    Yes, delighted for you lois.:T

I'm off to WI this morning. Will report back on size of gain later;).
  • Checking in to report +2lb gain. Lucky it wasn't more tbh. Tesco shop coming tonight so hopefully a better week this week.

Hugs to all and congrats to the losers
    xx
  • Morning all - jut caught up...:)

Had a very bad weekend (I keep sabotaging myself by good weeks and bad weekends!!) but that's all the birthdays done now for a while (after a meal out tonight for SIL's birthday - but will probably get a steak so won't have too much damage.

    Happy belated birthday maman :)

    Morning all :D

Reporting in with a loss of 1lb this week. :j

I'm so pleased, you'd think I'd lost 10lbs! My mini target - to have lost 40lbs before I leave Spain (next Monday ) - now seems very doable. I have 2 dinners out this week though so it's going to be a challenge. I'll also be out next Saturday, but those are the only days I'm going to drink alcohol and I'll be attempting some EESP days in between and drinking more water as well. Does tonic water (slimline) count as water? I drink quite a lot of that instead of wine.

Candyapple - hope you're feeling better today. Love the 40 small presents idea for your DH birthday. It would be great to hear what you buy if you don't mind sharing.

All these 40th birthdays are making me feel old - my DD is 38 this year so we'll be celebrating her 40th in 2 years time. It seems like only a few years since she left school. :o

Good luck to everyone for your weigh ins, have a good week.

    LL :)

    Well done Lois. :T

I think the allowance dippy for the Almond Milk (Alpro unsweetened) was 1litre for HEa - so you would be allowed 500mls for half HEa. As Lois says, they do vary between makes though. :)

Talking of milestones our DS is 30 this year, DH is 60 next year (love the idea of all the little pressies Candyapple but I think I might struggle thinking of 60 ) and then the following year it will be our 40th anni. Oh how could I forget my lovely mum - 90 next year.

Forgot to have a sneeky peek at scales this morning so have no idea of how things will be at wi tonight but what I do know for sure is that the loo issues have reared their ugly little heads again . Will report back in later tonight with the results.

    Hi everyone :j

Hope you all had lovely weekends - been sunny on the south coast but still a bit nippy in the wind!

Pleased to report a loss of -2.5lb this week, which after last weeks disappointing loss, has put me back on track.

Congrats to all the losses coming in and hugs to anyone who needs them :):)

Welcome dippy:). If it helps to have a sachet then Oats so Simple original and honey flavour are HEBs. Lots of cereal bars are on there too of you need something easy and quick. If you've got more time then I'd have something substantial for breakfast.

The normal sachets were removed from the HEB list a few years ago, they don't have enough oats in the packet to qualify unfortunately! I think the multigrain ones still count, but I haven't been able to find these in ages (and I just portion out myself now as mentioned).

Dippy - I used to split my HEs a lot. This was so I could have both milk and cheese. But now that I rarely have cheese, I just use the full allowance on milk but split between cereal and coffee. Half is easiest, but you can really use any percentage as long as you're sure of the maths!

Red day today, because as always I forgot I was having cheese with dinner!
Breakfast - Weetabix, berries, coffee (A1,B1)
    Lunch - Turkey salad
Dinner - Nacho feast lettuce cups (A2)
Snacks - Hifis (B2) and some syns

Happy Belated Birthdays to Maman and Shala.

I'm not far behind you Shala, I'll be 37 this year : ( still 21 inside though :rotfl:

Your garden sounds lovely Meg, I don't know many people that would dig up 300 daffs! :T

At the minute my diet is very clean, the only time I am meant to be eating carbs is directly after exercise. Meant to be sticking to the low sugar veg - so mostly green ones and some healthy fats are allowed.

In the 2nd phase there is a lot of work with weights and that's when more carbs come in. Sort of a bulking. The 3rd and final phase is shredding to reveal the muscle you have built.

I'm meant to be staying off the scale and going on my measurements at the end of the first 30 days but of course I have looked and haven't lost anything. However my skin is better and I have more energy and am embracing the exercise and enjoying it so will stick with it and see it through.

Such a lovely lovely day here today, may take myself off for a long walk tonight with my earphones in : )

My DH was given a Fiat 500 as a courtesy car recently. I think it has a lovely retro look but he felt it was like a pedal car and (more seriously) felt quite intimidated on the motorway with the lorries going by and so little power.

I love my little 500.. :D I only go to work and back in him so not really down the motorway but I suppose if you're used to a bigger car then I can understand the feeling of being too little.. I always laugh when OH gets in it - he's 6'4 :D
(love the idea of all the little pressies Candyapple but I think I might struggle thinking of 60 )

I loved having the 40 presents but it did take a while to open and OH said he was completely sick of wrapping them up so be careful to think of easy wrap pressies if you do go down that route

Hi, hoping you slimming world geniuses can help please. My son ( aged 26), is a Paramedic and consequently mobile all day. He wants to do slimming world but is reliant on packed lunch food as he is never at base. As he is mobile, there is no fridge facility. He takes a flask of soup but is now looking towards salad or similar. What can he put protein wise with the salad which won't need refrigerating? He is reluctant to take meats/egg etc due to the heat in the vehicle. Someday he eats at lunch time, others, he's on a job and it may be delayed by several hours so it needs to be keep-able.
    Thanks for any suggestions.
