Hi all, just popping in to say -0.5lbs for last week, have had a very synful weekend though so in damage limitation mode until Friday. Saw a few friends over the weekend who have started or are thinking of starting SW, one has lost 1.5 stone since Jan and looks incredible - then came home and had a leaflet through my door for a new group, so half tempted to join. Wouldn't mind the new books etc for a bit of inspiration. Is there still an offer floating around does anyone know? There's an offer coming out in Woman magazine from tomorrow. I assume it's the same free join coupon as normal but I haven't seen it publicised as much as the other one.I noticed that, thought it might be a mistake. I usually buy a 400g loaf but DH doesn't really like the small slices so I went for the 800g Hovis and I'm finding 1 slice is enough.
LL
I think it's because it's higher calorie, one slice from the smaller loaf is 4.5 syns which would be too much for a B to have two. You could probably do 1.5 slices and get away with it being just over 6 syns but I can't be bothered with part portions.
Horrid weather last night, woke up to a bit of a leaky roof. But hoping it's just because the rain was literally blowing uphill that it managed to sneak under the tiles rather than the roof needing any work.
Have been doing some paint patching around the house this weekend, tried to do that in our southern facing lounge and realised that the walls have been sun bleached! So will probably need to repaint the whole thing. Which is a shame, because I still like the colour - just wanted to cover over the massive TV wall bracket holes the previous owner didn't bother to patch. I'd just been covering them with a canvas print until now. :rotfl:0 -
Morning all
Well, what a night, I thought we were going to get blown away, or have a tree come down on us! Thankfully nothing like that happened and this morning has been nice and bright and the wind has dropped.
Reporting in this week with another STS please Shala.
Back later, enjoy the Bank Holiday.

Hi everyone,
Hope everyones houses have survived the wind, had a rather synful Sunday, came in around 2.30 this morning, and there was a massive trampoline in the road
Really pleased to report a -3lb loss. Which takes me to 2st1lb off since I started SW in January, which is amazing for me. Although have a lot to lose, but this is defo a massive chunk out of me (quite literally!) I'm now wearing size 18, which is great news, as I find size 18 easy to buy/find but size 20/22, I struggle to find nice things.
Had around 10,000000 syns yesterday :rotfl: so will be really careful for the rest of the week, despite it being payday on Thursday...
Have a nice bank holiday Monday xx0 -
Hi everyone
Looks like the storm has passed us here in the north east, we have sunshine  It was wild & windy on saturday evening though, I got caught in the rain and came home looking like I'd been for a swim in my clothes!
I didn't pig out as much as I thought I would've done yesterday. I had half a choc egg dipped in my cuppa and a few lindt mini lambs throughout the day. I've been a right greedy gannet the past couple of weeks, 2 gains in a row my weight is just creeping up and up I can't seem to stop eating junk
Tea tonight is a speed packed chilli with brown rice. I've had 6 syns today leaving some to play with later, hopefully I won't need them as planning on stuffing my face with chilli and adding some veg as well. I need to get back on the SW wagon sharpish - only 5 months til we go away on hols and I need rid of my wobbly bits :rotfl:
Well done belsy that's an amazing loss in such a short time, keep up the good workWell done everyone who has lost this week / last week, hoping to join you all and get a loss or STS on Wed
Enjoy what's left of the bank hol everyone

Welcome back LL. Bet the weather's been a bit of a shock to the system!
Have had a good weekend away but not very on plan - as expected. This week is also not going to be completely on plan as visiting my sister for a few days and so can't control what I'll be eating (and the wine will be flowing too!). Will be good when I can and careful when I can't!
Today's an OK EE day:
B - strawberries and FF Greek yoghurt
L - HM salmon terrine (LO from what I made for the Sat night buffet - which I cut off before taking, LOL!); salad
D - jacket potato; tuna mayo (1 for LTL mayo); more salad
Will also have a couple of glasses of red (12)

Sorry I have been reading and running over the past week. Well done to all the cracking losers and awards receivers.
Had a very quiet SW class tonight but good all the same. Reporting in with a 3lb loss this week Shala which is much better than the last couple of weeks. Pleased with that as I had stuck to plan all over the holiday weekend despite have company yesterday. I declined the chocolate orange gateau with cream but confess I have eaten my portion tonight.
We must have been out in the same storm candyapple on Saturday night - totally drenched .
Hope you all have a good week.

Evening all, hope you had a good Easter weekend and haven't been too battered by the storms! I'm very proud of myself as have managed to stay on track - only indulgence has been a jam doughnut today but even with that I'm only just over syns today. I have a smarties chicken egg thing to eat at some point - need to try and work out the syns and then will probably break it into little pieces and have for treats
Though I have to say, saving my syns for meals rather than using them on snacks seems to be going pretty well for me. Didn't get chance to weigh last night, so weighed this evening with a 3.5lb loss
- that's the second week in a row, and gives me my club 10, so I've a very happy bunny! (pardon the easter pun!)

Well done, shrimpy, b_e_g and BelsyBoop.
I hope your roof is ok, june – and I hope no one has had horrible experiences courtesy of Katie! Today has been a lovely day here although still a tad cold. However, the first spring lambs have appeared in the fields around us, so that’s always a cheerful sign.
Well, it’s another gain for me, albeit just 0.2lbs. I’ll be so glad when this Dechox ends on Thursday – it hasn’t helped me at all! And then, on Saturday, we are off on holiday with the whole family. It’s just a couple of hours’ drive to a self-catering place, but it’s good to be all together. Eating will be interesting as each couple takes responsibility for 2 evening meals. The last is usually just pot luck. Maybe the break from SW will do me good. I think I’ll have to investigate red days, as I see some folk have good results with that.
I’m not meal planning for this week, just seeing what we have and trying to make the most of it. I’m trying to avoid shopping as much as possible before we go away.
Monday
Breakfast: ML raspberry & cranberry yogurt, raspberries.
Lunch: lentil soup, slice hm onion bread (wholemeal so hexb?)
Dinner: beef pot roast, carrot, onion, swede, peas, mashed potatoes, cooking juices as gravy (all these were left over from yesterday)
Snack: hexa 3 mini babybel light, grapes
BTW I was out with DH today and we were in a cafe– I had tea and not another thing, I don’t even have milk in my tea. And the tea was rotten, lol!
Hope all goes well for all of you tomorrow.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400
