Thank all for you thoughts. Family politics are rubbish and I can see this being a really tricky at the funeral.
Having been up until 5am with Superman Mr H left me in bed until lunchtime to catch up on some sleep.
Big Aldi shop today and I headed out to iceland afterwards for some freezer bits. The fridge is full of yummy sw friendly foods and I seem to be back in the zone headwise.
today:
Melon, muller light, aldi bar (3 or 1/2 b not sure yet!)
Bowl of veggie bol sauce, handful of strawberries
Veggie bean tikka with bombay potatoes, onion bharjis and salad.
(A )will be a hot chocolate (2) and maybe another aldi bar for (b)
syns maybe some chocolate or some crisps or both

I'm glad you feel like that. I noticed that the consultant at this week's group has definitely put on weight since I last saw her and the person who does the weighing at my own group always had a ready excuse why she hasn't lost. She's given up now in that she comes and helps with weighing and then she leaves before Image Therapy. It's good that consultants have done SW themselves but they need to maintain or they're not very good adverts IMO.
maman, sometimes I swear we go to the same group but I'm sure you wouldn't travel this far over! :rotfl:0 -
Good to read about your losses musogirl and whiplashy and well done on the shiney too june.:T

Have a safe journey and enjoy your meal this evening lois.
Forgot to say that I called into our little Local shop (one of those that used to be Morrisons) last night for milk and had lots of 20p bargains like leeks, new potatoes, a tub of pineapple (eaten;)) and a head of celery. meg would be proud of me.:)
When I first joined SW in 2005 the consultant was a much larger lady and weighed more then anyone else at group  she had lost 2st when she became a consultant but needed to lose 6-7st+ for a "healthy" BMI. I didn't find her weight an issue and in some cases it helped knowing "we were doing it together" rather than her preaching at us.Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Afternoon all...
Who was it that posted about things derailing us in March? I think you've jinxed me :rotfl: I now have a further 2 meals out that I hadn't planned for and a big hamper of liquorice turned up on my doorstep this morningI give up!!
Well done our greatest losers - june and Abbafan :T:T Also some brilliant losses coming in from everyone else! :T:T
Welcome to the board dippydooda - love the name :rotfl:
We had the braising steaks for tea last night too maman... I think they're a staple round this board now :rotfl: thanks for introducing them to us!
I love my little 500..I only go to work and back in him so not really down the motorway but I suppose if you're used to a bigger car then I can understand the feeling of being too little.. I always laugh when OH gets in it - he's 6'4
I loved having the 40 presents but it did take a while to open and OH said he was completely sick of wrapping them up so be careful to think of easy wrap pressies if you do go down that route
We're ready for the gun showgood luck with your plan, you have the determination - just imagine that beach body you'll have in time for summer
Right off to sort the chart... then cupcakes to bake for work..
Hope nobody buys 50 gifts for me next week
So sorry for all the sad news, especially losing a child after all they had been through. Losing a child, whatever the cause is heartbreaking (been there, done that) my heart goes out to her family x x x

I don't mind if a consultant isn't at target yet but when they're clearly not on plan week after week, it's hard to take them seriously let alone find them motivating. I think I've said that I've never looked to the consultant for motivation but can definitely see a difference in others who need that.
Forgot to say that I also won the raffle yesterday! Big basket of veg that I now need to work out what to do with, as there's quite a few things in there that I don't normally buy.
Today is EE to use the free veg...
Breakfast - Weetabix, fruit and coffee (A/B)
Lunch - Maybe parsnip soup? Haven't made it before but do like parsnips!
Dinner - Gammon, sweet potato and broccoli
Syns for pudding0 -
Weighed in yesterday morning, lost 1.5lbs, so I'm now 0.5lb away from my 4st award!
I also won the Raffle....The prize was "free food feasts" book, but I have just bought this one, so the consultant let me trade it for another book. I had the "love desserts" one instead. :j
There are quite a few people in my group who are very un-motivated & a lot don't stay. I don't think there's anything wrong with our consultant, she's fab. I just think they are not 100% committed to it.
The group sometimes does go on a bit, but I don't mind. I look forward to it every week. I help out a lot as well.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
So sorry for your losses Mary H and Hurdy Gurdy x
Tete - sorry you're having a rubbish time at work. When does your probation end? I wouldn't worry about your CV too much, lots of short lived jobs are a red flag but loads of people take jobs that aren't right for them and leave quickly at some point in their lives. I'm cross on your behalf nonetheless!
Late with my weigh in yet again sorrySTS for me this week, have been pretty off plan also well deserved and only saved by not having time to eat some meals and stress calorie burning! Work should settle down this week but not having the best time at the mo for various reasons - really going to try to stick to it this week though as its one thing I can control that will make me feel better.

Well done Abbafan on your loss and fingers crossed that 4st shiney will have your name on it next week. We seem to have quite a few members at the moment who could possibly benefit from staying to Image Therapy but choose to weigh and run. Our consultant knows they are struggling but at times it is difficult to help people who aren't prepared to help themselves as harsh as that may sound. We have a lovely group of people and a fab consultant who has lost around 4st and been at target as far as I know for 3 years. For some of us at class we see our Mondays nights as our night out haha. Many of us have become friends outside of SW too. I think as people lose weight, confidence grows and it all helps with self-esteem.
Well done on your loss June and on your new shiney :T and to all others reporting losses.
Hugs to shrimpy and anyone else who is going through a rough time atm. x
Lovely day weatherwise today so far so got lots of washing out on the line (nothing beats the lovely smell of line-dried washing) and got a good bit of housework done - even shifted the bedroom furniture (bit like a krypton factor puzzle) so that I could give it a good vacuum.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
