Hope littlie is OK lush.Have I missed something? Are bananas bad then? I have one a day.
Just trying to help nessa boost her weightloss by concentrating on Speed food. Nothing bad about free food, as long as it's in proportion.
ETA: lois, no problem at all eating the fruits you enjoy. nessa wondered why she wasn't losing weight when almost all her fruit and veg was just free. If you have free fruit and a third speed then it's win/win!
Chris, aldi pastrami is free regardless of package size.:)
That seems very odd claree. The only reason I can think of for a gain in the second week is that you've made some errors with the plan somewhere. Would it help to post a menu? Give your food diary to your consultant?TB - 5'10 and 9stone 13. Sounds pretty perfect to me. Do you have any idea what weight you'd like to be?
It's really hard to generalise TB. I'm 5ft 9 and my target weight is 10 stone 7 although I'm happier at the lowest end on 10st 3. It also depends on your age and how maintaining fits your lifestyle. When I was younger I was 9st 7 but I had really skinny arms and looked a bit emaciated (when I look back at photos). Carrying a little bit more stops my arms and neck looking saggy and I know I can maintain this through holidays, eating out, weekend wine etc.:D Are you happy with your dress size? I was more interested in being a size 12 (even from cheapo shops) than a number on the scales. If you're determined to get lower than perhaps try some EESP but you sound fine to me.:)
I was really well behaved yesterday and had no syns at all! So plenty saved up for the weekend.;)
Today's EE plan.
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast
L: frittata (ham, peppers, courgette, mushrooms, spring onions) with pickles (beetroot and cornichons).corned beef hash with cabbage and broccoli
Syns: I adapt this recipe
http://theenglishkitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2010/09/baked-corned-beef-hash.html
for the hash but just wet it with a bit of horseradish sauce thinned down with milk. I add mushrooms to it and sliced tomatoes on top too. So some syns but not too bad shared with DH.0 -
thankyou for your replys you are a very kind bunch :A
ll i have lost 7 stone and have always been big if you know what i mean..perhaps need to settle into my new skin rather than get annoyed when i dont lose
thanks again tessaonwards and upwards0 -
Thanks maman but it was entirely my own fault. I went totally off the rails in week 2 and didn't follow the plan at all. I'm a little annoyed 'cause I did go to the gym 3 times and I don't think I eat badly enough for a 3.5lb gain but not much I can do about it now!
My husband joined with me on Monday of this week so it's been good having him on board, if a little exhausting answering all of his questions! Hopefully he'll stick with it, though, 'cause he could do really well. It's all food he likes, he just has to stop eating from boredom!
Today's menu
Breakfast - Pineapple chunks
Lunch - Iceland SW meal [must say I'm not really enjoying it very much! Might follow up with something else]
Dinner - Burgers with w/m roll [HexB], salad, corn on the cob and wedges
I must admit I'm not very good at getting my 1/3rd speed in with meals, something to work on I suppose but it is only week 3!My Debt Free Diary

Your BMI is 19.9 which is at the lower end of the healthy scale, so you really don't need to lose any more weight, you should call target and try to maintain the weight you've got to.
How much weight have you lost?
LL
Sorry Lois, I posted before reading rest of thread. Didn't see that you had calculated BMI. Maybe I'll go back to reading and lurking.0 -
Back from WI and am a bit disappointed to have put on 1/2lb - certainly undeserved as have stuck to plan for the last 2 weeks apart from one day but still within syns for the week. Just need to carry on with the plan and hopefully move towards bottom end before my holiday in June.
More galling is the fact that DH lost 3lb even with all the extra syns he's allowed as a man! He certainly ate a lot more than me.
Today's plan is EE again:
B - pot of fruit after WI
L - the last of the sweet chilli noodles - 1.5 syns
D - bacon wrapped cod with puy lentils; contains sweet potatoes, beetroot, onions, spring onions, spinach - sure there's more veg in it but haven't got the recipe to hand at the moment (it's another recipe from the Free Food Feasts book). Will serve with extra green veg including green beans
HEA will be milk as usual
HEB - will have something this evening either Ryvita or perhaps some dried apricots depending on whether I want something sweet or savoury
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 1.5; butter 4 if I have Ryvita; not sure what else.

well done tessie bear on your fab loss :T. I totally see where you are coming from when you say about getting used to your new size when you have always been on the larger side. I sometimes go back to thinking I'm still size 28-30 . The tea man tried to sell be some choccie biscuits this morning and I said 'ooooh no I cannot have them I'm on a diet' (not a word I usually use btw) and he replied 'you dont need to diet there's nowt on you' :rotfl:. When I told DH he said 'well, there isn't'. Well I would hardly say there is nowt on me when Im 11st and a size 14 but it did make me smile :rotfl:.
Good luck to you Claree and your DH :T. Great to be able to support each other.
Off out shortly to put some weed stuff on Mums lawns and enjoy a wee bit of sunshine.
Will catch up with you all later.

Hello.. weigh in for me tonight, not sure how it'll go as I feel bloated

Off work at the moment as I've been poorly and just caught up on Bake Off Crème de la Crème, not the best thing to watch when you're doing SW  but oh my life the desserts are beautiful!! BEG was it you who was watching it too?
Hi to the new peeps  good to have you on board.
I'm ready BEG if you need me
Hope the little one is ok Lush.. nothing serious I hope.
7 stone is amazing Tessa,:T:T it might take your head a little while longer than you're body to realise that your the right weight.Sorry Lois, I posted before reading rest of thread. Didn't see that you had calculated BMI. Maybe I'll go back to reading and lurking.
Keep posting debjayit shows how nice everyone is offering help! I often cross posts with people but better to give too much information than to ignore a request.. x
@ your gain Denise.. has OH got lots to lose though? Men usually lose quicker because of their muscle mass or something along those technical terms. I know OH's losses are usually double mine. Are you still in target?
Off out for our wedding anniversary tonight, thought it better to do it on a weigh in night so that we have all week to lose any gain8 years tomorrow  not a patch on you lot but i'm shocked he's put up with me for this long!
