Hi all, hope everyone's having a good weekend :) Here to confess a very off plan evening last night - had an Indian takeaway followed by sweets. Very tasty, tummy hurt a bit afterwards though! Didn't have any other syns yesterday, so hoping it doesn't throw me off track too much. Planning to do SP from today until Thursday as well so that should make up for last night. Got a beef casserole in the slow cooker and some cottage pies prepared and ready to go in the oven (carrot and swede topping), so feeling prepared for the week ahead :)

Have decided to go back to my usual way of using syns mainly at weekend and reduce during the week to see if that helps with losing a bit!

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
L - smoked haddock souffl! with salad
D - chicken tray bake; splash of gravy

    HEA - milk
HEB - have had 1 slice of crustless WM bread so far, may have another couple of slices later either as toast or with marmite or a couple of Ryvita & butter

    Syns - weekend wine:D

Well done to the shiney's, and well done other losers :T

10 years TIE? Wow.. that must make you proud. So many people fall back to their old ways.. how much did you have to lose in the first place? and what made you think - "that's it i'm losing weight" (if that's not too nosey :D) Same questions to you really maman, Denise, tweets and any other targeters, i'm always interested to know people's back stories.. it helps to motivate, one day we can all get there too!

We tend to celebrate everyone losing weight each week, but we don't often celebrate you guys so well done and congratulations on maintaining :T:T:j:j:T:T you're all an inspiration!!

Really struggling not to order takeaway here the last few days :o but we've managed it, had a lovely text off my consultant the other day (never had such an involved consultant before) so I don't want to let her down this week.

    Menu for today then, EE
    B - apple, yogurt (0.5)
L - cottage pie jacket potatoes, cheese (hea)
T - chicken and sausage one pot (1) roasted veg (BNS, onion, peppers, sweet potato) broccoli
    S - crisps (4.5) 2 x alpen light (heb) quark, coconut meringues (6 for 3 syns), orange

    xx
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Congratulations to all of today's losers and shiney-getters :T:T:T.

Good point Shala I think our Targeteers deserves some of these too :T:T:T.

If you like takeaways Shala - have you seen the SW fakeaway cookbook - it may help :D

Have been to a food festival today and omg the temptations that surround me  and that was on top of a friend's 21st party last night. Didn't go too mad at party but did have some nibbles plus nicked the salady garnish stuff to try and fill up my plate ;) and decided to drive so was safe there. :D

Hope everyone has a good week and gets the results they are hoping for.

I started SW in July 2010 after a bout of severe depression and was at my highest weight of 9st 4lb - not as high as a lot of people but was verging on a size 14 and being 5' 0 1/2" felt too fat. Before kids I was only 6st 7lb!

Lost 1st 7lb over a period of about 10 months to get to target then got told by my GP to put some weight back on and she didn't want me to be below 8 stone so had to reset my target and after speaking to me consultant reset my target at 8st 5lb so if I dropped out of bottom end I'd still be above the 8 stone mark.

Currently in a size 10/12 and it seems to suit me (bearing in mind I'm mid 60s now!).

I've been at my new target for nearly 5 years now but still finding it difficult to get to bottom end. Seem to stay near the top end most of the time - currently just 0.5lb below top end!.

Still trying to lose a bit before going on holiday mid June!

    OK, my turn!;)

I've been slim all my adult life. Then I got promotion in my job and spent even more time in meetings, sat around in front of a screen more, worked even longer hours which led to missed meals (grabbing stuff like pasties, crisps and pork pies in petrol stations on the way to meetings) and the worse thing of the lot rewarding myself with wine when I eventually got home of an evening. I slowly crept up over ten years from a 10/12 to a 14 then a 16 and when I was finally bursting out of those I flatly refused to by a size 18. I had about 3.5 stone to lose, joined SW the last week of September 2010 and by the scenic route got to target in the middle of August 2011. I'm now back to the slim 10/12 I always was and I intend to keep it that way.:D

What's the difference between the food directory and snacks / free book?

Not sure as not had either; but think the food directory shows the syn values of branded goods from supermarkets.

Personally don't think you really need those sort of books as you can find syn values from the SW website if you're a member or can ask on this thread and someone will check for you. There are also other websites where you can check syn values such as Syns Allowed.

    Why buy unnecessary books?
