Good losses, june, musogirl and TIE.
No football for us today but filled the time up by ferrying children to and from cinema as part of DGs1’s birthday treat. They went to MacD’s afterwards and I sat in the car to avoid temptation!
I took a mad turn and was playing freezer tetris this morning so didn’t get round to having breakfast until 11 so I didn’t have any lunch after all.
Tomorrow is DGS1’s actual birthday and it’s the family celebration, so it’s another Danger Day as dinner will be of the oven ready, nibbly variety.
Breakfast: fruit salad, 0% fat Greek yogurt
Lunch: hm lentil soup, hexb bread
Dinner/Snacks: see aboveSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Getting my plan for tomorrow down here in the hope that I stick to it!
B - 2 x sausages (2), bacon, beans, scrambled egg, tomatoes, toast (heb)
L - Leek and potato soup
D - Chicken and ham pie (4.5), green beans, carrots, ff greek yoghurt, berries, meringue (2.5)
S - Cheese (hea), clementines, banana, activia
I'm going to try to not use all my syns each day by making all my snacks syn free. Then if I feel the need to taste test a cake I should be covered!0 -
Well done musogirl :T and good luck for next week.
Well done greentiger on resisting temptation today. Enjoy family celebration tomorrow..

Hi there
I hope you don't mind me joining.
I signed up on line 2weeks ago today -Sunday is not a great weigh in day but I will stick with it I think
I have only lost 3lbs in the last 2weeks and wonder if that is normal. I did think usually a large loss was expected the first week?
Mind you any loss is better than a gain I guess :T
I have been following this thread for a few weeks and what an inspiration you all are !! So I am hoping with your help and some willpower from me I will get where I want to be:)
Have a great Sunday everybody

Hi Nessa and welcome
I think the first week losses can depend how drastic change this is for you. 3lb is still good, as you say less is less.
If it helps you to list our what you are eating I'm sure folks would give more specific advice. Common issues are not earing enough or miss counting syns or not measuring HE. But really you sound fine slow and steady will get you there.0 -
Hi guys, got a question and hoping you might know. I've got a 10k race at 11am and I've also got a cold. Usually I wouldn't bother with energy drinks but because of the cold I want to make sure I'm okay. We've got some sachets (High5 sports nutrition) that have a tablet in them that you mix with water to make the sports drink. It has no calories and no sugar in it. Would this be syn free?0

Can't see any reason why it wouldn't be syn free as it is 0 cal and 0 sugar. Go for it and good luck with the race. (rather you than me:rotfl:).
Today's plan is as follows:
B - SW fry up; 1 slice bread & butter, part HEB + 2
L - eating out at local pub for our 45th anniversary
D - LO HB steak, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage & mash
HEA will be milk as usual
HEB - not sure yet but may have a couple of crackers later + the bread had at breakfast
Syns - butter & weekend wine:D

I'm probably way too late replying to this as it's almost 11 now but I tend not to count anything run-related in my syns, whether it's glucose tabs or jelly babies during a race or my post-run cake/meal
However, if you're not used to energy drinks I wouldn't recommend using one for the first time during a race, in case it has any adverse effects. As I said, I'm late replying and as it's not a marathon hopefully you'll be ok! Good luck!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
L - eating out at local pub for our 45th anniversary
Congratulations denise, that's quite a milestone.:T I looked it up and it's a sapphire anniversary so maybe you could have a gin in the pub unless any jewellers are handy;).
New me is absolutely right nessa, there could be a number of reasons for not having a bigger loss. Unfortunately the online version of SW hasn't had good reports on here for being supportive. Many posters (tweets and greentiger come to mind) haven't renewed after the first time and now go it alone with the thread for help. If you have the time I'd definitely recommend posting your menus and we can advise if there's anything going wrong. Meantime, make sure you have at least a third of Speed food;) and ask all the questions you like.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast
L: cold chicken with various fried veg veg (potatoes, tomato sauce, broccoli, mushrooms, spring onions) and beetroot.roast lamb, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, swede and carrot mash, cabbage and any other veg that takes my fancy
Syns: HM gravy, weekend wine:)0
