Really busy at the moment so not Ben around much. Just dropping in to report a 5lb loss please shala!
So that was all of last week's gain off, very pleased!
At a family gathering today and the next two days so going to have to work very hard from Tuesday onwards to ensure I don't have another big gain!0 -

NSV for me today with two bikinis from Asda. I always think you need to look early in the season otherwise there's nothing around by the time holidays come around. The tops fit really well so hopefully the bottoms will as well. Now I just need to keep tummy flat until June!;)
Thanks fro the heads up on frozen rice june. We don't eat a great deal, mainly with chilli but it's another option.
Change of plan for this evening. I went to Lidl because they had the Pulled Beef on offer so stocked up but I don't think it's really worth the money unless it's reduced. DH saw it being unpacked and asked if we could have some today. Veg and potatoes will stay the same and I'm not going to worry about half a syn. One day I'll get round to cooking my own pulled pork, we used to love the Tesco one until they changed the recipe.:mad:0 -

Not sure what you're looking for beg but I bought a pair of 'girlfriend' jeans from Sainsbury's. I think they're meant to be rolled up to calf length which will look good when the sun shines but unrolled they're like straight ones.

Thanks maman re jeans. Going to sort through my own jeans tomorrow and have a try on session. I am looking for a fairly slim leg without being skinny . I also find they can sometimes be baggy under my bumand if they fit the hips - they can be baggy on waist :rotfl:. I think its my totally odd shape :rotfl:. Certainly wont be any bikinis appearing in wardrobe :rotfl:. Well done on your NSV :T
Got three of the Pulled Beef from Lidl on Thursday. Had one of them mixed through pasta with speedy veg.

b_e_g I'm pear shaped, haven't found suitable jeans in Sainsbury's unfortunately - just not long enough in the waist for me. I wear the sculpt slimboot cut from M&S. Expensive for what they are IMO (which I think about most of their clothes now) but they fit really well. I usually pick them up on eBay for under a tenner.
That does remind me of an NSV though. I pulled out my old NYDJ jeans (which are also not worth the money full price, I got them cheap!) which haven't fit for nearly a decade. Gotten close a few times, but never comfortable enough to wear out of the house. They fit now.0 -
Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes.
Congratulations to everyone who has anniversaries - 54 years Wiz, that's amazing. We'll be celebrating our 45th in a couple of weeks time but probably won't be going out as DH will probably still have bandages on his hand/wrist and I'll probably still be having to cut up his dinners or making sloppy stuff he can eat with a fork or spoon, LOL!
Having a Green day today:
B - mushroom omelette
L - HM carrot & lentil soup; 3 slices of Kingsmill crustless (HEB1)
D - HM pumpkin & spinach curry with rice
HEA 1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB 2 will have either some crackers with cheese (HEA2) or may just have a Hifi bar depending on whether I fancy sweet or savoury this evening!
Denise
Have a lovely anniversary and thanks for the good wishes I don't know about you, but I never thought we would get this far0 -

Could you get to a class at 5.30pm Lois? not sure what time you shut the shop, it's a nice time as you finish at 7.. plenty of evening left for tea and a bit of tv.I made a snack of a couple of mini-jackets yesterday evening shala and very nice they were too. I had a dollop of cottage cheese and a cornichon on each. So focus on those and the strawberries and limit the petit fours.
very impressed with the mini jackets too, I popped a little bit of cheese and a sprinkle of finely cut spring onions on them... yum!
Had 4 petit fours (12 ish syns) and half a cookie (4 syns) have gone over syns today but I only had 7.5 yesterday so if banking syns i'd be fine:j

I thought you had to be asked to be on the social team BEG, didn't realise you could volunteer. I'm not sure I can make it every week though due to working late once a month, sometimes it would fall on a Thursday...
Afternoon tea went well :T lots left though so I sent it all back with my guests. Really recommend the petit fours from Iceland (not for slimming world obviously :rotfl:) 4 different mini cakes (total of 52!) for £6.59.. I only served half for 5 people so I have enough to do another tea party..
Menu for today - not much speed
B - banana
L - 2 wholemeal mini rolls (heb) flora (2) peppered beef chunks, ham chunks, mini frittata, mini jacket potato, 4 petit fours (12) 1/2 cookie (4) strawberries
T - chicken, sweet potato, salad and pickles
S - cake batter lick(2)
HEA - milk/cheese
Total of 20 syns.. not as bad as it could have been!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I've made up my mind - I'm going to join on Tuesday morning, a 9.30 class. I was a bit reticent as I'll be leaving DH to man the shop, but he leaves me on my own to play golf on Mondays so why not. I prefer an early class, I'll skip breakfast, probably just have a cup of tea first thing.
It says 9.30 on the website, but is that 'doors open' or when the consultant starts Image Therapy? Should I get there earlier for the weigh in?
