Sorry Shala for my absence - it's been a bit manic busy these last few days and I forgot to report in - I was 1lb off on Friday :)

  • Has anyone tried the coleslaw with quark? I love coleslaw (I'd have it at every meal if I could lol) and if it's nice with the quark then it would be a nice addition.
  • Great to see you back WIZ. Sorry you have not felt too good.
Breakfast was a banana. Chicken salad wholemeal wrap for lunch and beef stirfry for tea with rice and lots of speedy veg in both.
I WILL SEE A LOSS THIS WEEK!

Hi everyone, I'm back, and going to get back on track with SW. I have not been well for the last couple of months but I am on the mend and raring, well not actually raring , but I am ready to get going again.
I haven't been on plan at all and it's showing to now I am in earnest. If I am not too late SHALA ten pound for me if I am too late I will do it next time. :D:D

Lovely to see you back wiz. Sorry you haven't been too well. :(

Hello all. I'm new to SW, with my first WI tonight.
I feel as though I should've made a loss but want to find out so I can stop feeling so nervous!

I've found the plan a shallower learning curve than I expected and, although I've had a couple of days of craving sweet stuff, I've stuck to plan, or on the one day I went over on syns, I made up for it by sticking to 5-10 syns for the next couple of days.

Had a lovely fry up this morning with Quorn bacon. A bit miffed that the frozon ones need to be synned and the fresh ones don't - guess which ones I bought ;)

How is your day going so far?

    Welcome back, wizkid.

Welcome aboard efilpickle. :hello: Good luck with your first weigh in. ;)

Sorry Shala for my absence - it's been a bit manic busy these last few days and I forgot to report in - I was 1lb off on Friday :)

Well done on your loss queen of cheap. :T

Lighter nights makes so much difference Shala. When I came back from SW class last night (around 8pm) and it was still fairly light - ok not for long but was still good. I don't have far to walk but it is just more pleasant really. Lots of sunshine today but it is still bloomin cold.

Just checking in. Having an accidental red vegetarian day today, I think. Seems wrong as green is considered the veggie plan. :rotfl: It still fits into SP though, so not too worried what it's called.

Breakfast - Usual weetabix, berries and coffee (A/B1)
Lunch - LM sausages and salad (1)
Snack - Apple, hifi lights (B2)
Dinner - Veggie chilli and spinach

Keeping syns low after a little wobble with the easter egg stash yesterday. :o

ETA: Just realised this is SP not red due to a small amount of beans in the chilli. But as I said, not really worried!

Hi, hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend. I have eaten a lot of chocolate and drunk a lot of wine. Had a sneaky go on the scales this morning and only one pound on (and still under 12st) so that's a relief, now to bring it back down in time for Friday :o

    Today:
    B - Apple and 2x Alpen Lights (B)
    D - SW Tuna Pasta Bake (2.5)
T - Birdseye fish thing (0.5) with grated carrot, cucumber, sweetcorn, and light mayo (2)
Other - Coffee x4 (another one struggling with the clock change!) (A,4), Mullerlight, gherkins, meringue (2.5), hot choc x2 (4)
    TOTAL: 15.5

Wow, getting back out of the habit of eating everything in sight is HARD.

Just saw an ad for the Actifry - does anyone have one of these? How many Syns would chips be done in one of those?

I'm really disorganised this week and having to live out of the freezer. Tomorrow is tuna pasta bake again and maybe curry and couscous for tea. Will attempt a SP day on Thursday ahead of weigh in. :o

Meant to say, I had kind of a NSV on Sunday in that my running belt wouldn't stay put and kept riding up. Equal parts annoying and gratifying!

Thanks for the chart, shala, and big congratulations to gingerfurball.

Good to see you back and raring to go, wizkid.

    Pleased to meet you, efilpickle.

Arkers, glad to hear you are improving.

    Well done, queen of cheap.

Thanks, Denise :A and b_e_g :A. for info re bread. I do usually cut it to correct weight (and I’m pretty good at cutting it thinly too), but yesterday I just went with a “normal” slice. I didn’t have many syns yesterday either, so it should have been ok. I do appreciate you keeping an eye on me. As I said, I’ll be eating what I’ve got in the house this week - there’s plenty but it won’t necessarily be SW friendly. I will try to keep things under control though, and not use it as an excuse to go crazy. I’m just buying what fresh stuff I need for a recipe, plus a few staples – today I needed a courgette and some frozen peas. I won’t count syns but I will note them

    Tuesday
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, a very little milk, a banana
Lunch: roll (lots of syns) with bacon and egg (no spread or sauce)
Dinner: SW recipe – smoked salmon & courgette spaghetti (1), Milbona 0%fat Greek yogurt, lemon flavour
Snack: hexa cheese, 2 x Jacob’s choice grain crackers (3)

Make the most of tomorrow, folks.
