Enjoy your new home Emmylou and think of all the Body Magic when you're unpacking! Plus, as you restock your fridge and freezer you have the chance to buy in SW friendly stuff.:D

Tried to stay on track today but peanut butter attacked me while passing through the kitchen :o

Kitchens are dangerous places tonight. I was attacked by crisps!!

We don't have a game tomorrow greentiger but hope you have a good result. At the moment we're taking pleasure in hearing of other's misfortunes like injuries to Rooney, De Gea, Terry....:rotfl:

For those of you unhappy at not losing weight 'up top'. I found on getting to target I didn't lose anything on cup size but did lose on my back measurement. This pleased me as I went from bursting out of 38D to now 34D. Advice I'd give is to get properly measured for a decent bra. It cost a lot to start with (but definitely worth it) and now I know my proper size I just look in TK Maxx regularly.

Oh crisps don't just get me in the kitchen, they follow me round the house

I'm a dog person but love the video doing the rounds of cats and cucumbers :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all, welcome to the weekend :)

I understand people saying they'd get bored having the same foods every day, but that really isn't the case for me. I think I would actually find the plan way harder if I was constantly having to think of new stuff to have. It's only really breakfast and lunch where I stick with the same stuff (and I do switch my lunch up every now and again) - and those are the meals where I really need something convenient as don't have time to spend ages preparing. I tend to get a bit more variety in evening meals (though as I generally cook for just me I do sometimes have the same thing a couple of days in a row to use up leftovers - that's never bothered me though :))

    Yesterday's eating looked like this:
    Breakfast: bran flakes (HeB), 2xclementines
Morning snacks: apple, pear, nectarine, 2x Clementine
Lunch: asda snack pot (1 syn - just discovered some of these have been recalculated down from 1.5 syns to 1 syn :D)
Afternoon snacks: alpen light (3 syns), apple, clementines
Dinner: aldi pulled lamb with mint sauce (1 syn), aldi baby jacket potatoes (1.5 syn), peas, green beans, broccoli
Evening snacks: Muller light, treat size curly wurly (3syns), treat size crunchie (4syns)
Drinks: water, NAS squash, zero pop, coffee with heA milk

Felt like I ate very well yesterday for surprisingly few syns. Think we're going out for dinner tonight so will hopefully be able to find something sensible to eat!

Why is it always wine which attacks me? Crisps don't bother me at all and DH only has them occasionally. I definitely don't have to worry about peanut butter either - can't even stand the smell of it, LOL, even when DH has eaten it.

My DD1 is coming over later this morning so have decided on Free burgers (made with 5% mince) in HM roll for lunch in case she stays.

So it's going to be another EE day today:

    B - SW fry up
L - burger, onions, salad in HM roll (7 syns)
D - HM chicken curry from freezer & rice - loads of speed veg in the curry but probably not much chicken, LOL!

Will be more wine syns this evening.

HEA will be milk as usual. Not sure what HEB yet, if I have one at all.

Lesson learnt not to buy spicy tomato snaps again :o 3 syns a bag so great except I've eaten 8 out of the 10 bags already since thursday :eek:

Trip to the cinema this afternoon wth the little Hinge's..... have got a tub of chopped up fruit, 2 alpen bars(B) and a tub of hm haribos (1.5syns) although the kids will pinch most of these! Should keep me out of the popcorn bucket but I'm taking my knitting too just to be sure :rotfl:

Brunch: 2 poached eggs, 1/2 tin of plum toms, handful of chopped mushrooms. bowl of strawberries and melon
Dinner:Hm pork and veggie stir fry with noodles, honey (1) soysauce. (the others are having take away chinese and its my favourite but doesnt agree with me and leaves me doubled up with bad cramps!)
    He A milk for cuppas

That looks interesting rebster. Does it say pulled lamb with mint sauce on the packet? I wouldn't want to buy the wrong thing. What's in the Asda snack pots? It's not often syns go down!

It was the wine that got to me first denise but they were planned syns ;) but then resistance was low. I don't buy crisps except for holidays but DD1 brought a packet round for us to try! DH opened them at lunchtime and they were far too handy when I was refilling my glass.

Changed my dinner plans last night as I'd forgotten I'd defrosted some sausages so we had sausage and mash. That means I've now got LO mash and veg to make my lunch. Making HB steaks tonight but with chips as Dave and Si intended rather than like a roast.

    Today's EE menu:
B: Nas grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: ham with bubble & squeak and pickles
D: HB steaks with onions and mushrooms, SW chips, mixed green stuff (asparagus, peas, mange tout, broccoli), tomatoes.
Syns: squirt of syrup, weekend wine!:T and hopefully DH will finish the crisps so they can't tempt me.
  • Today hasn't' gone very well. First of all my satnav sent me the wrong place of rthe parkrun so we ended up missing out. We had a bit of a walk around the pakr at least when we did eventually get there!
Weigh in I STS. I am gutted as I didn't have any takeaway all week! I have now counted up all my syns for the week and it does average more thna 15 per day.... (although some products I'm struggling for syn values as I'm not sure if they are pure calories or not....like home bake SFC chicken goujons - but they were at the weekend when I'm normally not totally on plan anyway so didn't think it'd matter!). I can't help feeling cross with the result though as normally if I had a takeaway over the weekend it'd be way more syns.

Perhaps being naughtier at the start of the week actually boosts weight loss?? Key being sticking to being low the rest of the week I guess.

Meant to be going on a night out with work friday, I know they all expect me to drink, I wonder if they'd be disappointed if I stick to diet cokes....need to get serious if I'm going to get to target before the wedding and I know I wont try as hard after.

could you be driving? on antibiotics? tell them it's vodka/jd or what ever else can be with diet coke? I don't drink and nights out used to always be them trying to ply me with drinks and me dodging it until one day I lost it and had a tantrum. :o
