  • Have done so well this week and have stuck to it well, and then my hormones have allowed me to find the left over xmas chocolate... Arghhhh!! Should have chucked it out as wouldn't have been tempted then. Have eaten half a chocolate orange.

Oh well onwards and upwards, next week I won't be hormonal or stressed out!! Defo need to conquer this emotional/hormonal eating thing I do.

Bloody left over xmas chocolate, although totally my own fault for scoffing it..

Well done, Maisie, mary, Denise, beanie (WOW!) and debjay.

Mixed up day today. Did well until ttime, then unexpected issues meant I wasn’t home from dgs until later than expected. DH had same issues with son’s family (who would believe it?). He had a meeting to go out to this evening so he brought home take away. But he did choose a curry – and only one between the two of us, so it wasn’t nearly as bad as it might have been (he usually chooses 2 fish suppers!)

    Friday
Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, poached egg on hexb toast
Lunch: out – I’m taking out my friend who has had Guillaine Barre syndrome – yippee – hope I manage to get her in and out of car ok.
    Dinner: chicken salad
    Snacks: mango, hexa cheese

Well, this morning I'm dancing around the room quietly so as not to wake the neighbours!

Done my weigh-in and delighted to report 2lb gone and target is reached!!!

It's taken 51 weeks (started 20th January last year) I wasn't really keeping a record at first as I was very disgruntled with myself. However, that's 5 stone and 2lb gone and my target of 10 stone is reached. Btw I'm 5'7" and female (last time I looked) :rotfl:

I even stood on the scales a second time to make sure. I usually only dare take the first reading lol

Not to be complacent I want to maintain this weight within a pound or two, so the next thing to think about will be keeping a balance.

I'm more of a lurker than a poster but I log in a do a catch up read though most days and I will continue to do the same.

Thanks to everyone for this thread for all your support. :grouphug: You have been wonderful  :lovethoug

Skips off to work with and happy hop skip and a jump lol :j
  • Well done Sandhy! To think you can change your whole life in just a year if you really focus is quite powerful.

A tiny 0.5lb loss for me this week Shala

    - really disappointed with that as, like I said last night, I've been really good this week. It can't all be due to that one Chinese last Saturday can it?! I've more than made up for it syn-wise since. I'm hoping it may be hormonal but no 'evidence' of that as yet.

Trying to respond with "I'm going to stay really on plan this week to spite the scales next time" rather than "Oh what's the point? *SCOFF*" :o
