Trying to stick to plan a bit better than I have over the last few weeks. I really need to shift a couple of pounds by next Thursday which is likely to be very difficult for me as the most I've ever lost in a week is 1.5lb!

Went a few syns over last night as had a couple of small red wines as it was my birthday and food was on plan all day, except for bread which I'd had at my sisters so had to syn it rather than using as HEB. Had a Salted Caramel HiFi in the evening for my HEB.

DH is cooking dinner tonight, so looking forward to that.

    It'll be an EE day:

B - strawberries, banana & FF Greek Yoghurt
L - scrambled eggs on toast (3 slices of crustless WM:D); apple, tangerine & more strawberries (which need using up)
D - chicken, chorizo & seafood paella - 1.5 syns for 12.5g of chorizo (only 25g in it so assuming I'll get half, LOL!)

Will probably have a couple of glasses of wine so will be under syns hopefully.

    Good morning all,

Yesterday did not finish well; our friend came round to drop some bits off (currently going through an awkward break up with another of our friends :/) and stayed longer than expected so we ended up with convenience food for tea...and I had more than one hot cross bun.

Then I opened my post and got a letter that says as I hadn't responded to an initial invite to the 'shape your weight' programme (dr referred me to the heath trainer team) that I needed to respond or the invite would be withdrawn! I haven't even had the first letter! so I've contacted them this morning and I'm waiting for them to get back to me.

New day and all that; bit of a dodgy tum this morning so starting with a cup of tea (milk from HeA) and an apple to see how I get on. Lunch will be a microwave baked potato and some baked beans, the savoury mince we didn't have yesterday will be tea (5.5syn)
Other syns: 2 party rings = 3 syn mid morning. Potentially others this afternoon but will keep track.

This weekend I will have the following for breakfast: scrambled egg, baked beans, sausage and a slice of wholemeal toast plus a mini muller yogurt (same both days. that's what they have in the hotel. or sugar covered cereal/cheeses/croissants and muffins!) lunches - OH has requested demi-baguettes for his sandwiches. I don't often eat lunch at tournaments I tend to graze so that will be bananas, satsumas, apples, couple of slices of malt loaf. Our games tend to fall at meal times so I eat fruit around them. Tea on Saturday is a KFC as that's all they have near the hotel (and we are on a very strict budget now OH has left GB so has no additional funding!), we will be home before tea time on sunday so I will cook

I'm back from my few days at my sister's. Not particularly SW friendly food and plenty of wine so decided to jump on scales when I got back - looks like I've put on about 2lb this week!!! Need to shift that this week to get back into target range.

B - scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on toast (4 syns as 50/50 bread); bucks fizz (6 syns)
L - still full up from breakfast but may have some fruit later
    D - HM cod, chips & peas

Ooh, we have that on special occasions - were you celebrating something?

Had a bit of a naughty day yesterday, constant eating of high syn items from the cupboard.

Feel the same as you Denise, uncomfortable and need a couple of pounds off the next few weeks.

Glad to hear your back at class Shala, a change is as good as a rest!

Must try and pick up the new mag today for some motivation and going to hot yoga tonight. For me if I exercise I'm more likely to behave than not behave.

Will be glad to back to get to a full week of work next week and a proper routine. I feel yuck right now, too much alcohol and syns and stodge over the last week.

    Morning all :)

Shala - good luck with going to group, I've been thinking of doing that too. I'm so easily distracted from the plan at the moment, and although I'm not gaining and knew this was going to take a while, I'd like to speed things up.

GFB - hope your dinner goes well. All the suggestions sound really nice.

Lush - the shape your weight programme sounds interesting, I look forward to hearing more about it. I wish my surgery did something positive to help people lose weight, they're quick enough to tell you being overweight is the root of all your health problems, but there's no help other than advice to "eat less and exercise more".

We had Linda Mc red onion and rosemary sausages for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed them, I missed having them while we were away. The packaging has changed, so I hope they're still free - anyone know?

Haven't decided what to have for lunch today - maybe a JP with beans, salad on the side for speed.

Have a good day everyone, it's nearly the weekend again already! That means wine tonight. :j :D

It's been a few days since I last posted, I'm all over the place at the moment and a bit of a mardy mare thanks to star week but somehow managed to have a loss of 0.5lb this week which I am happy about. After I posted on Monday about being happy at the small amount of choc I ate .. I ended up eating the rest of my stash which included mini lindt lambs and a big lindt bunny (which wasn't that nice tbh I hate that ) and the rest of my maltesers easter egg. Felt truly sick afterwards and thoroughly fed up .. don't know why I do it to myself I should know better by now! But OH gave me a muchly needed kick up the bum and some hugs and listened to me whinging then we did a weight training session together and I felt tons better for it!

Tuesday was fully on plan, Wednesday wasn't as it was his birthday, yesterday was a good food day for me too and I'm hoping today will be. I'm feeling much more positive and happy which makes me want to eat good stuff .. just wish I could feel like this all the time :D

    Today's food:

B - grapenuts HEB with 2 muller greek lemon yogs (1 syn) and satsumas which I've become a bit addicted to
L - BNS and sweet potato soup
T - chicken curry with rice (& SW chips for the OH)

Love the sound of those onion bhajis, I'm a proper sucker for those when we have an Indian

    Welcome back wiz and MrsR

I've been considering going to group as well if I can find one nearby with times to suit me. I feel like I've done well on my own but really lacking in motivation lately. I'm having one good week but then losing my mojo and any loss just goes straight back on. Reckon I have about a stone left to lose .. I keep changing my mind about what my target should be though, I just can't settle :p

    Have a good friday everyone
    xx
