Morning,
Totally offplan weekend was had here as well. Frankie & Bennys on Saturday morning for Breakfast. Was called for though, had a good chat with the mother.
Seems they are trying to resolve their differences and father is going to behave..........time will tell.
Anyway hopefully it won't rear its ugly head again any time soon but I'm not overly hopeful.
Epic fail in forgot to leave something out of the freezer for tonight. Need to go home and do some form of workout - or else get up to the gym. Lying around like a sloth all weekend drinking and eating would pretty much sum up my weekend.
Going to give myself a facial tonight as well. Time to put the parents to the side and focus on me and my life again.0 -
Wow Abbafan what a difference. Well done you. Looking forward to your near update pic :T
Having to dash off but just had to comment on Abbafan's pic. Got weigh in tonight - don't quite know how I feel about that. :undecided
Will report back later.

Hi everyone,
Been to the hospital this morning, and my clot is breaking down, which is great news. Plus my friend is perkier then she has been about her mum passing. Despite everything being on the positive side now, for some reason feel a bit meh, which just isn't me!!
When I was in the hospital this morning, it took longer then I thought and I didn't manage to have breakfast, so I went into the little hospital shop, it was 49p for a big bag of crisps but 79p for an apple! Was shocked. Still went for the apple, but doesn't exactly promote healthy eating! Look at me getting on my high horse as if I'm Jamie Oliver :rotfl:
Pleased to report another loss this week, of -3lbs.
Well done to all losers and STS's, hugs to any gainers.
Thanks for the continued support guys :T:T0 -
Here's the lemon cheesecake recipe for anyone that's interested:
1. Soak 10 sheets of gelatine in cold water.
2. Crush 14 ginger nut biscuits and combine with 50g melted low fat spread. Press into base of 20cm cake tin and chill for 30 mins.
3. Squeeze the water out of the gelatine and dissolve in 150ml boiling water.
4. Put the gelatine water mix in food processor and add 6 vanilla mullerlights, and the juice and zest of two lemons and 1 tbsp of sweetner. Blitz together.
5. Pour on top of biscuit base and chill for at least 6 hours.
6. Melt 40g dark choc and drizzle over top.
I put raspberries on top too. Was very nice but not really a cheesecake. Was going to try to put a pic on but having technical issues! I worked it out as 7 syns for an eighth of the cake.0 -

Thanks for that but don't think I'll be trying that any time soon! Too many syns for something that isn't really a cheesecake.

Hi Everyone
Not long back from wi and reporting a loss of 1lb this week which means I am exactly where I started at the beginning of this Challenge.
Have debated with myself all week over what to do next and I decided to go for a 12 wk countdown and then whatever I am at the end of that I will class that as target. Well just before I left the house tonight I was having second thoughts - however I have bought the cd and we will just see how it goes. During image therapy I was thinking - if only I could lose that 1lb a wk over next 12 wks.
Well done to all our lovely losers. Hugs to anyone struggling with it all and life in general.
