    Good morning everyone,

Unfortunately, +1.1/4lbs on for me please. Confession time, it was my birthday and had meals out and too much fizz of the alcohol kind. I now have 7 lbs to lose before going away at the end of May. I will have to try.

Slinking back in. Had Saturday off plan and then struggled to get back on plan. So have found going off really doesn't work for me, just triggers wanting all the food. :rotfl: Back on it today though! Weighing in early this week so not expecting a great result, aiming to pull a maintain to keep my shiny.

Shala, I go in phases with green tea as I don't like it that much. Can't say I've noticed any difference in weight loss with or without it.

I don't know if you can backdate Countdowns but maybe someone who helps at a group will come on and answer. You shouldn't have a problem with a block holiday booking though as SW is supposed to accommodate various work patterns.

I didn't see the original question so answering based off this as I don't think anyone else has yet...

Countdowns can't be backdated, or bought in advance. You can only buy them the week you want them to start. Holidays need to be booked in advance as you can't add them during a countdown. Block bookings aren't a problem as long as you're within your allowance of 6 weeks a year. Your year is based off when you joined, not the calendar year. If you're taking holidays due to work though, ask to be set as a shift worker as these then won't come out of your allowance and you're still eligible for SOTW awards as it averages out your losses over your non-shift weeks. I knew about the shift work allowances but only found out about the awards bit a couple of weeks ago!

To further complicate things, anything to do with holidays and countdowns can only be done at your registered group. Visiting members always get quite frustrated when I can't change things on their account, but my options are very limited for them! But once you're on a countdown (or just paying week to week without wanting to make any account changes) you're free to visit any group you like to weigh in if you can't make your usual group.

Thank you for your detailed answer June - it was me that asked the original question and that's really helpful.

    Morning all :)

Thanks for the post Shala and well done Arkers for SOTW. :T

I'm off to class soon and tomorrow I've got an appointment for a routine health check with the Practice Nurse when I expect I'll have to weigh in again - at least I'll be less than last year, although not by as much as I'd like.

Great result Beg - I can't believe you can still lose 2lbs in a week when you've lost so much already. :j Does that mean the scales now say 10 something? :T

Have a good day everyone - try to keep warm (I've got scarf and fingerless gloves on in the shop and I'm still cold!)

I don't know if it's just something my consultant does but it is possible to buy a countdown in advance, she "sells" a voucher which kicks in once a current countdown finishes; it's usually when there's an offer of a Free book that people tend to buy these!

    Having a SP day today:

B - scrambled eggs on 2 crustless WM bread; apple
L - carrot & lentil soup; 3rd slice of WM bread
D - beef stew; syns for red wine
S - Ryvita; minty pea dip; crudities

    Syns: red wine

HEA will be milk as usual.

Hi everyone, sorry don't have time to keep up with the thread but hope everyone's well and feeling positive! The current challenge is almost coming to an end and I hope you've all done better than I have, I've completely lost the plot. I know I've gained and lost the same few over and over. Gah.

Feeling good about this week though so far. Finished yesterday on 5.5 Syns which is my lowest for ages. Plan for today is a very early lunch (due to work) of SW sausages, scrambled egg, tomatoes and mushrooms then tea will be spaghetti and meatballs. I snuck on the scales this morning and it's looking promising if I can keep this up!

Will post again tonight with full menu, have a great day all!

Oh no can't believe I was SOTW! I feel a real fraud having put most of that loss back on. It was my birthday, so please accept my excuse and confession!

It has motivated me to try harder this week!

Yup, sorry - I didn't mention vouchers. What I meant was you can't buy it through the system and add it on to the end of your current countdown automatically, or choose a specific date for it to start. Although my consultant is rubbish at ordering the vouchers in from head office, so I very rarely sell them!

My consultant doesn't necessarily bother with the actual vouchers she just uses slips of paper! It seems to work OK.

Update to my menu - meant to say we'd have the beef stew with mashed celeriac instead of the usual potato to up the speed a bit more:A.
