Good morning and a Happy Easter to everyone.
Here's some virtual Easter naughtiness:
:j:icotbaske:j:EasterBun:j:easter_os:j:easter::j :easter_ba :j
Did you all remember to put your clocks forward? I was so paranoid that my alarm wouldn't work I set 2 more up to make sure - I was right to do it because the usual one (an old Nokia mobile) updated itself to GMT + 1 but for some reason also added an hour onto the alarm. *shrug*
Since we got back we've only been doing bits of shopping so we've got meals for the next day and I was planning to go to Morrisons this afternoon to do a proper shop, but I realised last night that they don't open on Easter Sunday :doh: Luckily we have a smallish Coop nearby so I'll be able to get a few bits there, and I had some stewing beef in the freezer that was reduced on Thursday so I'll do the Hairy Bikers tagine recipe. All I need is fresh veg which I'll get from the Coop.
Have a good day everyone.

Well I had one of my truffles last night... and I didn't like it!! :eek: It just tasted of butter (they're the strawberry white chocolate ones) to me. DH enjoyed the egg though, so that's something. 4 syns wasted but oh well, today's a new day.
Breakfast - Usual Weetabix, berries and coffee (A/B)
Lunch - Bacon and egg salad, I think
Dinner - Fish and veggies
Dinner isn't what I was planning. Was sure there was beef in the freezer so was going to do a roast. But nope, none to be seen! Realised yesterday evening and the weather was too dreadful to go pick some up. Have done meal plan with what is actually in there for this week though, starting to get more organised again!
Hope everyone is having a lovely long weekend :easter:0 -

Funny Shala, my MIL did exactly the same (also for the first time) this year! She at least only bought one for us to share, but it was the largest one she could find.
It was added to DH's pile of eggs which he's already made a good dent in. :EasterBun0 -

I checked the Hovis wholemeal granary on Syns Allowed and 1 slice is an HEB. It's very tasty so it will be a regular purchase for me. I also discovered that Burgen soya and linseed bread counts as an HEB too, I'm sure it wasn't before.

With the Burgen, it's 1 slice for both the small and large loaf, instead of the usual 2 from a 400g loaf. So get the big one!0 -

I noticed that, thought it might be a mistake. I usually buy a 400g loaf but DH doesn't really like the small slices so I went for the 800g Hovis and I'm finding 1 slice is enough.

Sorry you were disappointed with your truffle, june, but every cloud has a (SW) lining
Sunday – too much to be SW friendly, lol, so not looking good for tomorrow’s WI – again.
But, on the bright side, no chocolate, cake, biscuit, sweet or pudding found its way into my mouth, so Dechox still lives!
