Welcome RyesMummy12 to the thread. You will get all the support you want/need. Any questions just post there is usually someone around who can help.

You might also want to post your menu plan as some of us do.

    It's an EE day today:

    B - none
L - low fat burger from butcher in 60g WM roll, onions (0.5 syns)
D - slow cooked beef with stew veg

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - 0.5 for burger. Nothing else planned but may have a Hifi later if I fancy it (3 or 6 depending which I have)

Need to rein in the syns a bit as gone over every day (Thurs to Sat)

    Hiya slimmers

It's been a few days since I last posted, I'm all over the place at the moment and a bit of a mardy mare thanks to star week but somehow managed to have a loss of 0.5lb this week which I am happy about. After I posted on Monday about being happy at the small amount of choc I ate .. I ended up eating the rest of my stash which included mini lindt lambs and a big lindt bunny (which wasn't that nice tbh I hate that ) and the rest of my maltesers easter egg. Felt truly sick afterwards and thoroughly fed up .. don't know why I do it to myself I should know better by now! But OH gave me a muchly needed kick up the bum and some hugs and listened to me whinging then we did a weight training session together and I felt tons better for it!

Tuesday was fully on plan, Wednesday wasn't as it was his birthday, yesterday was a good food day for me too and I'm hoping today will be. I'm feeling much more positive and happy which makes me want to eat good stuff .. just wish I could feel like this all the time :D

    Today's food:

B - grapenuts HEB with 2 muller greek lemon yogs (1 syn) and satsumas which I've become a bit addicted to
L - BNS and sweet potato soup
T - chicken curry with rice (& SW chips for the OH)

Love the sound of those onion bhajis, I'm a proper sucker for those when we have an Indian

    Welcome back wiz and MrsR

I've been considering going to group as well if I can find one nearby with times to suit me. I feel like I've done well on my own but really lacking in motivation lately. I'm having one good week but then losing my mojo and any loss just goes straight back on. Reckon I have about a stone left to lose .. I keep changing my mind about what my target should be though, I just can't settle :p

    Have a good friday everyone
    xx

Had to lauh at the mardy mare candyapple, its an expression I haven't heard for years, its what my Nan used to call me when I threw a wobbler.

It's a start wiz, you should be pleased. I'm pleased for you!:)

Lois, don't worry about sitting on your own. I often go to groups where I don't know a soul. I just smile at people and ask if they've had a good week. Most like to tell their stories. Wouldn't it be great if all of us on here attended a RL group together! :D

Went to the pub for lunch. Football was miserable as we deserved something from the game but the ref didn't agree!! I had a chicken roast which was ok but low on Speed as veg was peas, parsnips and carrots.:(

I've cooked a gammon joint and now a big pan of soup is on from the stock. I'll probably have some later.

I'm really tired as up early picking up DD1 from Heathrow after her holiday in NYC.

    Back on plan properly tomorrow.:)

Evening all :) Dropping in to report a 2lb gain this week. Not feeling too worried about this, as had big losses for the last 2 weeks, and I often find this is followed by a gain. I also went a bit off plan today, but it was worth it and I think I needed a bit of a treat day! Line is drawn and I'm back on the wagon as of tomorrow :)

    Hello

Can I join in? Been going to actually SW class since April 2014,got my 2st but couldn't hold on to it and since Christmas instead of getting nearer to target have been maintaining my Christmas gain weight. I'd like to get my 2st back by my birthday 27th May.

Breakfast planned - Golden crunch and 0% fat yogurt
    Lunch - salmon salad
    Dinner - something mincy

Lois , I wish you a group as lovely as the one I go to, I didn't know anyone there when I first changed to this group but they were all so lovely xx

    Good luck all

    Morning all :)

Welcome to michmar and Ryesmummy - good luck to both of you with your weight loss goals.

Shala - I'm a STS again this week.

I went a bit crazy yesterday and had a pasty and an Easter egg - I think it was a case of "do it now before I start class". Today is going to be a good day.

It's amazing the things that keep me awake at night, last night I was obsessed with what to wear for the weigh in tomorrow and I remembered what Jock used to say about wearing heavier clothes one week and lighter clothes the next week to get a good result. So then I was thinking, you can't be SOTW your 2nd week, so the heavy clothes wouldn't work on the 1st WI. I fell asleep eventually but without actually coming to any conclusion! :rotfl: I think I'll just wear jeans as that's what I would normally put on for work every morning.

Maman - I used to go to a group where nearly everybody went with a friend and the first couple of weeks no-one spoke to me, then I started looking out for other people sat on their own and joined them. Everyone has SW in common so at least you have something to talk about!

    Have a good week everyone.

    LL :)
