Just because I have been on plan now from last Monday properly and I don't think I've lost. I felt like I'd lost last week and had been mostly on it and walked away with 1.5 lbs on. I lost over 6.7 stone and then put over 2 stone back on and I spent most of last year gaining that and then Xmas happened and I gained more. I didn't lose anything last year at all, just gained. Ended the year 25 lbs heavier than I started it. I tried after an operation in July to lose again but just couldn't seem too and had lengthy periods of sts. Just cudnt seem to lose.
So now its sort of make or break for me get back on it and start losing or continue gaining and return to my size 20 / 22 self. Just a bit worried tbh!
Sorry for such a long reply, but that's exactly how I feel. :(Last year was very frustrating as for one reason or other SW and I just didn't seem to get along or be able to get it together and I know we are at the last chance saloon here. :rotfl: If I can't get it together over the next month and start losing again and get below pre operation weight then I'l have to admit defeat and try something else or just give up in general and neither of those look like attractive options right now0 -

I can imagine you feel very frustratedDo you follow plan 100% or have you learnt "how to cheat it and get away with it?" over the last few years? Is it EE you do? do you stick with the same kind of meals or do you juggle it all up? mix up HE's? How many syns do you have a day? where are you with bodymagic?
can we help you in anyway?

Thanks, for a long time I stayed at target (although it wasn't my officially declared target) because I didn't realise I was there really and wanted to be thinner. Probably about 8 months.
Personally I find that I don't lose if I eat a lot of carbs. I also lost a lot of my weight by probably not eating enough overall so I would urge people not to do that as it is very easy to put it back on again if you return to eating more etc. I was also very very strict with myself and then I became more relaxed and things started to sneak back in.
I do count syns and Hea and Heab from the start of the year. Last year was a disaster, I did what I wanted, sort of half did it, did it for half the week not for the rest etc. Had full weekends full off etc just never really was able to get my motivation back etc. Started to comfort eat again and discovered a passion for anything covered in chocolate which I never did before.
I will see how I get on this month. Im giving it my best for the month of Jan and will see what happens.
I don't use all my syns everyday, I save syns for the weekends and I'm hoping I can do that again.
Some people can have their full 15 syns everyday on chocolate and crisps etc, I couldn't lose that way.
We are all different and have to find what works for us I guess.
I will report back in the morning, but thanks for asking. One thing is for sure every single one of us knows just how tough this is xx
Good luck to all weighing tonight0 -
Maman - I will have nightmares about that tonight! :rotfl:0

You could be me! I spent the whole of 2015 doing that - endlessly talking about SW, thinking about it but not really committing then getting cross because I wasn't losing (was, in fact, gaining).
I am really committed this time and have accepted this has to be for life - not five days a week!
Best of luck at class!0 -
Was feeling peckish this afternoon so ended up with a couple of cooked chicken thighs, cornichons, pickled onions & beetroot - really enjoyed it. It was either that or eating some of the choc which is in the fridge and I didn't want to do that as I'm trying not to have syns today.

any product which lists 'anal leakage' as a potential side effect is not for the faint heartedI know it's not endorsed by SW, but that's not to say it doesn't have a place. Has anyone used this with successful results?
I've used Alli, I never had any tummy or bum bum issues:p... I think I even ate chip shop chips whilst on it and had no issues, although in the main I ate quite healthy.
Personally, now I've tried them, I think they're pointless. If you are eating healthily as instructed then that's the reason you're losing weight not the tablets. SW is a low fat diet anyway so there wouldn't be much fat to stop being absorbed..I have proper butterflies for class, dreading it tbh!
Good luck, i'm sure you'll be fine. Once you get that first loss you'll be on a roll
Maman, if someone gave me a choice between looking like Katie Price and like I do now, i'd pick Katie  big boobs and flat tummy over big boobs and big tummy any day!! :rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
-2.5 loss
Hi, another loss for me. Sorry it isn't large font in on my mobile, will try and up date later.Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
Sneaking in to confess my syns lol. OH pretty much finished a protect that's been stressing him out for 4 months today so we went out for a cheeky nandos to celebrate. I went with 1/2 chicken, corn on the cob (with butter lol) and spicy rice. Plus 2 chips, half a pitta bread with red pepper dip and a vodka and diet coke. Could have been worse, could have been better but I'm flexing it and leaving it at that.
Re: alli. It's really geeky but during my chemistry degree we spent a whole semester learning the synthesis of orlisat (the active ingredient) which has about 30 steps so everytime I see it advertised i shudder at the memory, and that's before I start thinking about the anal leakage lol!0
