Was gutted on Saturday weigh-in, as I maintained! I suppose it's better than a gain, but I'm still half a pound away from my next award.

To cheer myself up, I decided to do a before and after picture and couldn't believe the difference, I didn't notice until I put the pictures side by side.

Abbafan - even though you didn't get the result you wanted on the scales it is very definitely a NSV! There's a huge difference between the two photos!

A fairly easy day today as using LOs from yesterday!

    B - porridge; 1 tsp honey; strawberries (HEB + 1)
L - LO couscous with salady bits; lettuce, cornichons, picked onions, beetroot; tuna - only difference from yesterday was we had ham not tuna
D - LO cold roast beef; boiled potatoes; ratatouille

    HEA will be 300ml 1%.

Have seen the ads for the new milk but haven't tried it. I'm happy with the 1% so will probably stick with that.

    Morning!

B: bubble and squeak, 1 egg, 1/2 tin tomatoes and a few mushrooms
L: tuna salad with mayo (2) aldi curls (3)
D: hm meatballs in tomato/veggie sauce, spagetti broccili. He A cheese

2 alpen light bars (b) skimmed milk for cuppas (3)

Feeling rather blergh today and very gloomy! No reason why really which I think makes it worse

    Hope all is well

Abba - Well done! I am a big fan of doing comparison pics, as I think you see yourself all the time so you adapt to your new size so gradually that you don't notice it's smaller until you see old pics/clothes.

I had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday, got some upsetting news. It's nothing to be concerned about, as it's not actually bad news - just upset me at the time. But instead of diving for the chocolate tub as I previously would have, I did a workout instead so I'm super proud of that!

    Today...
    Breakfast - Eggs and fruit
Lunch - Pulled pork roll and salad (B1)
Dinner - Chicken and roasted veggies
    Pudding - Baked oats (B2 + 0.5 syn)

Need to decide whether my A choice will be cheese with the pulled pork or a coffee. Maybe both! :D

A week to go, and I am afraid I have gained 1lb.

I am not getting the support and encouragement I was hoping for at home. It lasts a few days, and then I get persuaded to break food optimising.

For instance, the place I wanted to go to yesterday for Sunday lunch, I could have happily had my glass of wine and meat and veggies and boiled new potatoes...

Instead someone else had their preference, and the Sunday lunches came in a giant Yorkshire pudding and there were only deep fried roasties for spuds (pubs tend to fry potatoes instead of roasting - it guarantees golden, crispy spuds and is quicker than roasting properly). Also, no wine in the place, so I had a cider.

I am much debilitated by my knee so not being as active as I normally am, either.

So, it was a good start, but I have joined you lot and am now having a proper flaky patch. So, whilst I'm not impressing you much, at least you are there for me to take inspiration from, and I shall put this behind me and this WILL happen!!

That's a great NSV abbafan, thanks for posting. You're not only close to your 3.5stone shiny but almost halfway through your SW journey.:)

So sorry to hear that the family aren't being supportive, wishus. It's infuriating when you go somewhere and there are no healthy choices. All I'd suggest is that you save up some syns in readiness for your next meal out and hopefully you'll get your choice of venue next time!

That was good to STS considering a weekend away lois. Perhaps you can replicate whatever you did last week again. It certainly worked.:)

I'm having a good, on plan day today but I think the rest of the week (except maybe Thursday) will have off plan meals featuring plus we're away at the weekend for a wedding. So this week I'm just going to do my best when I can and then when I get back I'll try to redress any damage.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, fried egg, bacon, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO fried veg and cold chicken
D: gammon, new potatoes, cabbage and carrots
Syns: squirt of HP sauce and maybe some chocolate (3 syns?)

Afternoon all.. not been around much but I have been reading. I don't post so much when I'm not sticking to plan as I feel naughty :o:p

I imagine I've put on loads but I haven't weighed at all for a while so I've no idea.. Yesterday was Spa day so a bit of exercise was done and then a 3 course lunch  so negated the exercise and more I'd have thought..

Well done to of you that are losing :T and everyone else who is still going :T

Can't wait to see the pics later Abbafan - they block them at work so we can't see anything :(

I love your kittens Emmylou, he looks like he has a little toupee on :happyhear gorgeous!

Trying to stick to plan today and have a very small lunch as I forgot the bread :( but need to make up for the gluttony of the past week and a half! Off to town drinking on Friday so if I can manage 4 days then that gives me a bit of damage control.

    B - strawberries, yogurt, granola (0.5heb)
L - small can of spaghetti hoops
T - roast veg - BNS, onions, sweet potato, carrots &, Cajun chicken
    S - apple, milk (hea)

May have to persuade OH to go shopping tonight as we have no food in the house at all so I'm scraping the barrel for the veg!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend

I've not diverted off track or binged on bad stuff since Thurs which probably doesnt sound like a huge deal but I'm ridiculously proud of myself :D I just hope the scales are kind to me on Wed morning. I sneakily weighed myself yesterday morning and they hadn't moved very much so I'm packing in the speed for the next 2 days and hope it makes a difference.

I'm about to head off on a little walk as it's gorgeous and sunny out there and it's making me want to do exercise for some unknown reason! So posting and running pretty much ..

B - all bran with banana & apple
L - tin of spaghetti hoops so far, probably something more substantial later
T - potato leek and tomato bake from the Jan/Feb SW mag

    Syns to be arranged later

Will have to tackle that BNS later today, it's still sitting in my veg rack pleading to be used. I didn't get around to doing anything with it as had a busy weekend

Hope you all have a good monday
    xx

candyapple - I wouldn't worry too much about the BNS it'll keep for ages as long as it's in a cool place. I've kept them for a couple of months before now without using and they're fine.
