    Hi again :)

Shala - I forgot to weigh myself this morning, so that's it for me with this challenge. From next week I'll use the result of my weigh in at class, which is on Tuesdays. If by any (very unlikely) chance I've lost weight when I go tomorrow, I'll use that for the start of the new challenge next week, if that works for you. Let us know when you want targets for the new challenge. Regarding a name, how about 'Get beach ready with Slimming World'?

Drinking green tea at the moment as it's meant to be beneficial to weight loss and it gets more water into me, bought the cherry bakewell flavour which is actually [STRIKE]quite nice[/STRIKE] drinkable.

I've been drinking black earl grey tea to cut my milk intake, not sure if there's any other advantage. I've tried green tea before but never got to like it, but I didn't realise you can get flavoured ones. I might give it another try.

Lantanna - sorry to hear about your man troubles. Hope your Aunt starts to improve soon. I tend not to read light and amusing books, I go for crime novels. When I am in the mood for something less gruesome I like Marion Keyes or Sophie Kinsella.

What new syn values would they be then lois?

On a similar note, I was reading through an old magazine (May/June 2015) about a woman who'd lost 12 stone and she was snacking on cherries, kiwis and grapes. So whatever the advice, there is an element of if it worked before it'll still work (although obviously not for processed foods where recipes have changed).

Been trying on my holiday clothes this morning and everything I've kept from last year fits.:j So that's a NSV for me.

LOL @ wine syns. I'm completing food diaries as a new member so I'm trying to be honest, although only 1 glass has actually been entered!

When I think back to my early days with SW - 15 years ago  - EE hadn't been thought of, Green days were still quite new and a lot of foods that have syns now we're free. I sometimes think I should have kept my original starter pack and stuck to that plan, it worked then.

Well done for your NSV. :T:T

I still do a few Green days but not very often as DH is definitely a carnivore and there's not that many veggie meals he likes!

You did post it! I read this post and thought it was familiar so scrolled back to check, was posted at 7.36pm :D.
This happened to me the other day, had posted the night before but when I turned iPad on the next day the post was still there as if not posted? Scrolled back and it was there! Weird

I don't know what all that was about TIE - think gremlins must have crawled into my laptop :rotfl:

I tried the normal green tea many years ago _pale_ and I wasn't really looking forward to trying this one but they're a lot sweeter/flavoursome than before. I'm going to try the ginger one next as I love ginger!

    Chart time!!

SOTW* is.... :T:j:TARKERS:T:j:T with a loss of 2.0lbs!!

    Congratulations!

    second go at posting

I've been mia the last few days so I've just had a quick skim through.

Pleased to see losses continue to roll in and shala continues to maintain that busy chart for us. Well done losers.

all those stories about successful weight loss journeys are so interesting; we don't acknowledge or celebrate our target stars enough - well done all of you.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time just now, lantanna, and that your man isn't helping.

maman, yes that was a much treasured point on Saturday; fed up giving 2 goals of a start. We are struggling for defenders and had a midfielder at right back, plus 3 players were all carrying injuries. Fingers crossed for Saturday, a win will pretty much guarantee second place and therefore a week's rest before the play off semi finals. If we're 3rd we'll have to play next week. I don't think we'd get through 6 games, 4 will be hard enough.

As to me, I can finally report a loss - 2.6lbs to be precise. Don't quite know how that happened as I'd almost given up last week. Of course, it's the last week of the challenge, lol, so I'm bound to put weight on next week, when it's a fresh start. I'll do my best not to fulfil that prophesy.

    Monday
    Pre- breakfast: banana
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water & salt, a little milk
    Snack: hobnob (3.5)
Lunch: baked potato, baked beans, salad mixed leaves, cucumber, syboes, cherry tomatoes), ML cherry yogurt
Dinner: Bird's Eye Inspiration cod with sea salt & rosemary crust (7.5), baby new potatoes (1), green beans, beetroot
Snack: grapes and hexa mini babybel light

    Good luck, friends.
