Happy birthday Shala! Hope you had a lovely day.
Was astounded at WI this week - despite being Very Due On (aka 2 days late), I lost 1.5 lbs. We had the Greatest Loser and a tasting, and I've discovered the Best Things Ever - M&S mini lemon meringues. Apparently 1/2 syn each, or 7 syns for the whole tub. I'm off to M&S tomorrow to get some for those occasions where I need to eat a boxful of something! We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Fantastic, rubyslippers, Loupyluck, Tete, shrimp, Emmylou and beanie.
That sounds like a great birthday, shala.
This is how today went –
Breakfast: hexb muesli
Lunch (out): chicken burger – delicious chicken fillets in a brioche bun, with salad, onion rings, half a portion each of skinny chips and coleslaw. I didn’t have pudding or the wee shortbread that came with the tea because of the Dechox, but, as my friend was indulging I had biscuits and cheese with grapes (I ate about half of the cheese and biscs and all of thegrapes.
Dinner: baked potato, beans
Snack: toast with smoked salmon pate
That means I went well over my syns for the day. I hope it doesn’t impact too much on my week.

 Grrrrrr why do computers sometimes do that - go 'back' on the browser when you press the backspace key and lose all your writing?!
Good morning! It's a beautiful day here and the cat is currently stretched across the kitchen table in a pool of sunlight, in her element :smileyhea
This morning it became apparent why weigh in may have been a bit disappointing (and why I may have been a *tad* over-emotional mid-week), and it's come just in time to stop me going completely off track all weekend :j
So I feel a bit better and quite motivated. About to try baked oats for breakfast! I want to have a go at an SP day or two this week but want to make sure I'm getting it right:
- one HEA
- two HEBs
- up to 15 syns
- all other food must be S or P, with no free food such as pasta, bananas or mullerlights
- 50% of each plate must be S
Is that right? Presumably you're allowed a little frylight or oxo cubes though yes? I'm thinking along the lines of:
B- Porridge with berries or apple (A and
D - Some kind of soup, chicken and speed veg?, with bread (HEB2)
T - Chicken/fish with roast med veg
TIA for the advice :kisses3:
I'm off out to look at cars today - I bought a new (to me) C3 five months ago but things keep going wrong and I don't really like it, and I still have Dad's car sitting on the drive, so I'm going to see about part-exchanging both for a decent, not-too-old Fiesta. I would have driven Micras forever if only they'd kept them the cute square shape. Unfortunately even the latest ones of those are all getting very old now so it's time to move on *SOB* Have a great day all! xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning all, I've started my day with two enormous marshmallows:o 750 syns down already :rotfl:
Tete - that looks OK to me for SP.. Happy new car shopping. I used to always have corsa's but they seem to get bigger with each new model. I have a fiat 500 now and love the cutenessalthough the door handle fell off the other day
I didn't eat all my fish and chips shrimpy, but they were nice. OH happily scoffed the rest of minewe bypassed the sweet shop and bakery too cos we are :A (not really we already had cake waiting for us at home:rotfl:) it's a good day out if you're into that sort of thing...
I made you a :bdaycake: maman, have a fantastic day, hope OH is taking you somewhere lovely to eat! x

Happy car shopping Tete - I've gone back to a Micra (Matilda) from a Fiesta but my Fiesta was a super old one with no power steering, it was like driving a tank - the Micra feels so light in comparison! Downside is I no longer have anything to blame my bad parking on other than my lack of skills! Hi all... I've been hiding away. After being poorly I was hoping for a loss but no luck, I gained 1lb last week. Had a VERY not on plan week (no excuse) and somehow managed to lose 0.5lb this week! Weird.
Overall on a gain though for the challengemust try harder!

Good Morning everyone,
Happy Birthday Maman, have a lovely day.
Arkers x0 -
Tete - You can use all of the storecupboard staples on SP so frylight, stock, herbs, etc are all fine.
Happy birthday maman! Lots of cake in the thread this week!
Only a quick post from me but possibly my best week ever... 4lbs loss, SOTW and greatest loser! :eek:0 -
