NSV here in that my middle is feeling less wobbly.
Friday at long last! HM Burgers with SW chips and salad for t, looking forward to that.
Good luck with your countdowns Beanie and BEG.
We have 5 weeks in March so I for one am looking to get a good loss next month.0 -
Morning
Having an off plan day today. DH and I are going food shopping and we've got into a routine of having brunch in a local cafe where they do a full Scottish breakfast. Same as a full English but the cafe owners are from Scotland so we don't upset them by asking for a full English. :rotfl:
It's quite SW friendly, I only have the free items - egg, bacon, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms - but I also have toast on the side and it isn't wholemeal so a few syns are involved. Then we're out at a casino night tonight and we're having chicken curry and rice - no idea how it will be cooked so it's hard to work out the syns.
I should have planned it better to avoid doing both things on the same day so I'll have to make up for it by not having as many wine syns this weekend.8 lb for next challange.
Remind me please how long it is for? Thanks.
It's 9 weeks Beanie. Good luck with the countdown. 👍I like to think of it as a spectrum. So EESP is telling us that in principle we'll lose weight more quickly if we don't have carbs and other free foods but if we have just one small potato or a yogurt then it's still 'better' than EE. If I tweaked it like that I wouldn't bother with the extra HEB but that's personal choice.
I'm on plan today although a bit low on Speed as I'm just trying to eat up fresh stuff from the fridge as we're away for the weekend at a wedding. Fortunately my (allegedly) size 8 dress from last year still fits:D.
I like the way you've described it Maman, it makes more sense to me like that. The thing I was struggling with was having an extra HEB yet not being able to use it for a small portion of potatoes. Your way, while it is a tweak, if you still lose weight it's a good idea.
Great news about the dress! :TScarletMarble wrote: »Finally got my 2.5st award after 2 long months of being just half a pound away and illness put on the weight.
I am so stuffed with sinusitis and its the first time I've lost weight being ill

Morning all! haven't been around much this week. Been quite busy and the baby has been poorlyand not sleeping well so I'm cream crackered! Been doing well at the gym, doing a mixture of different things.
Was off plan yesterday. Had a cake in cafe and a nandos so went over syns but having looked at my food for the day the actual calorie count wasn't high so hopefully it won't have hampered a loss. Thanks for the feedback about the Creamy Pesto chicken - might put that on next month's menu plan. The only thing I've made out of the magazine is the chocolate madeleines. They're OK but the mixture either made loads or my madeleine tin is smaller than the SW team used! I made a dozen and the rest of the mixture is in the fridge and I'll make them up tomorrow. Don't think I'll bother again as they're not really like madeleines.
Was thinking about getting the new book when it goes on general sale so some feedback on it would be great.

I made the madelines too and was very disapointed. They were so dry and couldn't get them out of the tin cleanly. I never normally have a problem with that. Definitely won't be making them again!ScarletMarble wrote: »Finally got my 2.5st award after 2 long months of being just half a pound away and illness put on the weight.
