Well hello there all! Long time no speak. I can't even remember the last time I was on here.
So six weeks ago I was going to the dentist when I spotted a banner advertising the SW group in the community centre next door. I had just rejoined the gym and I thought well why not- it's time I did something! I knew I wasn't going back to my old consultant's group after I fell out with her big time (and I'm not the only one) so I decided to try a different one. And it's worked! I bought a 6 week countdown which has just expired so in five weeks of SW I have lost a total of 1 stone 1/2 a lb :) my new consultant is lovely but she's not pushy like the old one- she's very brisk and efficient and doesn't hound me with constant texts!
Four weeks until my rugby club awards night- I'm now on my third dress :D the first two were just too big. I have my perfect dress now so I'm just trying not to slim out of it! I'm aiming for a stone and a half gone by awards night which should mean my dress is still ok. 6.5lbs to go, I'm hoping for 2lb each week for the next three weeks then 0.5 for the final week.
Sadly not much body magic is being done at the moment as I'm laid up with a bruised bone in my foot after I dropped a heavy ornament on it on Friday- clumsy me haha!
Today's menu, I seem to have done nowt but eat!
    B: HEXB Hi-Fi Light x 2, banana, coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Mixed salad (lettuce, cherry toms, large tom slices, cucumber, carrot, red onion) pease pudding, salmon fillet X 2. Apple, fizzy water
T: SW ready meal, egg noodles (4.5 syns) broccoli, carrots and peas
    S: 2 X meringues (5 syns) Muller Greek lemon yoghurt (0.5 syn)
Drinks: Diet Coke, decaf tea with HEXA, 1 X coffee, NAS flavoured water, sparkling water.
    Syns: 10
    Good to be back xx

Well done all the losers, and esp Gingerfurball on SOTW:j
Oh dear, not been a good week here :o. After pulling back the holiday excess for +1 last week, had a bit of a splurge over Easter (don't want to think about the amount of butter OH put in the fish pie he made on Fri:eek:), plus it's been star week, so it's +2.5 this week :(.
However am not giving up (as would probably have done in the past), here's to getting back on track and back to losing ways ;).
Hope you all have a good week and are enjoying the lighter evenings :)

Just saw an ad for the Actifry - does anyone have one of these? How many Syns would chips be done in one of those?

I have one and love it. You can also do roast potatoes and vegetables in it, along with loads of recipes according to the book they supply, however I've never tried them.

If you follow the instructions you'll need to count syns for the spoonful of oil, but you can spray the chips with Frylight instead and they are then completely FREE! :j

Good to see you Mrs Ryan :)

Busy weekend with it being Easter and littlie's 2nd birthday - lots of happy memories made but also a little down/frustrated that I haven't managed to lose any substantial amount of weight.

Hey ho it's life and natural I guess! I have had a gain over the weekend (thanks to mil's cooking...for someone who has had a gastric band she still doesn't eat well - bacon sandwiches on white with butter - ick! always have to tell her no butter! she has lots of wine/vodka - I had two small wines over the weekend, and tons of chocolate exactly like she was told not to eat! anyway her choice!) it's already moving though as I checked this morning so I'm putting it down to getting a bit 'clogged up' (sorry tmi!) whilst away as well as not the best food

26 weeks until our family moon and I would like to have lost 2st by then (which will put me at exactly 1st heavier than pre pregnancy) which is 28lb so 1.08lb per week average - do able for sure! To protect myself I have got SW syn free chicken chow mein, beef in red onion gravy and burgers in the freezer from Iceland so when OH and littlie are having less SW friendly meals I can still make better choices. Also have a muscle food order due which has low syn chicken sausages, free mince and chicken breasts in so I am going to batch cook a few low/no syn dishes to have on standby too :)

new favourite breakfast: wholemeal toast (heB) with 1tbsp peanut butter and a banana - lush and super filling! and only 4syns for the peanut butter (actually that's for a tbsp. and I only use just over half that as it's thinly spread on two slices from a 400g loaf just for ahint of flavour :) )

    So yesterday:
breakfast:half of what I posted above; 1/2 HeB plus 2syn
(very late) lunch: salad with chicken breast and free dressing
tea: second half of breakfast (2syn)
syns: 5 in chocolate plus a bourbon biscuit (4/5?)
drinks: hardly anything - very very dehydrated

    today:
    breakfast: as above 4 syn
morning drinks: 2 cups of tea (milk from HeA) plus NAS squash
lunch: I have an ASDA 'good and counted' protein pot but can't find the syn value anywhere!
mid afternoon:natural yogurt (free from aldi) with some defrosted red berries, couple of sliced strawberries and some zero syrup
tea: jacket potato with something and salad. depends what I cook the others!

lush - Which Asda pot do you have? I can run it through the calculator. Also you could try PB2 if you want to save some syns, it's powdered low fat peanut butter. 1 syn per tablespoon, you mix it up with water to get it back to a paste. Got mine from Amazon, but I think health food shops stock it too.

    Today...
Breakfast - Eggs on toast (B1, 3 for spread)
    Lunch - Chicken salad
    Dinner - Leftover chilli
Snacks - Fruit, cereal bars (B2)

Haven't used my A yet, not sure what I feel like. May have a hot chocolate for pudding.
