lush - Which Asda pot do you have? I can run it through the calculator. Also you could try PB2 if you want to save some syns, it's powdered low fat peanut butter. 1 syn per tablespoon, you mix it up with water to get it back to a paste. Got mine from Amazon, but I think health food shops stock it too.

Oh thanks June, its the their green chicken curry one I have the nutritional info if you need it :)

I will keep an eye out for PB2...I think I've heard t mentioned before :) thanks

forgot to mention this weeks annoyance - I broke a tooth eating special K on Monday :( same tooth I broke at Christmas but on the other side! so will have to call in and see if I can get a dentist appt :( bleurgh.

Off for a walk once I've eaten this pot of yumminess and sent another two emails!

That's great! thanks. I was really expecting it to be far more syns. I got it reduced to £1.75 (usual price £2.25 so not much of a reduction) but would definitely buy it again especially if caught short for lunch.

Well hello there all! Long time no speak. I can't even remember the last time I was on here.
So six weeks ago I was going to the dentist when I spotted a banner advertising the SW group in the community centre next door. I had just rejoined the gym and I thought well why not- it's time I did something! I knew I wasn't going back to my old consultant's group after I fell out with her big time (and I'm not the only one) so I decided to try a different one. And it's worked! I bought a 6 week countdown which has just expired so in five weeks of SW I have lost a total of 1 stone 1/2 a lb :) my new consultant is lovely but she's not pushy like the old one- she's very brisk and efficient and doesn't hound me with constant texts!
Four weeks until my rugby club awards night- I'm now on my third dress :D the first two were just too big. I have my perfect dress now so I'm just trying not to slim out of it! I'm aiming for a stone and a half gone by awards night which should mean my dress is still ok. 6.5lbs to go, I'm hoping for 2lb each week for the next three weeks then 0.5 for the final week.
Sadly not much body magic is being done at the moment as I'm laid up with a bruised bone in my foot after I dropped a heavy ornament on it on Friday- clumsy me haha!
Today's menu, I seem to have done nowt but eat!
    B: HEXB Hi-Fi Light x 2, banana, coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Mixed salad (lettuce, cherry toms, large tom slices, cucumber, carrot, red onion) pease pudding, salmon fillet X 2. Apple, fizzy water
T: SW ready meal, egg noodles (4.5 syns) broccoli, carrots and peas
    S: 2 X meringues (5 syns) Muller Greek lemon yoghurt (0.5 syn)
Drinks: Diet Coke, decaf tea with HEXA, 1 X coffee, NAS flavoured water, sparkling water.
    Syns: 10
    Good to be back xx

Lovely to see you back Mrs R. Well done on your fab fresh start :T:T:T x

Sat here on the sofa and just cannot be bothered to shift. Haven't been sleeping too well and its starting to show. :(.

Back from my weekend away and just catching up. Any SW friendly food I might have had was just a coincidence:o. I'm also finding it hard shaking of the cold that DH kindly shared with me so no motivation to shop/meal plan.

I checked the Hovis wholemeal granary on Syns Allowed and 1 slice is an HEB. It's very tasty so it will be a regular purchase for me. I also discovered that Burgen soya and linseed bread counts as an HEB too, I'm sure it wasn't before.

    LL :)

Thanks for that lois. I did know about Burgen but it's good to get tasty recommendations.

Hi everyone, I'm back, and going to get back on track with SW. I have not been well for the last couple of months but I am on the mend and raring, well not actually raring , but I am ready to get going again.

Good to see you back wiz. I guessed you must have been unwell but delighted to hear you're back with us.

Lovely to see you back too MrsR. The new group certainly seems to be doing the trick for you.

I had a SW friendly breakfast (baked beans and HEB toast) and just cups of tea since then. Only just started feeling hungry so will go in search of something. Dinner likely to be from freezer (burgers or chilli?). Out for lunch tomorrow so off plan then try to get myself back in gear properly with a shop and meal plan on Friday.

This sounds promising. Not a big fan of peanut butter really but I do love chicken satay - strange I know. Do we know of PB2 has a syn value? :D

Hope you feel better soon maman.

b_e_g PB2 is 1 syn per tablespoon, which is WAY less than regular PB at 4-5 syns  I don't like PB enough to spend that many syns on it, but sometimes it's what I fancy. So the powder comes in handy. Also has a chocolate version that is no Nutella substitute, but desperate times and all that. :o

TIE - I've been avoiding Sainsbury's all week because of the eggs! Although I did pop in quickly just after they opened on Monday (DH had run out of milk) and they had cleared most of them out already so not expecting many left now.
