Really disappointed to report that I STS this week so am still 1 lb away from my 2 1/2 stone. Going to keep a closer eye on my syns this week so hopefully it'll be gone next week.
How many more weeks are there on the current challenge? We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Morning all
I've lost the plot this week, I really don't know what's wrong with me  I think the weekend away started the downhill slide and I haven't got back on track again. Today is definitely Day One though and no wine syns this weekend as I've already gone over my syns for the week. I've been in a proper grump this week too, a few things that have happened since we opened the shop that have been getting me down and I just want to eat everything in sight.
I had a green day yesterday, I think I was rebelling against speed food! Breakfast was cereals, veggie sausages, scrambled eggs and tomatoes for lunch, and JP with beans and cheese for dinner, using cheese as HEB2. Then spent the whole evening with pains in the stomach (beans have that affect on me sometimes). Will definitely be including more speed today.Or why are grapes free but wine is not!!:rotfl:
Love it!
Shala - Happy Anniversary for the other day, glad you enjoyed your celebration dinner.Really disappointed to report that I STS this week so am still 1 lb away from my 2 1/2 stone. Going to keep a closer eye on my syns this week so hopefully it'll be gone next week.
I know how you feel, I've been on the brink of losing 3 stone for so long! A STS is better than a gain, and it sounds like you're in the right state of mind to get to 2.5stone soon. How many more weeks are there on the current challenge?
I think it lasts until the end of April.Hi, could I join again please as I love this forum and SW! Have been on this thread before but fell off the wagon and unfortunately put all the weight back on that I had lost. Rejoined last week with governments NEWYOU scheme where for £49.50 your membership is paid and 12 weeks subscriptions. Rejoined with DIL so we are keeping each other on track, hopefully. I lost 4.5 last week and she lost 5.5 so very pleased with that..
Welcome the the thread Sandypan. Well done on your loss last week. I wasn't aware of the NEWYOU offer - I completed the questionnaire back in February and got the advice to lose weight and exercise more but didn't see any mention of that, I'll have to check it out.
Right, better stop typing now, this is starting to look like War and Peace!
Have a good day everyone.

ETA p.s. I saw a recipe for syn free rice pudding using diet cream soda and vanilla yogurt so I made some yesterday - it was awful and went in the bin. I read more about it later and apparently it's a tweak, so not actually syn free.Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Good idea to start again from Day 1. We can't undo the past lois. Hope today goes well and many apologies for banging on about Speed food.:o
Good to see you over here sandypan.:)
Yesterday worked out better than anticipated considering I was freezer dipping as I hadn't done a shop. Some syns as I used up some McCain rustic chips and had an ice cream at the theatre but as I'd saved syns for wine and didn't have any:eek: I think I came out on top.
Meal plan and list at the ready and I'll set off for the shops shortly.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: I've got some LO hash and veg but may change my mind after shoppingLidl pulled beef, Mediterranean veg (using up stuff from fridge), patatas bravas, something green (broccoli?)
Syns: squirt of syrup, 1? in beef, weekend wine:j0 -

Welcome back Sandypan :wave:How many more weeks are there on the current challenge?
1 more, we finish on the 1st May. I'll start collecting targets for the new one next week.. probably start a new thread too as this one is getting a bit long. So any name suggestions happily considered as i'm rubbish of thinking of something apt
Lois, the breakfast rice was always nice, not sure if that would be a tweak now or not. It used to be all the rage in this thread years ago.. from memory it was rice cooked in water/milk and then a yogurt stirred through it. Not sure i'd eat it everyday as rice is quite stodgy...
EE menu for me today.
B - apple, yogurt, ginger jam (1.5)
L - bacon, poached eggs, 2 x toast (heb +2)
T - BBQ pork and moz lasagne (hea) salad, pickles
S - milk (1) orange
extra syns left over for crisps etc if I want themMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Still fabulous weather here so I've been gardening.
Today's menu
He a skimmed milk
He b wholemeal bread
B large orange
L beans on toast
D sw chicken tikka ready meal with rice, green beans and maybe some sw chips depending on how hungry hubby is.
Good weather bound to end today as it's the first competitive cricket match of the season. Does shivering on the boundary count as body magic? LOL.0 -
1.5lbs lost please Shala. Bit disappointed as my home scales (which are accurate) said 2.5 but it was still enough for my 4st shiny that I was hoping to get by the end of the challenge so :j0
