My legs are one of the skinniest parts of me Shala, it always goes off them first so I'm taking this as a good sign that the rest will follow. Its my waist - or lack of that really needs to reduce! It would be nice to see a nice number on the scales but I'm trying to move away from that for now.

Your sounding really focused:T Plenty of time for us to put good work in now for the summer !

Funny how we are all different.
My legs are like tree stumps wrong. They are truly dire.
    I hate them.

I have always said that I have upside down legs!! My mum bless her as always called me "sporty," but there's no getting away from cankles!!!:rotfl:

Feeling grotty, cold turned into a chest infection and thus asthma is bad. Still fairly immobile, but see the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully getting one of those air boots on Wednesday. As for SW I don't have a clue, I am praying that I've maintained.

    Beanie -
was it on this thread or another that you're re-homing beanies....surely you'll have to change your pseudonym if you get rid of your namesake !!:D;).

Well done belsy and rebster. I love to see the losses coming in .:j

Sounds like you're really toning up well lantanna. Are your exercises focused on slimming various parts of the body or just general fitness?

Some people just lose slowly though, it all adds up in the end, so keep going! Feel free to post your menu's on here daily and we can see if we can spot anything.

I'd say the same Amanda. I averaged 1.5lbs a week all the time I was getting to target. Bigger losses only came when I'd STS inexplicably for a couple of weeks. If you post your menus on here we could advise as you go along unlike the consultant who only sees food diaries afterwards.

Hope all had nice weekends, football was rubbish for me this weekend (boo!)

Football was brilliant here!! From the depths of despair to elation in 45 minutes!! And we were first on MOTD! :D

As the match started at a strange time I didn't have lunch before going into the city centre. There wasn't time to go into a caff and I actually stood outside a chippie and wrestled with my conscience. Successfully!:T I managed with my fun size Crunchie and coffee until I got home and snacked on beetroot and ham while dinner was cooking.

I'm off to the theatre tonight and a pub meal beforehand. I've had SW breakfast (kippers), I've plenty of SW friendly LOs for lunch but then it'll be off plan. Straight back on it tomorrow for 3 days before our Easter break.

Well done, whiplash, June, Abbafan, Rebster, Kaz, BelsyBoop and musogirl.

    That’s a great NSV, lantanna.

I hate my legs too. :(:( And I am scunnered – 2lbs on for me.This Dechox is not having the side effect I’d hoped for.:mad::mad::mad: I’m weighing everything that needs to be weighed, marking off an extra ½ syn of something is e.g. 6 ½ on my syns tracker, Oh well, no point feeling sorry for myself. Known dangers this week are lunch out on Friday and friends for dinner on Sunday (I should be in control there). It’s 2 weeks until the whole family goes away for the week (not far). If I haven’t started losing before then, I don’t know what I’ll do. Determined to make a good (re)start.

    Hello, Amanda.

Did I mention Falkirk beat Rangers? I see Southampton copied our approach to winning games, maman, although we didn’t have a penalty saved and our first goal was 18 mins from end! Hair raising stuff.

After a very indulgent weekend, I went to Iceland on the way home yesterday. Freezer is packed with slimming world dinners and soup. Also got a free 5kg turkey that will feed me for most of the week. Had a sneaky look at the scales this morning. 4lbs up since Friday. Hoping I'll manage to get it off this week for a STS. I have an Easter Egg on the counter looking at me but already made up my mind it won't be opened for another few weeks at least. I do have a Simnell cake ordered for collection on Thursday though. Has to be at least a month's worth of syns in one of those:rotfl:

  • Morning all - I joined my class on Saturday - the consultant was very friendly and full of beans. She spent a good 25 minutes at the start showing the programme to myself and the other 3 who joined (thanks for the tip re: the Bella magazine :D )

Then she spent (what I thought was ages) doing the IMAGE therapy - it seems like a well motivated group. There's a very active facebook page for the classes she runs...loads of food pictures being posted and the consultant herself high profile. She has lost 6.5 stone in total but moved to Canada and gained 3.5 stone...she came back here put herself on the programme and she's 11lbs away from being back at target again.

So I started yesterday rather than wait till today. The fact that me and MrGFB didn't have a big dirty take away from the chinese is probably a good boost to start! I did have my *weekend wine* but I'll take that from my syns bank (consultant quite encourages a syns bank - possibly because she does that)

    Food today:
B: porridge made with almond milk (hea and b) with blueberries
L: total 0% greek yogurt and raspberries
D: salmon with roasted red pepper sauce, green veg and maybe sweet potato *fries*
    ...saving syns for weekend wine

I bet they are not, mind you I'd be happier with fatter legs if I could have bit more of a waist.:rotfl:

Im trying to learn to accept myself good bits and bad and just do the best with what I've been given. Trying I say trying lol

Not been feeling well all weekend, have got a chest infection and breathing not too good. Have started on antibiotics & steroid tablets and beginning to feel a bit better.

Have stuck loosely to plan but probably not as much speed as I should have had.

    Having a Green day today:

    B - boiled eggs & soldiers (0.5 HEB1)
L - red pepper & sweet potato soup
    D - jacket potato, baked beans & cheese (0.5 HEB1)

May have a few Ryvita later with scrape of butter.

Only syns so far has been for a scrape of butter on the soldiers for breakfast.

Well done on giving the Chippie a miss Maman !
The smell would probably have lured me in!

At the minute I am exercising at least 5 times a week. It has to be Hiit and I do mine mostly done on the cross trainer or treadmill. Think giving it your all really for 25 mins with little breathers in between. Been out doing some power walks as well in the park.

In the next stage I continue with those Hiit sessions 5 times a week but add in 30 mins of weight training on top of that every time.

I'm for flat belly class tonight, so what if I'm bigger than when I had to stop going I've decided, time to get back. Hot Yoga booked for Friday as well.

So yes I may not be as slim as I would like but I'm full of energy and loving the feel good factor from all the exercise and if I can shave inches of myself its all good I think.
