Evening all
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend
Despite my best intentions I've managed to fall behind on the thread yet again,s o really hope everyone is well
Very pleased to say that I have weighed in this evening with a loss of 3.1lbsThis puts me 1lb away from club 10, so feeling rather pleased, especially after struggling over the last few weeks.
Have made a couple of changes this week that I think have really helped boost my loss. I've made a conscious effort to slow down my eating, and to only snack if I'm actually hungry. As a result, I've been using a lot less syns on snacks (I used to have an alpen light every afternoon - this week I realised I was doing that totally out of habit rather than out of hunger!), so have been incorporating more syns into my meals (previously I tried to keep meals as low syn as possible). Hopefully it will keep working this week!!0 -
Hi all, busy weekend with Grandma in A&E - thankfully a water infection rather than a broken hip which is what was suspected - so bizarre the effects a water infection can have!
Haven't had chance to catch up but wanted to report my 0.5 lb gain from Friday
Will chat more tomorrow xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Hello everyone, I started slimming-world again
four weeks ago and haven't lost much. Its really starting to annoy me. I keep to plan drink water etc, but only losing 1/2 lb at a time or I stay the same. I have done slimming-world before and done well so what am I doing wrong
My consultant had a look at my food diary and can't see anything wrong
I wonder if I'm losing inches not pounds any help ladies much appreciated. Well done all From a very depressed Amanda.

So sorry for your losses Mary H and Hurdy Gurdy x
-0.5lb for 2 weeks ago please Shala (sorry it's late) and away last week in Suffolk (so no WI).
Decided to enjoy some meals out without thinking about SW, so had some lovely treats, but now trying to get back on track to undo the damage.
Well done on the great losses being posted - there's some serious shinny's being achieved :T0 -
Morning,
So 2 weeks for me until I submit my measurements etc. Got my mum to take my measurements on Friday as now half way through the first cycle. She took them at the beginning so she'll be consistent.
Still not lost any weight, but one inch of my bust and one and a half inches off each leg.
Bit disappointed nothing off my waist yet, but at least something is happening.
So it goes to show that the scales aren't everything. Another 2 weeks now to hopefully get some more off!0 -
Morning you lovelies
Hope your nan's ok Tete.. Sorry to hear she's been in hospital but glad it's nothing serious xx
Great loss Rebster and Horseykaz hope you enjoyed your break
I'm back on track today *determined face* just took my first weigh in and some before pictures in my pants  I've put loads back on, so annoyed, but we can't change the past... Onwards and downwards.
Must take some measurements, thanks Lantanna for reminding me. 1.5 inches off your leg must look great, I'd love to get rid of my thighs!! :T are all your trousers starting to get baggy?
Haven't planned today's menu yet, but I'm off work so not an issue. I was going to try poached eggs in the microwave - has anyone tried it. Put some water in a mug, crack your egg in then microwave for 50 seconds. I imagine the timing differs depending on the wattage of the microwave so I'm expecting the first one to be a disaster :rotfl:
Right off to try and a find a tape measure! Have a wonderful day xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi everyone!
Hope all had nice weekends, football was rubbish for me this weekend (boo!) but it was lovely to see England take the 6 nations with a grandslam.
It's -1.5lb off for me this week please Shala.
In this challenge my losses don't seem to be as big but it's partially to not 100% sticking on plan, I defo need to have a few weeks of staying 100% on.
Hugs to everyone, keep plodding along. xx0 -

how much have you lost in the 4 weeks? Is it only the last few weeks you've been struggling.
Could you up the amount of speed food you eat? Maybe look at how big your portion sizes are or how many carbs you eat, as this slows some people down.
Some people just lose slowly though, it all adds up in the end, so keep going! Feel free to post your menu's on here daily and we can see if we can spot anything.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
