Diliema.
I am really struggling at the moment for various reasons.
Should I have one last bash & buy a 12 week countdown.
Or should I just have a break?
Opinions please lovely peeps.
I would go for the countdown - having a break only makes the- journey longer in the end as I know from expedience. If you go for the countdown it will help focus your mind and with luck you'll lose or at worst stay the same. At the end of the day it's your choice though. ☺Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
I tried sw sausages tonight, they weren't the best sausages I've ever had but they were ok. I added them to sausage ragout which is pasta with onions, peppers, chopped tomatoes, and sausages with paprika and fennel seeds.
There's an Iceland half an hour's drive away from here and I don't go out of my way to go there but DH and I were in the are today so we popped in to buy something for dinner as I'd forgotten to take anything out of the freezer.
I was amused to see that they'd decided to fill the shelf above the SW ready meals with chocolate! I'm afraid I gave into temptation and had a galaxy caramel egg. I didn't really enjoy it either. 😕
I would like to be in the next challenge please Shale but I'm on my phone and can't work out changing colour and size so I'll let you know my target tomorrow.

Morning, just popping in with this week's results - 3lbs which I'm really pleased with especially given how slow the last few weeks have gone.
Could I please go for 7lbs for the next challenge shala. Thanks for all your hard work with the chart and keeping up with the thread. Well done to the SOTWs and to everyone else posting losses :T0 -

From experience, I know the damage that a big break as such can do. Although there are times when you get totally saturated with it and just can't think about it. I would say have a small break of maybe a week or so - just like a holiday and then get back on it.
I def say a small break and enjoy not thinking about it etc then back on it, best to keep your finger in.
Hugs, its not nice at all to feel like that.0 -
Beanie - you probably should go for the 12 week countdown as you're not happy where you are at the moment; and if you do it now you may get some new ideas for meals from the free book they're giving away at the moment so win:win. Good luck.
Welcome to the new peeps and returners!
Am going to weigh in this morning for the 1st time in 3 weeks; it's feeling better not worrying about it every week. Not staying though as have to go to have a fasting blood test done and can't wait until nearly lunchtime to have a cup of tea and something to eat!!!
Trying a SP day today:
B - water
L - HM carrot & coriander soup; HEB bread
D - pork chop, mashed swede, green beans & brussels. DH will have potato as well.
HEA - will be milk in teas throughout the day
HEB2 - not sure either crackers & butter (2 syns) or toast & butter (2 syns)
Other syns not sure

Morning everyone
I'd like to go for 8lbs for the new challenge please shala. That'll take me to bang on 10 st which I'm hoping will be my proper target, although I think I could be 8 st and not be happy with my body. Got to draw a line somewhere though and I'm finding it harder to lose the lbs now so I'm guessing that must mean that I'm close to target
Why don't you just declutter rather than clean candy then when the windows are in cleaning will be so much easier? I've done quite a lot of 'tidying up' lately based on Marie Kondo and it's so much easier to keep things clean with less 'stuff' hanging around:).
Thanks maman a de-clutter is definitely what I need. I feel better though after doing a bit of a clean up, we occasionally have an issue with damp/mildew so I was up early with my green bottle of Dettol. Everywhere looks much better now although the window guys aren't coming until tomorrow. Will have to google Marie Kondo and see if she can help me
Hope wiz is ok after her last post. I miss her meal plans they used to help me out especially with green days. Also welcome back meg, hope you're doing ok
Good luck beanie whatever you decide to. Would agree with the others in saying that the longer you are off the SW wagon the harder it is to get back on. I know that from experience especially after christmas & not feeling 100% afterwards. Maybe buying a 12 week countdown would give you the motivation you need? Upto you in the end though of course, do whatever you feel is best for you
Well done everyone with the losses :T
I think I might tackle that BNS today. The sun is shining, it's spurring me on to do things
Today's food:
B - all bran & nectarine
L - either BNS soup or jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad
T - chicken and veg casserole (onion, carrot, leek, cabbage, baby sprouts)
Syns for tuna mayo if I have it, will probably be more to come0 -
I think I have cracked my bad run/being sabbed. I've lost what I gained last week, so even though I'm reaching the end of the challenge and will have failed at losing what I wanted for the time, I can enter the next phase feeling better about myself...
And hopefully I will be able to do some swimming or cycling at the weekend, something a bit active but gentle on me knees!
For the next challenge, I will be kind to myself and aim for 5lbs, please.
Today:
breakfast hexb Aldi Wheat biscuits and hexa milk
lunch: pasta with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, courgettes
snacks: banana and kiwi
dinner: chicken, swede, roast parsnips, cabbage, carrots.
Gravy 2 syns
