I was thinking of going later towards the end of the weigh in time, although I would literally be just waiting about at home to go lol.0

Thanks for the birthday wishes, maman.
Beanie, OH didn't make them - he got someone else to do it. Although I do agree he is clever to have got them. But he always seems to find new ways to sabotage my SW efforts and in this case my Dechox. I have paid a BIG fine to BHF for that cupcake!
Ah well, back on it today, although the remaining cupcakes are calling to me!

Evening all
Back in the UK now, cases unpacked and ready to start setting up the shop tomorrow ready for Easter.
I feel like I've been completely off track for the last 3 days so it's back to normal tomorrow as well - I went to Morrisons earlier for some supplies for the next few days including plenty of speed food.
I'm in 2 minds whether to weigh myself tomorrow - they're different scales so there might be a discrepancy, I have a theory that I retain fluid when I'm travelling, and I'm tempted to try to undo any damage between now and my normal weigh in day, Monday. I think I've made up my mind, lol!
New Me - When I attended group there was a lot of clapping, some of it unnecessary, but the consultant was good at drawing out problems and then encouraging the members to suggest ideas. It is possible to stick to plan without attending group if you're motivated enough. Several people on this thread do, including me.
Congratulations Psycho and happy birthday for yesterday Greentiger - never mind about paying the fine, the Heart Foundation is a worthy cause so eating the cake was a good thing.
Back tomorrow.

Some consultants seem to have the skill and confidence to initiate proper discussion but mine doesn't. She just follows a script and trots out all the same questions every week.
This is exactly the problem. If the chat was across the room it would be useful/interesting, but instead it's a series of 2 person chats so very linear/stilted.0 -
Hi all, sorry I've been MIA, v busy week but work situation looking good (change of role, fewer hours, not office based) so that's a relief. New car going well also.
Weigh in on Friday was not so good though: 0.5lb gain please ShalaTrying SP days again this week but have made the mistake of trying a couple of recipes with syns in (Crustless Quiche and Beef and Mushroom Stroganoff) - as I normally keep my food free and save syns for treats and sugar in my coffee, I've been really high on my syns all week. Tomorrow will be better so fingers crossed for Friday.
Hope everyone is well, hope to catch up with you all over the weekend. PS Have you SEEN how many syns in an Easter egg? :eek:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I think that's a good plan. I think you're right about the water retention. It's classic after a flight but even with the ferry it can happen because you're not so mobile. It should all be sorted by Monday.
Good to hear you're back home safe and sound.:)0 -
Checking in with -2lb. Guessing I'll put some on over weekend though. Hope everyone has a fab Easter.
Well done to SOTW and all other losers :T0 -
Morning,
Gosh I'm sore across my middle! Goes to show what a year off an exercise class does!
Its like winter here again. I woke up this morning craving soup - very strange so think I'll be digging some out of the freezer tonight. Hopefully theres some BNS & Chilli Soup in there. Its a rest day so with a side of roast chicken I'll be all set.
I am tired as well, but sleeping like a baby from all the exercise.
Don't think I'll be bothering with an Easter Egg this year. I'd rather have a nice bar of Lindt Chilli or Lime Intense.0 -
Welcome back Lois! Winter sure went quick.
I went to my local supermarket early this morning (it's usually dead at that time) hoping to avoid the last minute panic buyers but they were already there! Crowds of them all grabbing at Easter eggs. Same happened last year, you'd think they would have learned by now.
I have an Easter Egg which is a big Lindt one. But sharing with DH, he's getting the actual egg and I'm getting the truffles, so we're both happy. I haven't really missed chocolate on Dechox though, so it will be interesting to see how much comes back after reintroducing it.
Have been on plan this week but suffering with PMS so really not looking forward to weigh in this week. But to be honest, the fact most of my friends have left or are thinking of leaving is really putting me off group so between the two, I'm properly dreading going. Think I might try a new one although I don't have many convenient options.0
