I'm a spirialiser virgin and properly christened it by cutting myself on the thing.:o:( Took me a while to get it going.

Frylight has another use on SW as when sprayed on kitchen roll or a cotton bud, it shifts the orange stains left by carrots and sweet potato:j:D

    Well done scarlet!!

I've had a quick look at the M&S and Sainsbury's lists on the site:
For M&S: 3 bean salad with mint 3.5, Edamame bean 2, King Prawn & noodles 2, Creamy Prawn Count on Us 4.5 or Sainsbury's 4 bean 2.5, Asian Stle Rice 4, Spicy Chicken Pasta 3.5 or Edamame & Butter Bean 3. They're about the lowest.

If you've got time to stop anywhere I'd recommend a jacket potato. Debenhams do a nice one with tuna. Or I like the Tuna Nicoise salad in Pret a Manger which is free until you add a dressing but it comes separately so I only use a drizzle. Or sometimes I just grab a pack of tikka chicken pieces or ham and make up for the Speed when I get home. HTH

Thanks maman, that was really helpful :) I hadn't thought of Pret as an option - ended up getting the tuna nicoise salad which was very tasty :) Funnily enough just after seeing this post I saw a new article on SW online which also recommends the tuna nicoise salad! (http://online.slimmingworld.co.uk/useful-features/eatingout-highstreet.aspx) - a few other helpful bits on their as well - it's similar to some of the other eating out guides but a bit more up to date for some places e.g. Wetherspoons

    Thank you joedenise.

    It was vile :D:D:D:D

I won't be making THAT again. I didn't eat it but the human waste disposal unit - aka my husband - did.

I ended up with my second chicken salad of the day. And a packet of Mini Jammie Dodgers as consolation.

At least I've had plenty of speed today :D:D:D:D

I was absolutely astounded this week when I saw that I had lost 3 lbs - I was SOTW and (finally) got my 2 stone award - 8 months after starting SW. I'm going to measure myself in the morning to see how many inches I've lost - I actually realised today that my watch was slightly loose!

Cooked diet coke chicken for the first time tonight. Was a bit unsure about serving it to DH (he's a meat-and-potatoes guy at heart) but he really enjoyed it and has asked for it again. The two leftover portions have gone into the freezer for lunches, I think it'd be lovely on a jacket potato.

For the next challenge I'd like to set a target of 9 lbs. I seem to be losing at pretty much a pound a week so I think that setting an achievable target will be good for my self-esteem.
