my smaller sizes as I knew the gain was temporary so I will switch to those as soon as they fit.

And I have no idea what's in style to know if I'm out of style. I really don't care about fashion. Luckily work in a field where it doesn't matter though, as it's mostly men in jeans and t-shirts. :rotfl:

    Well done Abba! :T

I'm on the social team for my group, so I've done both weigh and pay. Pay is definitely more complicated. Only thing with weigh is keeping track of any awards due, but the screen should tell you if you need to give any out.

Whilst I was doing it, there wasn't anyone with an award, but there were a lot of new members doing there initial weigh ins. The person training me did say that it will flash up on screen if they are due an award. I don't mind helping out, the more people that know how to do it the better, so someone can fill in at short notice if needed.
