  • So - as I am new joining today, please tell me if I am "over posting" or "over sharing". I don't want to unlease a whole loads of rolled eyes every time my name appears :rotfl::rotfl:

I have had a good day today

Breakfast was overnight oats (HEB) with summer fruits and a cherry yogurt

Lunch was a ham and boiled egg salad (without dressing, cos I forgot to take it to work with me) and a fruit salad

Mid afternoon, I had a Nescafe Cafe Style Skinny Latte (3.5 syns)

Dinner was Cheesy Vegetable Pasta Bake, free, using cheese as HEA, and a slice of garlic bread for 5 syns. A new recipe me for me (do we share recipes on the thread, or is there somewhere else to do that?)

So, 8.5 syns so far, leaving a bit of wiggle room if I get the munchies later :)

Shala - thank you for correcting me on my hoped for loss. Maths and I have NEVER been good friends :). Leave it as I put this morning, and I will just have to work harder :)

Evening all :) Just been catching up on all the weekend posts - I seem to manage to keep up during the week but then fall behind at the weekend!

Congrats to all the losers - I'll be weighing in tonight so fingers crossed I join you.

Went to Aldi tonight to get my shopping in for the week and ended up indulging in a bottle of choc shots - no idea what I'm going to use them for but couldn't resist :o

NSV - been buying some clothes for my upcoming holiday and have been buying a size smaller than I would have been not long ago (2 sizes smaller than a bit longer ago!). Definitely think I'll give that bra fitting guide a go next time I'm after some new bras.

Next thing I want to try and do is incorporate some exercise into my life somehow. I passed my driving test last year and since then I've become a lot more stationary!!

Feel free to post as often as you want or need to. There isn't a limit:D.

You can certainly post recipes on here. There are links to some SW recipes in the first couple of posts. Some are quite old and some are newer. If you post a recipe it will get added to the list of new recipes.

    Hi all

meg sorry to hear about your alarming visit to hospital. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of it soon. Glad you had a nice time in Southport.

beg congratulations on your DS engagement. Sounds exciting - mother of the groom.

shala I totally feel your pain re the fitbit going through the washing machine. I have frequently popped my clothes in the laundry box and then been in bed and remembered the fitbit is still strapped to my bra.

Congrats to all of the losers and welcome to the new joiners, returnees etc.

My weekend was not great SW wise but hopefully I will have lost something when I weigh in tomorrow.

    Today's plan was:
breakfast: french toast and satsuma, DG coffee (2 syns)
lunch: spiced carrot soup, mixed forest fruit and yoghurt, SW choc n orange bar (3 syns).
dinner: SW ready meal salmon pasta
May have some cheese later as not had my HeA but not sure what I will have it with as had my HeB already.

tomorrow I am planning on having:
Breakfast: omlette with ham, mushroom and tomatoes
lunch: Scotch broth, yoghurt and forest fruits
dinner: SW burger with cheese, roll, Salad

    Congratulations all!

    Another SP day today.

Brunch: Bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms. Tassimo cappuccino - 2.5 syns
Snack: Hifi bars (HEB), iceland meatballs, cheese (HEA), apple, satsumas.
Dinner: Tuna steak, kale, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots. Mint sauce (2 syns) - am I the only person who likes mint sauce with fish?
    Snack: Hifi bars.

I'm going to Krispy Kreme with some friends tomorrow but shall only have one donut - not sure which one yet, but I'm OK syns wise for the week.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

    Breakfast: banana
Lunch: 2 X LMcC roro sausages, egg & tomatoes
Dinner: bubble & squeak, bacon, beetroot (match is off again, boo)

    Have a good day, everyone.

Not much to shout about tonight after weigh in - 0.5lb loss shala :(. Hope I would have eroded last week's gain by more than that but hey ho.

Well done to our latest round of fantastic losers. :T There were brilliant loses rolling in at class tonight - not that I was jealous you understand :p:rotfl:

Welcome to all our latest new people too. :hello:

Thanks for all the hard work you have done shala in producing our chart. You are a star :A

Congratulations Candyapple on being SOTW :T:T:T. Hope you are feeling better now.

Very cold day here today and was very frosty when I got home tonight. On the bright side - we haven't had many spots of rain :j

Hope you all have a good week.

    Congratulations on SOTW Candyapple! :j:j:j

And thanks for doing the chart Shala, mammoth effort! :T

If anyone is thinking of trying the Aldi own version quorn, don't do it! It is genuinely the worst thing I have ever eaten :( I didn't check if it was free but I refuse to use any syns on it, it was so cack!! That will teach me for forgetting to take meat out of the freezer!

I went to the gym yesterday afternoon and there was a blind lady there, she was being assisted from machine to machine etc. I thought fair play to her really inspired me and gave me a little push.

Wow, good for her. I'm so shallow, if I couldn't see my reflection in the mirror (or worse, photos) then I don't think I'd bother losing weight!

I didn't realise that's how it works, I've been doing it wrong :p Proper Quorn is on offer at £1.40 in Tesco at the mo, half price apparently? I never normally buy it but the 5% mince seems so much more expensive than the rest, I bought it to pad that out.

What's with all the quinoa bashing? I love it! :o

Committed - well done on getting the first parkrun of the year under your belt! Ours is really flooded at the moment so I chickened out on Saturday and scanned barcodes :o Sorry to hear about your Gran, make sure you celebrate her birthday well.

Well done to Candyapple and all the other losers!

I circled that new diet prog (can't remember who mentioned it) in the TV mag on Saturday then forgot to tape it, so have hastily found a repeat to record. Sounds interesting.

Well I did my yoga class tonight, I'm such a plank, so inflexible! But feel good for it now and about to get into bed.

    Today:
    B - Mullerlight and 2x passionfruit
D - Couscous and speedy beef bolognese, banana
T - Lentil and bacon soup
    HEA - Milk in coffee
    HEB - 2x Alpen Light
Syns - Sugar in coffee (2), Hot choc (2)
    TOTAL: 4
(I realise this should be higher but in light of the weekend's excesses I think it's probably for the best today!)

    Tomorrow:
    B - Mullerlight and fruit
D - Chicken and veg soup, bread
    T - Cowboy hotpot

Right my bed is really calling me, night all!
