This week Shala I am reporting in with a 2.5lb loss this week so I'm pretty pleased with that.

I look forward to hearing what you thought of it
Yep I made it in the slow cooker yesterday, then ate half tonight and will have the LO tomorrow. Thought it was very tastyI only wanted to make 2 portions, so roughly halved the recipe. Didn't want to only use half a can of tomatoes as didn't have a use for the other half, so only added 100ml of stock - all in all it worked quite well
Added the apricots towards the end like in the original recipe.

There is a recipe in there which, with a bit of SW adjustment can be free. Its the roast cauliflower and kale soup. Just need to swap oil for frylight and creme fraiche for the 4Fs (fat free fromage frais) or quark. You serve about 25g of roasted chickpeas on top. I know you are supposed to syn a tweak, but is 25g too small to syn a tweak? Or just add them towards end and heat them through.
I will omit the fennel as its one of the veg I hate - I can count the veg I hate on one hand! Spring greens, fennel, celeriac, okra and swede (unless its mixed with carrot). Add a handful of spinach instead.
I will add the recipe later for those that are interested or don't have Asda near to them.

Hello, Rubyslippers and Loopys.
Morello, all I can say is WOW! Well done, BelsyBoop, b_e_g and Tulip.
Congratulations on being SOTW, HurdyGurdy.
Good to see you back after the wedding trip, maman.
Don’t know how it happened, but I managed to lose a whopping 0.4 lbs. It may be a drop in the ocean, but I was expecting a gain, so I am happy about it. I actually have recorded a (meagre) net loss this time, and that takes account of the new scales! I am thrilled! Thanks for being keeper of the records, shala.
As for today, it was ok. Unfortunately, my little furry friend of 18 years (she of my avatar) passed away this evening. We were lucky to have her for so long as she had a heart murmur from birth and developed thyroid issues , which affected her kidneys, a few years ago.
Starting Dechox tomorrow :eek:– any ideas for savoury treats will be most welcome (especially if they require no effort/much forethought!

Flying visit this morning so Happy Birthday Tweets
Sorry about your furry friend greentiger
Well done Morello - I know what you mean about being bewildered that you can eat so much and still lose so much weight
Congrats to Hurdy Gurdy on SOTW.
Thanks Shala for the record keeping and can you put me down for 14lbs for the new challenge please.
Right, a massive +4lbs for week 1. I know I said that this would be an off plan weekend but it just shows how quick the weight goes back on when you take your eye off the ball for a minute!:eek:0 -
Congrats on SOTW Hurdy and on your fantastic loss Morello, and everyone else losing!
So sorry about your cat Greentiger
I was off plan a little over the weekend though not massively. Yesterday was porridge, those ham and egg cup things with mushrooms and spinach (like a quiche but with a slice of ham instead of pastry) - they were really nice! SW frozen Singapore Noodles for tea after yoga. 10 syns altogether.
Today:
Porridge
Horrible veg soup from the freezer
Cottage pie
Will post later in more detail.
Does SW do a monthly goal pledge? I keep seeing "March Goals" on Instagram. If so mine are:
- stay on plan
- get under 12st
- and stay there
- be more experimental with food
Have a lovely day! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

The part in bold is the important bit and it's the end number that will change for the next one.
Thanks for that June, I think I've done it, I'll know later when I come back! :rotfl:
