Back from WI, the shopping & blood test and having a well deserved and needed cup of tea!
Lost 0.5lb so I'm happy with that and still inside target after 3 weeks. Need to carry on sticking to plan and lose another lb or so to get back where I'd really like to be.
Change of plan for lunch and managed to pick up a couple of portabello mushrooms YS'd so decided we're having stuffed mushroom instead of soup. The soup can wait until tomorrow. It'll still be an SP day and I'll still have 2 HEBs for later on.

Thanks for the lovely (re) welcome
I'd like to aim for 14 for the challenge - (I'd like to have that off for DH's and I anniversary (29 years!!) on the 11th of April - but I fear that I'll be gaining that weekend as we're booked into a lovely spa hotel with 2 x nights B&B, 2 x evening meals and an afternoon tea all scheduled...I fear I might have a gain that weekend so I'll aim for the 14 for the end of the challenge.
So is our first weigh in next week? (I weigh in on Fridays so am I right in thinking that my first WI for the challenge would be Friday 4th?)
Food today is:
B: 2 *frylighted* eggs, 0% fat Greek yog and a mandarin
L: chicken salad - with a 1/2 HEX of cheesethinking cajun chicken breasts with sweet potato *fries* and a salad (we always have a sprinkle of cheese in our salads so that would be the other 1/2 HEX)
No Healthy Extra A choice...not sure what to do...can't really tolerate bread, don't like cereal or cereal bars...plus I'm working from really old books which don't explain the speed thing but I get the idea from what you all have said.
No syns either...as I said before...I don't like sweets or biscuits or cake or anything...wine is my downfall lol - and I'm currently off that all week...will have some at the weekend but won't go crazy (hopefully lol!!)0 -
Gingerfurball. Cheese is your HEA! It's the HEB which is missing. If you don't want to have bread then perhaps you'd like Ryvita (or similar); tinned or cooked fruit; nuts & seeds. There are lots of things you can choose from - have a look at the SW website.
You really need to use your syns. If you want to use them for wine at the weekend that's fine too. Start at 105 syns for the week and then count down to 0. Quite a few us on here do that, Maman & me included!
If you wanted more cheese there's no reason why you shouldn't syn some for extra to the HEA. I used 10g of full fat cheddar on my stuffed mushroom at lunchtime and used 2 syns for it as I always use my HEA for milk.

Morning, just popping in with this week's results - 3lbs which I'm really pleased with especially given how slow the last few weeks have gone.- 2lbs this week Shala - pleased as was another loss, after all the to-ing and fro-ing over the challenge:).Back from WI, the shopping & blood test and having a well deserved and needed cup of tea!
Lost 0.5lb so I'm happy with that and still inside target after 3 weeks. Need to carry on sticking to plan and lose another lb or so to get back where I'd really like to be.
Well done on the losses lovely people :T:T:T
I personally would be afraid of having a break from the SW bus beanie just in case I could not manage to climb back onto it. This week I have bought a 12 wk countdown and providing I have stuck to plan (bearing in mind we have DH's b'day, wedding anni, and Easter  I will decide that whatever I am at the end of the 12 wks that is going to be my target and that my body is telling me something. I will be getting the new book so hopefully will be inspired with some new recipes. Good luck with whatever you decide. We are all different and you must feel happy with the route you take. Take care of yourself. xx
Talking of new recipes - last night we had Creamy Pesto Chicken with Roast Veg Pasta which is in the latest SW mag. Very tasty and will definitely be appearing again on our menus. Used Primula Light Cheese for sauce (75g primula light is HEa). Be careful with size of Primula tubes - Asda 150g/Home Bargains 100g and our Home Bargains never seem to have the light version.
Oh my goodness we having some cracking targets coming in for the Challenge. Loving everyone's positivity.Feeling a bit of a wimp in declaring mine after the last challenge result but here we go ... Target for new Challenge Shala will be 5lbs (crossing fingers and toes).

Thanks for the feedback about the Creamy Pesto chicken - might put that on next month's menu plan. The only thing I've made out of the magazine is the chocolate madeleines. They're OK but the mixture either made loads or my madeleine tin is smaller than the SW team used! I made a dozen and the rest of the mixture is in the fridge and I'll make them up tomorrow. Don't think I'll bother again as they're not really like madeleines.
Was thinking about getting the new book when it goes on general sale so some feedback on it would be great.

Afternoon all
Shala - please can you put me down for 9lbs for the next challenge. That's 1lb a week. I CAN do it.
I'm a bit confused about this week's WI too, will Monday's chart be the first of the new challenge, or the last of the current one?
Well done to everybody posting losses this week and good luck to everyone for the next challenge.
