Made some SW friendly coleslaw with quark this morning, and it was lovely! So surprised :) I didn't have much quark left, so it was just a sample to see if it was worth making for dinner tonight. I'll have to go get some more. SW KFC chicken, coleslaw, some other veg, and salad potato for dinner then :)

Morning (well, just as I type this - it'll probably be afternoon by the time I hit reply :p) all! My usual Friday cheeky peek at the scale is showing a good loss, fingers crossed it holds for tomorrow's weigh in. Haven't heard from my consultant yet whether I'll be getting the greatest loser prize, but I know she's not planning on doing the usual party for it anyway. So I think she'll just announce it at group with any other awards. Fine by me!

    Today is SP...
Breakfast - Usual weetabix, berries and latte (A,B1)
Lunch - SP soup (still trying to use up the batch, it's huge :rotfl:)
Dinner - Need to think about this, as DH just said he's going out so current plans scrapped
Snacks - Hifi (B2) and some syns

I had a call from an agent today about a fab job in the next town, she thinks I'd be really good for it. So fingers crossed!

    Hi Everyone,

Feeling a lot better today, pain now subsided a bit and under control. Shala, the big 40, sounds like your DH pushed the boat out and made your day really special:A.

I've been really impressed with my DH he weighed and made my 35g of porridge, has lined up a ham salad for lunch and has chicken breast and SW chips and salad lined up for tea. I have been particularly crabby and demanding and had him running around at my beck and call for the last couple of days.:T
He is Welsh and I'm English so the rugby this weekend is always interesting I almost feel that it would be good if his team won...almost!:D. Whatever the result I hope it is an exciting game.

Tweets, sshhh, but Tug is having extra duvet time with me at the moment. He's not normally allowed on the bed, but I need my pal with me at the mo:rotfl:.

Well done on the new challenge everyone. Hope to be back in the fold for the next one.
    Arkers x

:j:j:j Well done Tugs snuggle up to your mummy :D

Poppy sleeps with me wouldn't have it any other way ;)

Glad to hear you're feeling better today arkers.:)

I've done my meal plan and shop this afternoon. It's been a glorious day here, warm and sunny.

I didn't realise it was a big birthday shala. I do hope you're having a really great time sounds like your OH and colleagues all made a fuss of you. You deserve it!:T.

Thanks for the heads up on the slaw newme. I'm told that Aldi has started selling quark. Has anyone seen it? Oh, and in the magazine there's a packet of jalfrezi mix from Asda I wanted to try but I can't find that either.:(

It's my birthday tomorrow and I'm sure DH and I will go out to eat. I haven't weighed for several weeks now so I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet, go to a WI very soon and hope that I'm still in target range. It's only going to get worse over Easter.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: LO chicken casserole minus chicken
D: sausage tray bake with Mediterranean veg (aubergine, courgette, red onions, peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms) with new potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.
Syns: squirt of syrup, 2 for sausages, weekend wine:j

Hello again, finally time to relax and catch up.

shala - have you got anything planned for the weekend to continue celebrating your birthday? I dreaded turning 40 and resisted planning anything, but as it turned out, the celebrations were spread over several days ending with a party. It was slightly overshadowed by the funeral of Princess Diana though.

Denise - have a lovely time.

Arkers - glad you're feeling better today and not in pain. Get well soon.

Well done to the losers and commiserations if you've gained.

    Back tomorrow.

Nothing planned in particular.. I just get to do what I want :D not sure how that differs to most weekends! :rotfl: I'm not one for parties and the like so it's pretty low key.

I tried to get out of celebrations at work, but they were having none of it so that's why we ended up at pizza hut and the presentation..

OH planned lots, he got me 40 presents - mix of sweets, tickets for a musical, silly things and day out to Black Country Museum ( I think that was more for him though as he loves Peaky Blinders and it's filmed there :rotfl:) We've had fish and chips cooked in beef dripping today  no idea of syns in them but I haven't been on plan for weeks so it's not going to make a difference..

Must decide when to get back on track.. we're having a takeaway tomorrow night and then nothing until sister arrives Thursday night, so may try and be good between Sunday-Thursday..:o

Have a wonderful birthday tomorrow maman xx _party__party__party__party_

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow june...

What a romantic your OH is Shala, sounds a wonderful birthday!

Reporting a half a pound loss - taking me to 12st and one stone lost since September (I had a little blip). Pretty disappointed because although I had a good drink at the wedding on Saturday, I had a good dance as well and have been on plan since. Now today obviously I've gone and had a KitKat Chunky, a digestive, fish and chips with bread and butter, half a tube of Pringles and a glass of red wine :wall::wall::wall:

    Back on it tomorrow.

    Must. Not. Sabotage. Self.

Yes my Aldi has it Maman, its in a black and white tub with a green stripe, the brand is 'The Lake District Dairy' - I found it near the cottage cheese if I recall correctly. Cant remember how much it was but not much. Happy birthday for tomorrow!

And happy birthday Shala!! Hope you enjoyed the Black Country Museum, the fish and chips are lovely but huge portions - I think they cook the chips in dripping (?) so they're very filling.

1.5lb off for me so not quite enough to undo last week but a good step in the right direction. Have had a bit of an off plan evening due to an awful day at work (lovemy job but so so busy atm) but only cheese and crackers, a glass of wine and a bowl of wheatos so nothing too horrendous...
