Maman - I've got that curry on my meal planner for the week. Was there anything that you can particularly say was wrong with it so I can tweak?! Going to try the fish stew from the mag too.
Shala - I use lasagne sheets. It's this recipe that I found on pinterest that they've called enchiladas so I made my own take on it!
http://slimmingworlddelights.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/chicken-enchiladas.html?m=1
I don't bother with the chipotle paste or the additional cheese and yoghurt. I also reduced the amount of chorizo to 100g which I find to be plenty.
Menu today was -
B - sausage (1) bacon, beans, toast (heb), scrambled egg ( no speed as tomatoes were bad!)
L - Spicy lentil soup
S - Florentine (10)
D - Bacon and butternut squash risotto (hea), ff greek yoghurt, berries, meringues (2), syn free lemon curd
E - popcorn (2), clementine0 -
Oh tie, that's an awful catalogue of events. Any chance you could try and change your job to something less stressful?
Probably but then I'd have all the anxiety and stress of the job switch, better the devil you know sometimes
.
Hopefully it will settle down! I just worry about the taxi not turning up and the fact it costs so much! I feel guilty even though it's the school that needs me there. My head is hoping someone who also goes there will be able to give me a lift, that may be possible for one day but then I'd be worried about her not turning up or if she's ill what then? Would be so much better if I drove but that's not happening :rotfl:
Hopefully hubby can take me this week although his shifts keep getting messed about too .Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Sorry I haven't had much time to post as things have been a bit stressy atm. I have been trying to keep up with reading all the posts though.
Really impressed with the whopping losses that are rolling in - well done everyone :T
Hope you are sorted healthwise soon meg - how worrying it must have been for you. There was me thinking you were partying away in Southport - sorry. I think maman is correct re the adjusting targets (lower by 7lbs) but and please don't quote me on this - I think it could be at the consultants discretion also
. It could depend on individual circumstances.
Pleased to say that I have stayed on the SW bus all week - whether I will be rewarded tomorrow night - we shall have to wait and see. Would love to shift last weeks 2.5 gain plus a bit but I think that is a bit of a big ask.
Oh forgot to say our bit of good news from earlier this week - DS proposed to his gf while they were away on holiday

Meg  I thought you were off living it up too! Sorry to hear you've been poorly, but glad you had a brilliant Xmas and New Year! Surely SW let you off if you've been really poorly and stuck in hospital.. everyone must lose weight eating hospital food!
TIE - big hugs, hope you can find something to deal with your anxiety. I have been going through it a little over Xmas, not anywhere as bad as your situation though so I can sympathise.. xx
Thanks for the recipe link musogirlhave to try that with a few tweaks..

:T:T when's the wedding, because i'll need to get a hat
Did our 4.5 mile walk earlier :T:T lunch wasn't the best so i'm in a food mood. Came home put all my clothes in the wash, including my fitbit  so even more in a mood now!! I then completely forgot it was in the wash and put it in the tumble dryer for 5 minutes before I remembered  I give up with myself sometimes.
It's currently sitting in a bowl of rice to dry out, seems to still be working thankfully and amazingly it's counted all the turns in the washing machine as steps :rotfl::rotfl: so I've done loads today!
Right off to shellac my nails so I feel prettyxx

What I didn't like was it wasn't spicy enough so maybe use hot curry powder instead of medium, didn't like the texture of the lentils and it all felt a bit like mush but that maybe because I used ready cubed lamb instead of cutting up steaks.TakeItEazy wrote: »Hopefully it will settle down! You really shouldn't worry yourself about that. You give enough to your school, the least they can do is pick up the tab. If a lift materialises and it suits you then fine but do try to stop worrying.blue_eyed_girl wrote: »Sorry I haven't had much time to post as things have been a bit stressy atm.
Hope all is OK with you and your mum. Great news about the forthcoming wedding. How soon can we start planning your outfit?:D0 -

Loving it!!:rotfl:
I'm feeling really bloated now after my enormous dinner but it'll pass. It will! It will!0 -
:rotfl: to the Fitbit saga Shala, glad it seems to be OK!
Hugs to Meg and TIEand congrats to all losers and BEG for your news!
I'll be finishing the day on 19 syns in the end  - the flaming soup I'd planned for my tea needs to simmer for an hour and a half which I only realised after starting to make it at 7.30. So I stuck a Pasta n Sauce in the microwave and it exploded all over the place and burned my tongue AND it isn't even that nice
I'm presuming that although the stuff in the packet is free, you have to syn the milk and butter?
I've also drunk a heck of a lot of coffee as I've been sorting out lots of housy paperwork this aft, so loads of syns there as well. Argh.
Well, onwards. My terrible weekend should spur me on to stick to plan all week. Serious case of the Sunday Night Blues though - I really could do with three-day weekends being a thing - one day to run errands, one day to go out and about, and one day to relax. (Can't believe I'm complaining about work-life balance after two years as a teacher!I'm sure it'll calm down once I've got the house running smoothly).
Plan for tomorrow:
B- Mullerlight and passionfruit
D- Speedy bolognese and couscous
T- Lentil and bacon soup
Also got my first yoga class tomorrow night - Ommmm!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
