Happy birthday Maman! :j
Well done on your award Abbafan
I made overnight oats for the first time yesterday and they were very nice! I couldn't eat it all for breakfast (added lots of fruit and yogurt), am I right in thinking it would be ok to make a large pot and pick at it during the day as long as I count the oats as HEB/ syns? That would be really handy when the babies are being demanding and I don't have time for a proper meal…..
Enjoy your new car Tete! Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
You've all been so kind. Thank you so much for all your good wishes.:A
I've had a lovely birthday, thoroughly spoiled. I did have a SW breakfast.:D
Back on plan tomorrow:).0 -
I read an interview yesterday in the paper with one of the hairy bikers. Of course the interview had to include a reminder about the diet club website that has their name to it...
Has anyone joined their diet club? I did for a bit join nutracheck in an effort to inspire me. I kind of was doing slimming world but using the nutracheck site but I found the nutracheck way a bit of a faff because with sw of course you can simply throw some chopped fruit in a box and get on with your day but with the nutracheck diary, I would need to tell it how much of which fruit was in the box.
I need a kick up the proverbial but don't know what to do
I'm reluctant to join a club that is calorie counting which is the impression I get about the hairy bikers site but as you can't trial it, its impossible to know for sure. Has anyone used their diet club and how did you get on with it?0 -

Absolutely - there are no rules about when you eat your Healthy Extra, just about how many/how much you can have.

First, try 'Webuyanycar.com', you might be happy with how much they offer you and go for that. If they don't offer what you think it's worth, advertise it on Autotrader. You'll need to pay - about £30 I think, it's been a few years since I used it, but lots of people search for cars on there so you will reach a large audience.
Be prepared for viewings, know all the details about the car, and think about how you'll manage test drives, you don't want some scallywag driving off with it.
Good luck.

FE - I have never even looked at their site but given their dieting books are completely about calorie counting, I would expect the club to be exactly the same. I wouldn't personally join a calorie club as I can do the same thing on MFP for free, the fact I paid doesn't motivate me either way.
Ruby - As Lois already said, there's no rule on when you eat your HEs. If I make something like the scanbran cake, I will snack on it throughout the day rather than eat all in one go - which is almost physically impossible to do! :rotfl:
Feeling really bloated from my EE day yesterday, not good! So back on SP today...
Breakfast - Usual weetabix with berries and latte (A,B1)
Lunch - Fridge rummage required! Probably an omelette
Dinner - Lettuce wrapped fajitas
ETA: I always forget to include B2 and syns! Usual Hifis for B, not sure on syns yet but visiting family today so probably keep them for that.
Will be heading out shortly. Hope you're all having a lovely day, it's chilly here but spring is definitely in the air. Love this time of year.0 -
Hi everyone
I've been MIA for a few days thanks to another delightful cold bug  so have been ridiculously off plan, mainly just eating cereal and not much else. I'm still totally loaded but the headache and sore throats have gone so back on the eating properly wagon. I had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning and have a tiny gain so 3 days to get rid of that.
Happy belated birthdays shala and maman
My OH is having his 40th at the end of the month, I love the idea of 40 little presents! Having a shopping day tomorrow while our windows are (finally!) getting fitted so I can make a decent start.
Today's food - EE day would have been SP if I'd not had a yoghurt this morning without thinking
B - baked oats with nectarine and satsuma
L - chicken salad with egg mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions & beetroot
T - sausage casserole using BGTY sausages, baked beans, chopped tomatoes and extra veg
I didn't end up trying the BGTY burgers they are still in my freezer, but OH wolfed them down so they must have been good!0 -

Yes I don't fancy calorie counting which is why really slimming world is the bees knees but I did think incorporating something different might inspire me.0 -
Hi everyone. I am starting SW tomorrow. I have less than a stone to lose so not joining a group, have bought the books and hopefully can figure it out as I go along. Fingers crossed! Can anyone just please confirm for me that 2x Weetabix original is ok for my hexB? It's not on my list. I normally eat a porridge sachet but wow how many syns!! Thanks in advance0

Afternoon
Well, I had intended to do a general post this morning but after doing 2 replies I suddenly couldn't get on line so I gave up and I've been busy ever since.
dippydoda - hi, welcome to the thread. Lots of us do SW without attending classes, lots of the information and recipes are available online and you will get plenty of help and support here on this thread. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. In answer to your query re Weetabix, yes, 2 is a HEB. There's a link to the HEB list on the opening post as well as a list of speed fruit and veg which you'll find useful.
Abbafan - well done for your award. :T That's a great picture too, you must be really pleased with yourself for doing so well. Are you nearly at target?
Hi FE - no idea about the Hairy Bikers but some of their recipes adapt very well to SW. I often think they could easily reduce the calories even more in their recipes by replacing oil with Frylight for example. I can't be bothered with calorie counting either.
Hope everyone's having an enjoyable weekend, hugs to the poorly ones.
