Thanks everyone for the anniversary wishes. Didn't go out for lunch in the end as DD1 turned up with a bottle of prosecco for us (she really should know by now we usually drink red, LOL!). Still we'll drink it at some time. Not today though as DH fanced beer this afternoon.

Lunch was tuna and ham salad with balsamic vinegar dressing for me. DH used some syns for sweet chilli sauce with his.

Got some Barnsley chops out the freezer so will have those this evening with roast potatoes & veg, cabbage & splash of gravy.

Definitely not eating too much nessa. It's what you eat that matters. I've highlighted all the fruit you're having today that's not Speed. It's free, but it doesn't count as your one third.

To me that's a wasted opportunity. If you're eating fruit and veg then eat Speed. IMO Speed along with planning are the two key features of SW.

You'll soon get your head around it.:)

Totally agree with this. There are only a couple of non-speed fruit and veg items that I eat, and only in limited quantities. Limiting isn't necessary as long as you have enough speed foods, but I just choose to go for the speed options over them. And now a banana once or twice a week actually feels like a treat, just as much as a chocolate bar used to. :rotfl:

Lovely day, been out in the garden for most of it doing the first big spring tidy of the beds. I already have my platinum award, but it would count as body magic conditioning! :D

Thanks for the advice earlier on guys. I got near the end and nabbed 5 jelly babies - I so needed them! Physically it was the hardest thing I've ever done and I'm not doing cross country again. I'll stick to Tarmac from now on even if it is worse for my knees. Walked a lot of it - finished last in 01:42:28 but you know what? Don't care. I did it even when I wasn't at 100% and in the past I might have not bothered going.
Pushed the boat out, really challenged myself and can say I did that! *collapses on the sofa*

Musogirl I feel your pain, I used to make novelty cakes and there were scraps of cake and tubs of frosting everywhere, no wonder I put all my weight back on.. I've given up now as it was no good for my stress levels. Good luck with your venture, hope it does really well x

Too far June, you've gone too far :rotfl:;)

I've had a bit of a funny eating day today, I haven't been that hungry  but what I have eaten has been lovely. Made a Butternut squash gratin with HB braising steak and for pudding I had my new favourite product - ginger jam  with yogurt.

    B - didn't have
    L - Cajun pasta
T - HB braising steak(1), butternut squash gratin, broccoli, carrots
Pudding - 3 tsps. ginger jam(1.5), yogurt, apple, squirty cream (1)

So only 3.5 syns all day, i'm not going to force myself to eat the remainder just because I can so I may roll them over to the rest of the week.

Hope everyone's ready for next week, onto the last 2 weeks of the challenge and we still have 100lb to lose, so lets aim high! :p:D

Hello Nessa, NewShadow and Lima-India, make yourselves comfortable.

Yep, maman is right, Nessa – I packed in SW online. All I used it for regularly was recording my weight. I found the site very awkward to use and the syn search rarely helped me! I hope it has improved, Nessa.

Well, as predicted, I have completely blown any attempt at SW today. I can NOT say no to nibbles when they are right under my nose. I had mostly savoury stuff (not that that is any better really) and I didn’t eat the icing on the birthday cake (I don’t like icing, he he). WI should be interesting tomorrow.

    Monday’s Menu
Pre-breakfast: (back on the school run) banana
Breakfast: beans on ½ hexb toast
Lunch: hm red onion soup, ½ hexb toast with hexa cheese, ML strawberry yogurt, apple
Dinner: sticky ginger beef & noodles ( ½ ), an orange
    Snacks: to be decided

    Good luck all.

It's a lovely morning here so I'm taking advantage and getting my doormats washed - they always take an age to dry so hoping it'll stay dry and a bit breezy for the rest of the day. All other washing up to date.

Bit of housework done this morning and breakfast eaten so decided to post today's plan.

Think today could be an SP day:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - lentil dahl; fruit and yoghurt to follow
D - LO HB steak, cabbage, green beans, mashed flagelot beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - toast
    HEB2 - crackers & butter 6 syns

Had a synful weekend with wine and a takeaway. Don't think I'll make much dint in that 100 lb target!
    Today's plan
    He a skimmed milk
    He b 35g oats
B couscous cake (tweak eek) and sw lemon curd
    L sw quiche and salad
D mayflower curry (4) chicken, onions, peas and mushrooms
Over night oats with cherries and skyr
Will try to keep off the syns apart from that
