Well done Sandhy, that's great!!!
Hopefully you see a better loss next week Tete.
The weekend started early last night and gin syns were consumed, no extra food though or unplanned eating so all good.0 -
Morning all!
Congrats to all the losers, especially beanie and sandhy!
Up at stupid o' clock this morning so I can leave work early to catch my train, checked OH's emails when I got to work and found out the train leaves 30 minutes later than he told me it did. So I'll be at the station a full hour early which is just my luck!
Debated whether to bring my oats in this morning, since I don't normally wash out the tub at work and I had half an omelette to eat too, but gave myself a "don't be so lazy" talking to so I'll go wash it up in a minute so it's not going mouldy over the weekend, and I've wrapped the omelette in foil to eat on the train. God knows what the food will be like for the rest of the weekend, OH says it's takeaway tonight, buffet food on sat and meal out on sun, so hopefully I won't do too much damage. I'm not tempted at all by unhealthy food at the moment, I really don't want to start triggering cravings.
Hope everyone has a good day, and keeps warm, it's a wee bit nippy out there!0 -
:jFantastic loss Beanie!
Third day back on plan for me today and I can already feel the benefitsSlept better last night (even with two wake up from littlie) and mood feels a lot more stable and energy levels more consistent
Sneaky weigh this morning as litllie pulled out my Tanita scales shows things moving in the right direction - bone mass back up (dropped a lot over the festive fortnight), hydration up and visceral fat (the gunk that collects around your organs) down half a litreNow to keep it headed that way!
Today so far:
breakfast: 30g bran flakes (HeB) with part HeA milk and a banana, large glass NAS squash (weak) and a peppermint tea
Plan as the day goes on:
mid morning: easy peeler
lunch: medium jacket potato, chicken, spinach, baby plum tomatoes, cucumber and baby beetroot, hard boiled egg
mid afternoon: apple, hard boiled egg
Tea: chicken - not sure what with yet. potential rice and sauce (5syn)
HeB: bran flakes - going to switch this up from tomorrow for a couple of days. try and keep the variety going
HeA: semi skimmed milk - I struggle to finish 250ml most days and usually switch this with cheese on days I don't have cereal/oats as a HeB
Drinks: regular tea, peppermint tea and NAS Squash************************************

Well done beanie and sandy! :j
Thanks for all the thoughts on eating times. I think I'm going to try not consuming all my syns in the evening and see if that brings any bigger losses. I usually have a large meal at about 5.30/6pm. Then about 7.30pm I have fat free Greek yoghurt, berries and sometimes syn free lemon curd and/or mini meringues. Then I follow that with popcorn, a kitkat and jelly in various combinations depending on what syns I have left. On an average day I probably eat about 12 of my syns in the evening after my main meal.
Yesterday afternoon saw a sudden stomach bug take hold. So didn't eat anything after lunch yesterday and probably won't eat much today, maybe some toast or a little pasta later if I'm feeling up to it. On the plus side, this might do my weigh in some favours!0 -
Wow Beanie! Absolutely brilliant - so pleased for you.
Today will be EE again:
B - toasted bacon & mushroom sandwich with brown sauce
L - HM veg soup
D - out at a local restaurant to use the vouchers I won in the Christmas raffle at group. It's fish night tonight but their website isn't good enough to work out what it's likely to be although a friend told me it isn't fish & chips!
HEA will be 1% milk
Have got plenty of fruit in for snacking on if needed.

Well done to Beanie and all the other losers so far this week. And big congrats to Sandy for reaching target!
I feel like I was falling off the wagon yesterday, the afternoon snack monster struck hard. I usually don't snack at all in the afternoon, except for maybe an apple if I'm a bit hungry before dinner. But when I logged everything down, it was an EE day with 10 syns. So really not bad at all! And a cheeky peek at the scales this morning (I know, I know) shows me down 2lb from last week. So fingers crossed it stays down for weigh in tomorrow.
Today's plan...
Breakfast - Weetabix, berries and coffee (A/B)
Lunch - Using up whatever's in the fridge :rotfl:
Dinner - Fish and veggies
Same as yesterday, will decide later if it's EE or SP depending on snacks!0 -
Fantastic result Beanie, and well done Sandyh on getting to target:T:T:T.
After a not so good result last week I've been filling in tracker and can clearly see why I got the result I did!!! Meals are pretty good, but Syns are sneaking out of control - eg a couple of slices of fruit bread took me 10 syns over on Monday and two extra bits of tray bake yesterday (as there were left overs after class - ahem), cheese on dinner (as had already had milk as HEA) and a snacky handful of cereal took me another 30 over yesterday :eek:. So line is drawn, aim for today is to rein in the syns and keep below 15!!!

Morning!
Congratulations to all the losers and a big CONGRATULATIONS to sandhy for reaching target! It's so inspirational to hear of people who've stuck with it and emerged triumphant. :T
Menu today:
Breakfast - Weetabix with milk (HEA &Can't wait for the weekend so I have time to cook bacon and eggs again!
Lunch - homemade carrot & butternut soup
Dinner - veg stir fry with noodles and sweet chilli (1 syn) ginger and soy sauce (I have had this meal three times this week I think but I love it! I change the veg to keep it interesting).
Snacks - carrot sticks, grapes & a satsuma
Syns - 2 x caramel rice cakes (4 syns) 16.5g bag of Quavers (4 syns) Saving some syns for tomorrow night.0
