Could anyone please tell me the syn value of Iceland's Wild Boar and Apple Sausages? Think the brand is Kezie.
Many thanks!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Happy New Year all - hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, even if it didn't do wonders for the waistline (mine included)
. Anyway the line is drawn, and as of Monday am back on plan....
Haven't been on for a while, so think it will take a bit of time to catch up on the posts - however in the mean time welcome to all the newbies :wave:and well done to all the losers and those getting back on track.
Shala could you put me down for a 10lb goal for the challenge please, with a 1.5lb loss for this week - thanks.0 -
STS for me at class this morning.
Couldn't believe how many joiners there were!! I've made a quiche to have at lunchtimes and having bacon wrapped chicken for tea with new pots and green beans so hopefully a good day.0 -
Morning everyone! Checking in with my WI result which is 3lb loss - that's most of my christmas gain gone! :T Happy with this especially as I've not been eating especially SW friendly - not that I've been stuffing my face with chocolate or anything before you all start hating me
but I've not been eating as much as I normally would. Hoping to get back to normal very soon

hope you are feeling better soon candyapple. Seems as though it has been hanging around a while for you now. Sometimes sugar free cough stuff and throat stuff is available so might have fewer syns. Not good having to use syns allowance for that sort of stuff but if it does the trick then it is worth it.
Thanks beg so do I! I had a cold before christmas but it had be feeling nowhere near as horrible as I do now. Coming through the other side now though I hope as I'm feeling better each day although I'll be coughing up a lung soon if it keeps up :rotfl:blue_eyed_girl wrote: »i have also used the adult colouring books which seem to be all over the place atm. Anything to distract from putting things in my mouth.
I was bought one of these for christmas along with some pretty colouring pencils, I've not looked at them yet though. I'd never showed any interest in them before and was thinking why on earth have I been bought this, but now they sound like a fab idea for keeping my mind and hands busy. Might dig them out later and give it a go. Will make a nice change from cross stitch which I usually use when I want to take my mind of eatingabbafan1972 wrote: »do you all have spread on your toast? I generally have flora/clover light and syn it.
Ditto to what others have said. If I have beans / eggs on toast then I'll go without butter or spread as it moistens the toast anyway. I've been known to use the frylight butter as a substitute when I wanted to save my syns for something else, it's really not the same though
Welcome to the newbies and returners :hello: and well done on all the losses coming in :T
Have a great day everyone0 -

That's a great loss. Well Done!!:Tmary_hinge wrote: »
So far so good although today I have had the hunger.....
Hoping to try the slow cooker bbq pulled pork recipe tomorrowmary_hinge wrote: »First weigh in looms tomorrow and I am feeling very underwhelmed about it, I feel really bloated today and if anything heavier!

You really shouldn't be feeling hungry mary. If you do just eat more!!:D I'd suggest that if you eat more free food then you should eat just as much extra Speed to match. That's just my opinion though as many consultants have the 'fill your boots' approach to free food.
Do let us know how you get on with the SC pulled pork.
I think it's common to get times of the week when you feel bloated. That's why weekly WI only is recommended. Just keep posting menus and we'll let you know if there's anything we notice that might be a problem.
I haven't tried any of the SW ready meals as nothing I've read really convinces me. I buy the Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland Pork Sausages at 1 syn each.
Their burgers are good too. At one syn each I don't bother making my own any more.
I agree with you it's better to ban things while you get to target lantanna. I did it with cheese, chocolate and crisps as I couldn't trust myself to be sensible. Great to hear you've got your head back in the zone. I know it was a big Christmas gain but this week's wasn't so bad so just shows you've got yourself back on plan.
My EE menu for today:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: omelette (mushrooms, tomato, spring onions) with pickles (cornichons and pickled cabbage)sausage, mash, carrots, fried onions, cabbage, cauli, peas
Syns: scrape of spread, sausages 2, gravy0 -
I'm the same latanna and mama, I'm banning crisps, choc, alcohol (for Jan), as I know I can't stop at just one bar, or one packet.
I woke up with a migraine today so I skipped breakfast. Going to have HM tomato soup for lunch with a bit of fritata I found in the freezer yesterday followed by pork chop on swede mash and green beans for dinner. Will have my HEA in my coffee and maybe some toast later.
Out of curiosity, how many cups of coffee can I have a day to meet my HEA? I have about 4 cups a day with the normal amount of milk. I drink semi skimmed in my coffee. Would 4 cups take me to my HEA limit?0 -
Finally getting towards the end of the washing marathon! Just one more set of bedding from the motorhome to do. Then it'll be time to start on the "normal" washing again and the home bedding in a day or two.
Have made a batch of curry paste this morning and used half to make a chicken curry for tonight - hoping they'll also be a portion for the freezer, but if not then it'll be lunch tomorrow if it's only a small amount .
It's an EE day today:
B - toast & marmalade (2 for butter and 2 for marmalade) - would have made marmite but had run out so 2 syns "wasted"
L - LO cauli cheese with bacon bits (synned yesterday)
D - HM chicken curry & rice. Curry has onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, celery, pepper & mushrooms in it plus of course loads of different spices. Unfortunately as I was using some cooked chicken which was in the freezer it's gone a bit stringy in the cooking even though they were quite big chunks to start with so probably should have added a bit later than I did but I'm sure it'll taste good.
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 2; marmalade 2.
May have a couple of chocs later @ 2 syns each but only if DH decides to get them out again, LOL! I can ignore them if he doesn't being them into the living room in the evening.
Going to make my salad now to go with the cauli cheese for lunch.

That really depends on how much milk you put in your coffee. I know you save you have a normal amount but everyone's "normal" amount will be different.
The thing to do is to measure out your 250ml of SS milk and put it into a bottle if you need to take it out and about or a jug in the fridge if you're at home and see how much you actually use.
